Came in for "dip nails" . Young gentleman grounded my nails down so much they were paper thin . He dipped my nails , and when my "real nail" was showing , and I pointed it out to him , he tried to file my real nails down around the powdered nails . I was a walk-in. I have not been there before. I waited and looked at their book of prices. I asked for her to remove my old nails and start over. She didn't put tips back on and did the powder nails with no light. Up charged for glitter that she didn't tell me about and cost $60, which was not on their list of prices anywhere. I will never get my nails done here again. The guy who did my nails nicked ALL OF MY FINGERS, and I asked for SNS and they gave me acrylic. My sister had three different people working on her nails, my friend had nothing done with her cuticles and the worker doing her nails was super distracted even though they weren't busy. After a ton of yard work, I went in to get my feet cleaned up. He actually didn't trim or file one whole foot. Between every coat of gel he would hit my toes with the light. Then when he finished painting my toes he then proceeded to dip my feet in the paraffin wax and put my feet back in the water. I spent $80 on this pedicure. They overcharge ($5/nail) for designs that aren't professionally done and take 2 seconds to do, then make you feel badly for even asking! They often start with one person and move you to another, even with an appt made. I've been here before covid, and during and it was the same bad attitude. Left feeling stressed and sad each time but finally learned. When I asked for options for holidays, woman said bring in a picture and was irritated that I even asked about designs! They weren't even busy when I asked and she rushed through my nails as she has every time I've had her. They want your money but don't care if you leave happy.... awful. Zero stars if I could. The lady who did my nails was extremely rude. When I pay for a service it expect to get my moneys worth. My nails were crooked and she became rude after I asked her to fix them. After doing a design I requested that looked nothing like what I expected she told me she wasn't going to finish my nails and sent over someone else to do them. The lady was answering phone calls and scheduling people while doing my nails. She frequently left do to other customers nails during my appointment (which I scheduled ahead of time). The nail techs had open cans of alcohol (assuming drinking on the job. NOT professional.) My nails are still crooked and chunky looking. DONT GO HERE. 60$ down the drain read more

No wonder it wasn't very busy with only a few people.I even heard others ask for changes to their nails and they didn't make them. I didn't get at all what I asked for either (which wasn't difficult mind you- Colored french tips). Never got the right colors when I told them the specific number, laughed when I asked to cut them shorter and change the shape and he said he "did it exactly like the picture I showed", and didn't do the color/design I wanted at ALL after several times explaining it. My nails were so bumpy and thick and even had scuffs in them at the end. I had to say "do what you want" just to get it over with. After he did my nails he walked away and never said a word or directed me to pay which was disrespectful. I cannot believe people go to this place and the station I was at was NOT clean, yuck! I've been here twice now. Do not recommend! My first time, went for simple color with acrylics. They gave me 2, not 10, acrylic tips. This made those 2 thicker than the rest. Then they used just polish on the other 8. They also kept catching my fingerswith the tools. This was 2 years ago. Today? I figured I'd give them another go. I went to get my nails removed for professional reasons. I came in with round nails and left with sharp and unbuffed square nails. But my 12 y.o. daughter's sns was an absolute nightmare. They kept nicking her skin with the tool, shredding her skin. Her nails were also sharp and had acrylic nail flakes hanging off. So after spending $55 at a nail salon. They need to update their website when I finally got there 15 min later no one was at the front desk I had to call to inform them I was there. Waited for half hour got up to ask how much longer and they were very rude. My nails ended up having smudged on three of them when I told her about it didn't fix it just put clear coat on it. My previous manicure was done by a poorly skilled technician. I returned and complained. They did not argue with me and said that they would redo my nails. When I returned they gave me the same technician. I told her I didn't want her to do my nails and would she get me another. She sat down and started doing my nails. I told her multiple times I did not want her to do my nails. Finally, I pulled my hands away and said, "Don't you understand what I am saying?". She then got up and another technician took over. Tonight I needed a manicure and decided to give them another try. My technician did a satisfactory job. However, when I got ready to pay my fee was $10 more than I normally pay. I asked why and he attempted to explain. I had to ask him three times and still did not understand what he was trying to say. Some of this could be language barrier. The place appears to be very clean, it's very spacious and open, but the 3 stars given are for the actual service. I had the "organic" dip powder full set. The guy rushed through the entire process, from start to finish. My nails are very uneven - both length and overall surface. I left with a lot of build up underneath my nails, hardened gel around my cuticles and crooked nails. I'm pretty sure I've done my nails better. Very unfortunate since I've heard other good reviews. After having a horrific pedicure in Rhinelander, a friend recommended T Pro Nails in Wausau. The salon is modern and clean with lots of polish choices. They were very busy when I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time but took the time to greet and check me in and take me to my pedicure chair. They hand you a pedicure menu with several options from basic to plush. I chose the mint pedicure $35 with a $5 add-on paraffin wax. My technician was great and took great care in smoothing the rough spots. My polish application was flawless and I haven't had any bubbles or chips. Asked for an silver glitter ombre effect on my toes, and was given glitter globs. To get three silver crystals on each toe, in the shape of a Mickey Head, had to fight and argue to talk them into it. Overall, very disappointed in the service, cost, and net result from the experience. First time that I have ever wanted to cry when leaving a pedicure/manicure, and I do not recommend this salon.
