I had heard good things about T's, and though I was not sure they would be open, I took a chance and drove by. My heart leapt when I saw that open sign! Those of you with piercings know that time is of the essence... Anyway, the owner took such good care of me. When I told her I had no idea what gauge the piercing was, she sized it for me, inserted the new jewelry, and after apologizing that she had very little jewelry in stock, took down my number so she could call me back in when her supplies normalized. She even said she'd give me a replacement for free, since I didn't get to pick out jewelry today (just whatever she still had in stock). I went in with an older tattoo that needed to be revived and also wanted to make it into a 1/2 sleeve. T did an awesome job hearing my thoughts and coming up with a design that both extended the piece from my shoulder down to my elbow as well as accentuating the existing tattoo. Plus her "chair side" engagement is awesome. She engages you in conversation and really helps keep your mind off of any pain. I got my nose pierced here right at a month ago and am very disappointed in how it's turned out. When the man who pierced me asked about what jewelry I intended to wear and I told him a hoop, he mentioned that the piercing should be done slightly lower than usual. I questioned him on this, as I have previously had my other nostril pierced and wore a hoop, and it was done higher than he recommended. He made a mark on my nose that was just a skosh lower than I would have expected but was not so low that it was strange looking. It was just below the crease of my nostril: The location he *actually* pierced is well below the place he marked, but he assured me it was the right location. By this point, however, the mark had been wiped away; no evidence. He assured me once the swelling had gone down and it was healed enough to get a hoop in it, I would see the location was proper for a hoop. Well, here we are, a month later (he told me to wait 2wks; I waited a month), and it's awful. It looks like my nose is melting and the nose ring is sliding out of my nostril. It's much much too low. For comparison, the ring in my septum in the photo is the exact same size, 8mm, and you can see how close to the bottom of my septum it fits; the nostril piercing actually sits at or lower than where my septum ring sits, even though my nostril is clearly higher on my face. My previous nostril piercing worn with a hoop fit similarly close/snug to my nose as my current septum piercing sits to my septum. The difference is extremely noticeable, plus the hanging ring is in the way of every single time you wipe your nose or face. It's just so bad. I called today to see what my options were to fix it, and a woman told me that since I approved the location before being pierced, I'd have to pay full price for a re-pierce. Here's the thing--this is not the location I approved. It is much much much lower than the dot the man made on my nose. I went in shortly after I called just to show another piercer how poorly placed it was and to get an opinion/options in person, and I got the same answer, which is disappointing. I've had a similar issue happen once before a decade ago, where the piercing was clearly in the wrong place, and the shop redid it entirely for free. I would happily pay for the supplies for T's to fix this, but it's unreasonable to expect someone to pay full price for an error made by their employee. Whether his much too large gloves caused him to miss or he just isn't terribly experienced, I don't know. It's just bad; that's all there is to it. I chose this place coz the ratings were pretty good and I didn't wanna make the drive to Shaman. Stupid me. Now I'm out $50 ($40 plus the tip), have to wait several weeks for this disaster to heal, then pay someone else to do it all over again and deal with the healing process all over again too. When I spoke to the shop today, they said the piercer I had is only there on Mondays and Tuesdays, so if you do choose to go here, don't go on those days I guess. In the end, I guess this is a lesson in trusting your gut and self advocacy that cost me $50 and a hole in my body to learn. Silly me trusting a professional. After 50+ piercings, you'd think I'd have those things down pat, but I guess not. As an aside, the place seems clean, but you should probably call ahead if you have a latex allergy. The dude who made this mess of my nose had a hard time finding non latex gloves to pierce me with, and he ended up wearing nitrile gloves that were a couple sizes too big (something he himself said outloud and joked about several times). Maybe that's why he missed the dot he made. read more

Lucky us, T blue's moved location to be just down the street. My oldest got her ears pierced in August of this year, and my little one just got hers done last night. Both times it was a fantastic experience! Bugz did my oldest and was so calm and fun with her. She never flinched or cried and was so happy. My little one had her ears done by the owner T, who was just as patient and fantistic. Even when my daughter got scared and started flinching, T was stern but still great and we got the job done. My boyfriend wanted to get a memorial tattoo for his father who passed away last October. He wanted a simple traditional cross, something I would expect any tattoo artist would be able to do no problem, right? Well apparently not.. Not only did Bugs (the tattoo artist) mess up the tattoo, he completely ruined it and it will have to be completely reconstructed and will never look the way that it's supposed to. Honestly this was a terrible experience, and especially for my boyfriend who was getting this tattoo done while grieving his father who had passed away months before, in hopes that this tattoo could bring him some closure. When in reality this place ended up causing him so much more stress... Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I got my noses pierced about 2 months ago at a different shop. I was having an issue with the healing but I was hesitant to go somewhere else and be judged by the healing. This shop did not judge me at all and immediately I felt comfortable talking about the issue. Not only did T me so much knowledge and information but they saved my nose and piercing. T explained to me that it is not recommended to be pierced with a flat back stud due to the back pressure that can create irritation (exactly what mine was doing). She also explained that even though I paid $80 for my first stud that price point of jewelry is not always better. She was able to get the stud out and the immediate relief I felt was amazing. She changed it to a hoop and thank baby Jesus she was quick so the pain wasn't terrible. She gave me the aftercare instructions and let me know if I ever have a problem to give her call. If you're ever worried about a piercing you have or think to just take it out and let it heal I highly recommend having T take a look at it before you give up! read more

Peanut did my piercing and it was a great experience. Went back a year later to get a tattoo, completed by T who completely ruined it. It was rushed and looked nothing like the stencil. I walked out trying not to cry and even mentioned it looked nothing like how it should have. I had to get it covered with something completely different by another artist at another shop. Which turned out amazing. Even they were amazed at how terrible she had done and how deep she had went in with the lettering. The letters were not straight and the lines were a mess. When she would go over a line she wouldn't even trace over it correctly, and my butterfly had like 5 different antennae. Terrible experience. This tattoo was for my kids and my baby I lost. I am still amazed at how terrible I was treated after the tattoo was ruined and just the lack of care shown. I would not recommend this place. read more

Do not let Bugz pierce you. I went to get my septum pierced he and pushed the needle through twice, and both were too low and therefore very painful. I bled waaaaaay too much for a septum piercing. I got the opinion of another experienced piercer at a different location the next day and was told to take the jewelry out immediately. I returned to T's Blues and Tattoos the next day to request a refund, which I would've been fine without if he had admitted his mistake or offered me any advice at all, but Bugz was incredibly rude to me and was indignant about his piercing being placed properly when it very clearly was not. I will absolutely never return to this shop and will warn friends away from it. I found out after the fact that someone else I know had the same septum issue there. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

My daughter and I got a wild hair, and decided to get our ear cartilage pierced. They took us right away, and both of us got really good service. The artist was professional and quick. It's been a few months, and I'm really happy with my piercing, and so is my daughter. We are set to go back this week. My daughter for her nose, and me for another ear piercing. All in all I can't see where they'd have room to improve. They had a good selection of jewelry, and when my daughter wanted to change from the hoop to a stud, they said c'mon in and did it for free. I stopped in one day and showed a photo to the owner and we made an appointment for a tattoo. I was asked to put down $40 for her to draw the design and I asked to have the design sent to me prior to the appointment. It was a day before the appointment and I texted asking about the design. I didn't get a response but had to send a text later that day saying that I needed to reschedule. I got a text back and she said she would work on the design and send it to me. She never did. Over the course of a few weeks I sent another two texts with the last one asking if she'd just like to refund the $40. No response. So the owner still has my $40 but her competition across the street now has $300 from me for a tattoo I love. read more
