I had a really disappointing and unsafe experience with Manuel at Legacy Tattoo. He pierced my tongue completely wrong and the process was not sanitary at all. He didn't use a clamp, which is standard for proper placement and safety, and he also used the wrong jewelry size -- there was zero room for swelling, which is extremely dangerous for a fresh tongue piercing. I've had other piercings done and this was by far the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. I would not recommend getting pierced here, especially for something as sensitive as a tongue piercing. Not to mention, when i went back to confront him about it, he got immediately defensive and rude about it and took no accountability.

Staff was friendly and non judgmental of my silly reasoning for a tattoo... line work is good, coloring is good, and honestly seeing some of the artists work was truly impressive and if I wanted more tattoos they would certainly be near the top of my list. I wait. A group of four people walk in talking about what tattoos they are going to get. We wait. No one comes out. Then a group of 5 young girls come in. Talking about what piercings they are going to get. I'm still waiting. No one has come out to check that the door bell has chimed to customers coming in the door. Then the girls getting pierced are done. They come out and start paying. Not ONE WORD from the piercer of "hi I'm sorry for the wait" or "hi we are very busy today what would you like and it will be a couple hours". Nothing. Then at least 6 more people arrive. The waiting area is full. After the piercer is done checking the three girls out she asks one of the 5 girls what piercing she wants. WHAT! Hello. There is a room full of people. I've now been standing there 25 minutes at least because I am loyal to a business, but now I'm disgusted. It is basic common courtesy to acknowledge you have paying people in the room. Over 100 bucks when I just needed a replacement ball. Fast forward a few months - the expensive piece fell out and I wanted to replace it with the same high quality materials. Unfortunately, I have had a negative expirience with one of the piercers. Pineapple, Jade, and Mercedes have all pierced me at different points. Around 3 years ago Mercedes pierced my verticle labret, and it turned out beautiful. Unfortunately I had to take it out because of a surgery after a few months, and once I recovered and wanted to get it repierced I went back. This time Travis pierced it, and I did not agree with his personality very much, as I felt he made some kind of targeted comments at my preferred jewelry and piercing placement, and he also was a little rude when we were having a conversation regarding the circumstances of my surgery. Since there was a scar showing the placement of my previous piercing, I trusted the results would be similiar, but after seeing the markings and thinking they looked good, the piercing happened and it felt a little off. Originally he tried to give me a piece of jewelry for the healing that was comically oversized, and when I said that I would like a smaller size, he acted as if it was a silly request. But truly, my lip was not going to swell to double its normal size because of a repiercing. I signed a form, got the smaller jewelry, and figured I would downsize when it was appropriate and hopefully I wouldnt feel like the placement was weird, but after the piercing had healed and I went to get it downsized, he revealed that no jewelry would fit the way I wanted because there werent any small enough piercings unless I had one custom made. I couldnt afford that so I just accepted it, until this year when I started disliking it so much I decided id rather not have the piercing than have the weirdly placed one, so I took it out. I know the difference might look kind of minimal, but it really drove me crazy to feel the piercing wiggling around so much, and not be able to afford jewelry I would like because it was not within standard sizes. For a while I blamed my anatomy, but a few weeks ago I realized maybe my lips arent weirdly shaped and my prefered placement should be possible, so I got it repierced elsewhere. Now that it is healed (or at least no longer swollen), I can confidently say that Travis messed up with the piercing placement, and acted quite unprofessionally in my opinion. I am comfortably wearing a size piercing that I think is third from the smallest standard size, and it fits exactly how I want. I will attach a photo with a comparison of the piercing i got from travis and my current piercing. (in the top pictures I am wearing a 16g, 1/4 inch piercing, and in the bottom pictures I am wearing a 16g, 3/8 inch piercing.) I cannot recommend the other piercers enough, and I hope to return here for many future jobs, but I would like to recognize this expirience in my review because it was an upsetting expirience that cost me time and money.

The service was super fast and professional, almost no pain, even considering piercing through tough scar tissue. I specifically asked to go through already existing nostril piercing because I liked that location, and the piercer did exactly what I wanted! The person at the front counter was very helpful and friendly that night as well. He helped me choosing the jewelry for my piercings and showed me two other pieces of jewelry I was interested in. Ultimately, I purchased a new earring and upgraded a nostril piercing jewelry to a colored pink stone.
