Their shop really is like a factory and I got to see how they embroider/screen print. I got 12 shirts for under $200 embroidered. That's including the digitalization and a color change in the logo. Place does solid work at a competitive price. Owner told me they have been in Oceanside since 1984 but recently upgraded to a new location not far in Carlsbad. It's right near the Carlsbad Lowes, off El Camino and Palomar Airport Road. Same contact info should work but he gave me a heads up they may have a new phone number. He told me to continue to use the current number but they may have to switch, same email address though! He did stress email is probably the best point of contact especially to get accurate pricing. If you include photos of the jobs you are looking to get silk screened or embroidered it gives them a more accurate idea of what you want and a better ability for them to price your jobs. I called at 4:40 pm when I was on my way and told them what I wanted. I arrived at 4:55. I wanted simple couples shirts, one saying Together 20 and the other Since 16. When i got there the guy said $15 for the design on each shirt plus a $10 set up fee. Why are you charging me to set up if you should already be set up to make shirts! I know they closed at 530 pm, but it really seems like they didn't want my business. I only went there because of the Yelp deal. I ended up going to the T-shirt Mart a few blocks over and I'm very pleased with what I got there. read more

I've cancelled my order but this is why I am giving them a 5 star. I spoke with Cheryl on the phone, she was very nice, helpful and easy to talk to. She cancelled and voided the charge on my credit card. I requested a cancellation because I found a vendor who quoted me a slightly lower price, although it is slightly lower, I foresee myself getting my kids school uniforms screen printed every year and eventually the savings will add up over the years. As for getting a lower quote from another vendor, I believe that T-Shirt Factory has one of the most reasonable prices out there. I've gotten at least 8 different quotes and their price came in 2nd, this is due to the number of shirts I wanted to get printed. Since I ordered a low quantity, it is understandable that it would make a difference in price because they are based on quantity and the number of colors. Anyway, it is my fault for overlooking an e-mail from another vendor and didn't see the price difference. I am thankful that Cheryl was still able to cancel my pending order. If you are a business who needs a lot of shirts printed, this is the place to go. They provide exemplary customer service with clear and friendly communication. I've read negative reviews regarding set up charges and art work. These charges are normal and wherever you go, they will charge you for it. Screen printing takes time and they have to create the screen template for it. I'm not an expert on this but I've watched enough YouTube videos to get a gist of the process. The amount of time and work are not free that is why they charge for it. Even if you have your own artwork, the person still needs to modify/edit it to make it look nice which takes time as well. I like getting great deals and who doesn't? But I also want to be reasonable and respect the worth of other people's time and work they put in. read more

I needed to expedite an order for a last minute event and the guys there were extremely helpful. I placed the order on Wednesday and was able to pick up before our noon event on Monday. We upgraded to premium cotton which provided a nice soft fabric but the cut of the unisex shirt was a little narrow on the waist for our taste. read more

I had a custom inquiry about some vinyl lettering I needed for a couple shirts that I wanted so badly for the upcomimg Rolling Stones concert. If I could give 10 stars I would. I was in such a bind on getting a set of 14 Bachelor Party tank tops printed for my boyfriend's Vegas Trip. I previously went with "someone cheap" and he totally blew me off two days before the Bachelor Party. Thank God I found Cheryl & Dave. I emailed her at 2:00pm on Wednesday and literally had the shirts in hand 12:00 noon on Thursday. They were both so helpful in making sure the tank tops looked perfect. I have to say reading the other Yelp reviews, a "set up fee" and "artwork" fee is totally standard in this type of industry, especially if you want quality product. With that being said, their set up fees are fair along with the pricing per shirt. I am beyond appreciative of their customer service and quality of product. If I could give 0 stars I would. I never write reviews but had to for this "business". My husband called ahead of time to see if they could burn a screen for him, they told him to come in. Upon coming in he was told that the job was not a priority and they couldn't give him an estimate of when it could be done. They proceeded to show him another customer's screen who has been sitting still waiting to be done for 3 weeks, as if this was something to be proud of. I requested a quote for a custom embroidery piece from several embroidery businesses (via Yelp). Dave, from the T-Shirt Factory in Oceanside is the only one whose response included some changes to the artwork I already had. I had casually mentioned in my email that I wanted blue sky, mountains, etc. in the background. He put some in right away, emailed me and asked how I liked his ideas! Several other businesses said they would be happy to make any changes I wanted AFTER I gave them a deposit and placed an order. Last-minute idea meant we needed some fun shirts quickly! Not only did they manage our 6 customized shirts within a few hours, but due to our own busy schedule, we had to plan it over the phone and leave some details to them.
