After long corporate delays out of my control, I could NOT find a vendor who was willing to make 32 acrylic stands in 5 days time. I spent hours searching online, chatting with different vendors, and even adjusting my design to make it less daunting for a vendor to complete. At the end of long day, I took a chance and called Shawn at Instant Imprints 1 minute before closing and I'm SO THANKFUL I did. Shawn took the time to listen to my story, even though they were closed for the night. He called his design team to double check if my request was even possible. After some back and forth with questions and design checks, he took my project on! Because they knew it was a rush project and I was really anxious, he and his staff even provided me daily updates to put me at ease. They looked great, got to box them exactly how I imagined and those who got their gifts were really surprised and excited about not getting a regular schmegular plaque. I had a wonderful experience the other day at Instant Imprints San Marcos: I was on my way to door-to-door knock (I'm a REALTOR®) when I needed a place near me to print some flyers. I spoke with Sam at the front desk and carefully explained to him what it is I desired: half size 5"x7" double sided color flyers. A quick approval from Tim on the formatting and design, and I was out the door in a matter of minutes! Sitting in the gas line at Costco I called to see if they could print 30 color flyers on demand. They could. So I headed over but realized I didn't have my USB device. Luckily they accepted an email with the document in the spot. But guess what, it had a formatting error. Well the young lady graciously fixed it for me! What a pleasant experience, I would highly recommend. While its true the advertised price on the banner was for a larger volume, they told me the price on the phone and mentioned the lower price was for a minimum amount of copies and more than I was requesting. read more

I had a few issues 1) 2 of my 5 shirts printed were miss colored - they offered nothing to help with that. 2) The person taking our order put in the wrong info we corrected and fixed it THEN they still put the wrong info on the Proof (they charged $25 for that - another issue why do we pay for a proof??) Yes I approved the proof but I was looking at the look not the info because that was corrected and correct on the invoice. Yet the shirts were printed with the WRONG INFO EVEN WHEN IT WAS CORRECT ON THE INVOICE! No offer to help with getting new shorts made / no help or even no offer of a discount. We are opening a new business next month and will take our large orders to another print shop in San Diego. Quiet disappointed. Have used them on multiple occasions. Dropped off some copies with a different set of employees yesterday. The guy tried charging me double than their advertised price and the usually price I paid for over 400 color copies. When I left we had agreed on the usual price. Come back this morning and they charged me still higher than what we had agreed. Tried talking to the person and he said it was what it was. So I left quiet disappointed but paid the invoice for double the price and left. Never using them again! read more

Had to get numbers put on a jersey last minute and I needed to match a font from other jerseys so no iron on college block letters. Instant Imprints did it in 1 day and I actually like the numbers better than her jerseys ordered through the supplier - they are softer. Phew! And the font matched perfectly. It was pricey for two numbers but for a one-off small job like this, others wanted to charge me double (another instant imprints) or wouldn't even take the small job. 5 stars for Instant Imprints San Marcos! First off, let me say the folks there were super helpful. They worked with us, gave us great printed color copies for our memorial for a dear friend that sadly passed away. Staff there got an A-. The company is another matter. Their street signs blast a message of "10 cents/color copies" When we got in there (and we made a special trip) got the ready to pay and expected to pay 10 cents/copy. They quoted 35 cents each? The sales guy didn't say the 10 cents applied only if you got 100 copies!?!?! He then said the "fine print" explains this. I went out and from the street we could barely make out some words. I took a photo of the sign and even if I enlarged it, it was still illegible. If you go there, bare in mind the 10 cents only applied if you order 100+ copies. The "find print" need to be bigger and legible from the street!!! Again the staff was great, that is an advertising issue that corporate needs to fix. I wont be going back. read more
