It's boring to get a snack without something to drink, so I usually get a jasmine milk tea with coffee jelly & boba (30% sweet so that I can taste the tea and the coffee jelly/boba is marinated in sweeteners so I don't need my milk tea to be any sweeter, but I get 50-75% sweet if I have a sweet tooth). This has now become my go to boba place in Stockton since I've moved here for school. I usually get the French Pudding Milk Tea or the Thai Milk Tea with boba, and I get soy milk instead of half & half. Their basil popcorn chicken is pretty good too (I get mine mild) and it's big enough to share with friends as long as you're not hangry :) The employees are nice and I usually don't have to wait too long for my order. They have board games available if you wanna hang around and pass the time but half the time I just take my orders to go because the tables fill up during busy hours (especially right after lunch and dinner time). You might also have to park farther away during busy times because they share the small lot right in front of the store with a bunch of other businesses in the area. I usually run into other students from my school when I go here, especially on Thursdays when we have fundraisers (thanks T4 for supporting our orgs!) or after exams when we just want to eat our feelings. Their location is nice because it's close to school and where I live, but also bad because it's too close to where I live so I come here too often :/ I'll probably have to thank T4 after I graduate and mention them in my speech because I don't think I'd get through school without the occasional (more like regular) T4 trip. I'm so happy Stockton finally has a boba/tea place that can compare to some of the Bay Area shops. From what I've tried so far everything was really good. The snacks are pre packaged into convenient little boxes so if you're on the go you can take it with. I wasn't a fan of the calamari just because it wasn't what I expected, but that doesn't mean it was bad! It just wasn't what I was looking for. Sweet potato fries and basil popcorn chicken were tasty enough. I'm currently addicted to the mango with sea salt cream, but I can't wait to try everything else out. I ordered 80% sweetness on all of mine since I don't like super sweet drinks and they were pretty perfect for me! Tried 5 drinks: Taro Pearl Milk Tea- My go-to order, and this one was super creamy with good taro flavor! It didn't have any weird powderiness, graininess, or lack-of-flavor like with some other taro drinks I've tried. THE best I've had so far...I WILL COME BACK JUST FOR THIS!! Milk Tea with Coconut Jelly- It's a really unique milk tea since they use a very subtle earl grey instead of the normal straight up black tea. I don't usually like earl grey because the orange oil is too strong of a flavor, but this one was really light and fruity. Chocolate Milk with Sea Salt Cream- Really salty creamy foam, make sure to stir! I would get the full sweetness level for this one. Nice real chocolate flavor and not like they just added Hershey's syrup! Potted Milk Tea- This one wasn't my personal favorite, not because of the flavor but the texture? It's nice when it's fresh and the cookie crumbles on top are crunchy and you can enjoy the earl grey tea with the Oreo cookie topping, but if you let it hang a while, it becomes kind of mushy. So unless you like letting your Oreos disintegrate and then sucking them up with a straw...drink this fast and it then it is quite good. Jasmine Milk Tea - Very creamy, light, and nice jasmine flavor without being too perfumey. Really good! Overall, I would go back...hands down. Didn't know they got a location here til a friend told me about it and they've opened for a few months. I must say they got so much different toppings esp my faves--mini bobas/pudding. Came across an unusual topping that I've never heard of---white pearl. I asked the guy who was taking my order and he was really nice enough to give me a little sample. A really refreshing and unique taste. A regular boba is very starchy and soft to chew; however, the white pearl (boba) has a somewhat a little snap/bouncy texture and is completely opposite. It taste very similar to a lychee fruit and it has a little sweetness to it. What more can I say about the best boba place (so far in Stockton) that has excellent customer service....it also has a variety of different choices/toppings to choose from. Not going to lie, T4 is the best milk tea in town currently (June 2018). Although that may change because Stockton will be getting Happy Lemon in the near future! The milk tea here is consistent with the other T4 locations throughout Cali. I usually get the panda milk tea (black and white boba). Punctuality does not exist in the perimeter of this store. They've never had my to go orders ready at the time they said it would be. I walked into the store today 5 minutes prior to the ETA, and i am now sitting here 10 minutes after it was supposed to be done. To make it worse, I saw my cups with the lychee jelly, prepped but the staff only focused on the orders that were made in person, so i watched my drinks for about 15 with no progress being made on them. A boba place relatively close to UOP! I have been to other T4 locations in the East Bay so was excited to find one in Stockton since there aren't many quality boba places. This place have a lot of drink options ranging from teas, milk teas, smoothies, etc. They also have a lot of snack options such as basil popcorn chicken, takoyaki, fries, etc. I wish they have paper menus to look at or a giant menu on the wall so customers can look at it easily. They do have "top drinks" plastered on the wall which is helpful for those who are new to the place or don't know what to get. I went with the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea 50% sweet and 30% ice, which was perfect! Love how you can adjust the sweetness and ice level for the drinks. They gave plentiful for the basil popcorn chicken in a small box! It was fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. I love how they package their snacks into small, brown boxes that's convenient for to-go. Prices are reasonable here. It was around $8 for both a large drink and the snack. Most drinks average around $3 for a regular and an extra $0.50 for an upgrade in size. Snacks average around $4-6. Very unsanitary place with employees trying to sweep anything negative about the place under the rug. I had found a dead fly in my drink and when I went to inform the employees, they did a terrible job of at least pretending to care, simply saying "sorry about that" following up with a shoulder shrug. I could have had at least a reimbursement of some sort. I even went to their Instagram page to address the situation in a respective manner, but they keep deleting all of my comments whenever I try to. I felt utterly disrespected to say at the very least. It is a shame that I have to compose this low rating review as I used to like going to T4, but at the end of the day I can not let this go unnoticed. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. They have a wide variety of drinks AND snacks. I enjoy the taro milk tea, but I prefer not to buy the smoothie version because it sort of loses its flavor. I also highly recommend the strawberry milk tea, it is perfection! I frequent this shop because I enjoy the layout of this particular shop. If I ever come alone, it is for a quick tea run. However, the true experience comes with bringing friends along and playing some of their games. We really like playing uno, there is 2 decks I believe (beware, after years the cards are now a little sticky). I have tried their Takoyaki fries, but I did not enjoy them; they taste sweet but with a hint of something "green" that I can't quite pinpoint(maybe lemongrass?). False advertisement. T4 has a stack of old menus next to the register which are NOT updated to their increased prices. BEWARE. We were caught off guard when our total was higher than we anticipated. I asked the cashier how come and he said, "That's just the price for those items," and showed me his screen. Obviously, if you program a price in the register it will show up that price when you ring up items. The point is the discrepancy between the menu and the register price. Studying our receipt we realized our bobas were also upped in price so we decided to talk to the manager. All he said was, "Oh yeah we increased our prices, the real menu is by the register (which is laminated, not to be moved, and only for those who live on the thrill of on-the-spot ordering)". Don't they understand that customers will continue to grab and order off these menus? When lines are long the only way you can look at the menu is if you grab the paper ones by the counter. The manager did not care nor did anything to address our dissatisfaction. Mind you we were a group of 8. I guess you can start charging us $50 per drink despite what your menu says since you don't know what's right or wrong. Your whole staff may also need a lesson in customer service. read more

If I could, I would give this place 3.5 stars because 3 stars is a little harsh but I don't think it's worthy of 4 stars yet... I actually never heard of T4 until I came to Stockton but everybody in NorCal seems to love it...honestly, the boba here is good for what you can find in the area (and trust me, it's very limited around here...) but it's definitely not comparable to anything you find in SoCal. The boba has a good texture and the popcorn chicken is very flavorful and crispy, but I think it depends on who makes your order. Last time I ordered from here, my drink was much sweeter than previous times and my popcorn chicken was a bit undercooked / too peppered. Being from SoCal we have boba everywhere!! So I didn't know what to expect when I came here. I was driving on my way back to SoCal from Lodi, and so happened to be near this boba store. The plaza was a big empty, and the boba store looked a little ghetto from the front. When you walk in...it's actually not ghetto at all haha. I ordered the panda milk tea, which I am really in love with. The thing I disliked was that it felt like I had to wait in line for a while maybe about 15 minutes. THEY USE NON-DAIRY CREAMER AS DEFAULT for all the vegans, lactose-intolerant or just dairy-weary chingus out there. But they also have soy milk if you prefer that. But the soy milk is a less creamy and more (not watery but...?) liquidy consistency. Their taro milk tea is amazing. My boyfriend loves their yogurt green tea. Their boba is decent as is their white pearls. We love their snacks as well. My friends love their basil fried chicken (with sweet chili sauce), and I love their fried tofu (I get it with sriracha sauce). They offer 2 sauces per snack order for to-go.
