I stopped by while I was in Stockton since I wanted to try a local non-chain boba shop. I ordered one of their specials, the loco contigo - rose milk tea with strawberry heart jelly, no ice, 25% sweetness. At the time, it was $6.75 cash ($5.75 plus I added tip) and they charged an extra $0.50 if the drink is under $6 and you use a credit card to pay. It was still fairly sweet even at 25% sweetness which is likely because of the rose flavoring plus the strawberry heart jelly, but I did like the jelly as a more interesting alternative to the standard boba. I like my tea stronger personally, but it was decent if not particularly memorable as boba goes. Thankfully the cup size is pretty large. read more

Their Green Island with jellies and boba and even just the plain green Thai tea is amazing. It's so creamy and flavorful. Even just a plain Jasmine milk tea from this location is better than I've had at most places. There is parking right in front and the interior is very cute. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, even if they are incredibly busy. The times that I have been, there has only been one person working and there have been a lot of customers, which you would expect with tea this good. They also have a lot of unique options here that you don't see at other places, including ice cream with boba as well as seasonal menus. Looking for a place to stop on our road trip we found Tea Daze. It had a good amount of reviews and my kids love scrolling thru yummy milk tea pics. Once we parked I thought the place was closed. The window were completely dark and blackened. Not sure for the ambiance or maybe to keep out the sunlight or perhaps to be more dazed when we came in from light to darkness. But No double check It is not closed. So here's what we ordered: Oreo Brûlée (5/5) Jasmine Milk tea w/lychee jelly (4/5) Dirty Milk (4/5) Roasted Oolong Milk w/boba (5/5) The Boba was super fresh, nice chew and each milk tea drinks was the right amount of sweetness and milky. If I drove by this place I would've thought it was closed down and out of business. All the windows are blacked out but they did have an open sign. When I walked in, it was super dark too like they were going for a lounge vibe but wasn't so upscale. They did have a cute neon sign though. They have a new ice cream drink menu and the Post Melona sounded delicious but I wasn't feeling like a blended drink. I decided on the Pandan Horchata with boba instead. It came out super vibrant green and pretty! It was definitely on the sweeter side and more like they just added cinnamon to milk, rather than true rice milk horchata. The drink was overall a bit grainy from that cinnamon so I'd probably prefer a different drink. But the boba was very fresh! They didn't ask if I wanted to adjust sweetness although I did see it on the menu later. I would definitely go less sweet here, seems like the drinks tend to be sweeter. I think there was only one guy working since he didn't start on my drinks until the lady after me finished ordering. My drinks were ready after 7 minutes which is not terrible at all but then again I was the only one in the shop at the time. It's not a very large shopping center so I imagine they don't get a ton of foot traffic. They have some fun flavored drinks here but they're also flavors you can find at other places. I'm glad I tried it since I'm rarely in the area but for now I think I'd try somewhere else new when I come back. read more

Quiet spot very close to UOP campus. The cashier was patient and had some drink recommendations as I've never been. Ended up going with the Hokkaido Milk Tea and it was flavorful and sweet even at 50% sweetness. Their boba was warm but seemed slightly tough to chew, I'm a sucker for chewy boba pearls. I am very picky with my boba being that there's 6 (soon to be 7) boba shops around my town alone... the Bay has made me super spoiled with boba and it's something I need to have around me. I was skeptical to give this place a try, but seeing a bagged infinity out front... that alone gives me a reason to check this place out. With a modern clean ambience of a shop and a few areas that are good for some drink pictures, there isn't all much sitting area to sit and chat- just good as a grab n go place. The names for the drinks are fun puns to me. With a simple clean menu and their specials, there's a decent amount of choices for most palates. There is possible substitution with almond milk (don't think there's oat milk), but there's a symbol for some that are made with milk or that can be substituted. The employee was able to give us a recommendation when we couldn't substitute an oreo drink with almond milk (mixed with regular milk). I tried the Tropical Paradise Fruit Tea. Generally I always try a basic milk tea for every new shop I visit to get a base taste for how their tea is... but I was craving something more light (no milk) this time. I'll definitely want to be back to give a normal milk tea a taste. The fruit tea with crystal/agar boba added to it was a light refreshing drink. There isn't all too much of a tea flavor, but I did get 75% sweet. With the added chunks of strawberry and mango in the drink, it was a nice light drink with good texture, tastes very fresh. The other drinks we got were Dirty Milk and a Mango Slush. The Mango Slush was generously topped with a lot of mango bits. Final Thoughts: Definitely want to be back to try other drinks. read more

I always order ahead either online or I make a phone call. my favorite drink from here is called wake me up which really helps to wake me up sometimes when I need it! The service of course is great. The owner is usually there helping around in the kitchen which is really nice to see, and he always seems so friendly and kind whenever I walk in! That decor is very beautiful too. This is my 2nd time coming here, the 1st time was not the best, but I decided to give them another chance, since it has been awhile. I saw on someone's review that they ordered a regular tea with crema, so I was excited to try their Jasmine Tea with Salted Cheese Crema and boba. The employee said they do not have that on the menu at all (maybe they used to have it?). I decided to try their jasmine milk tea again, so I asked if I can have a sample and one of the employees gave me one and it was actually good - it was floral and light, so I ordered one with boba. Ordered the Thai Tea with Salted Cheese Crema and honey boba (+ $0.50) for a total of $6. WAY TOO SWEET! Make sure to adjust the sweetness to probably 50% less sweet. I wanted to test the waters with exactly how they normally prepare it and found the waters to be full of sugar! It was so sugary that I even let the ice melt and it was still too much. It was a sad day because I couldn't finish my drink. The honey boba had a good consistency but also didn't have much of a honey taste; it was either the overly sugary drink that made me be unable to actually taste the boba or the boba just isn't coated very well in honey. Either way the boba was alright and the drink had an essence of coconut that I've never tasted in a thai tea which I enjoyed! Most likely won't be re-trying this drink because the cheese taste was nowhere to be found, but I'm interested in ordering their regular thai tea (so long as I can make it 50% less sweet or even 75% less!). I feel like they missed the mark on my drink because I'm used to cremas having a coffee-type lid so that you can sip it instead of being forced to shake and mix. Just my thoughts! Tea Daze, another spot I've decided to take a visit to while I'm here in Stockton, far away from my usual surroundings. It's located in a fairly small shopping center, where there are other places to eat, and a Sakura Japanese merch shop where you can visit if there's a wait for your drink. The decor inside is simple, clean, kind of have a night time atmosphere built up with the neon lights on the wall and dark colors all over. The person at the register was helpful and friendly, so no issues there. They do have a fair sized boba menu, with some specialty drinks marked on the menu, for example the black sugar drink, and some others, but also has the standard selection for those who aren't quite as adventurous to pick from. Prices here are good. Though I can't speak for how it fits in with the rest of the area, for the size of the cup (they only have one size I believe, and it's the taller cup like at ShareTea), it's not too pricey. I got a more standard drink, the Jasmine Green Milk Tea. The drink itself was good, fairly standard milk tea flavoring, so while it doesn't stand out necessarily, it doesn't have to, since it's made pretty well but was a tad on the watery side of things for my liking when it comes to my milk teas. The boba in the cup was also okay. A bit mushier than I would like, and not quite as QQ as it could've been. I was pretty happy when I saw honey boba on the menu, but when I actually tasted the boba it was quite underwhelming as it was too bland and does not scream honey boba. They were about to close though, so not sure if this is a result of that, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. Final verdict, if you're in the area, Tea Daze serves a good milk tea, but not the best I've ever had. Staff were friendly and conversational. The prices are affordable, and the bang for buck factor is good. The milk tea was a bit on the watery side of things, and the boba itself just did not live up to the standard of "honey boba", as there was little flavor and just really mushy and less the Q. Good option, but not sure if the best in this area as I've yet to try other places out. Review is more like 3.5 stars, but closer to the 3 than the 4 here. read more

I obviously like to try new boba shops so, here I go... I love the dark/black motif. It's sleek inside, but a little small for people to hang out (if they do). I ordered the Thai tea, no ice, 50% sweetness, and w/ boba pearls. There's only one size, which is pretty big for the affordable price. I liked it, but it tasted slightly watered down and 50% really isn't that sweet. Every place does their sweetness different so,never know what to expect. Since moving to the valley I've been searching for a boba place that would suffice my craving and I think I've found it. We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It was a Tuesday night so not to busy, two girls were working and were very helpful and kind. I ordered the black pearl tea and my husband ordered the taro nut milk tea. The taro nut milk tea was out of this world and my husband who is very picky loved it. The black pearl tea was good but after turning the taro tea I decided to trade mine for a taro nut tea. There's only one size, but you get to decide the sweetness and the amount of ice. The menu was huge, and even had some small eats as well. The inside was clean and very modern. I found this boba shop with some great signature drinks and decided to drive 2 hours to try them! After trying two of their drinks, I'd have to say that I was not disappointed with this place. The Matcha Party is a nice matcha milk tea thats comes with matcha boba and green tea jelly, but for some reason they left out the green tea jelly. But it was good without it so I didn't complain. I would recommend this drink at regular or 75% sugar level. The Hot Summer is a fruity drink with lychee jelly and aloe vera. The mango and pineapple fruit syrups along with the toppings were quite overwhelming after a while so I'd recommend getting this one at 50% sugar level with less toppings.
