Update:: The store manager Bryan contacted me after I made a formal complaint with their Corporate offices. I commend his efforts for resolving the issue. He promptly called and asked what was the issue at hand once informed he stated that he would call back after checking into the matter. End results were that I was indeed double charged and a immediate refund was issued. Thank you TA for a positive resolution. My advice to all would be to be proactive and to do your due diligence. Do not let others take advantage of a situation simply because you feel that there's no recourse. read more

Average medium size location, shower pressure was so powerful that I was standing in 2 inches of water. I walked over from the Loves that was as equal size where I was parked. Came back after my load and scaled my load going to NE and while waiting in a short line I saw a new cashier tell a customer in loud voice "just a minuet I just got here let me get settled in". The drive in the other line and his cashier noticed the conversation. I shruged it off and steped up telling her "separate receipt from the drink for the scale" and she mumbeled something and pointed to the other cashier. I took it as needing to get the print out from the other cashier and said "shall I shuffle over to her"? She aggressivley and loudly said I'm going to get your print out when I'm done with this", to my dismay I told her to "take a breath her shift just started". I'm normally not the type of person to do reviews of any sort but I guess there always a time to start, alright I'm a regular here everytime I'm in Huoston I always stop here to add fuel or to spend the night and even for a 30 min break, first off got to the travel stop at 11:00 pm went inside to get some chips and refreshments while I was looking to see what caught my eye walking around checking out the store not 5 min pass as I open one of the fridges to get a refreshment I look back as I grab it I see the security coming up to me as if he wanted to say something but he sees that's I'm picking a drink and once he gets to me walks back honestly feel as if I got profiled. Once I finished picking my chips and all I walk towards the cash register and paid my things and went off (have nothing to say about the cashier she was nice and polite). I get to my truck and security approaches me once again telling me I can't park where I'm parked yada yada I was like alright cool I moved, got to a place where I was in no one's way and no harm he come at me again but this time threatening me to call DOT and all I come out to explain the situation of what's going on as I'm getting closer to his truck I get a really strong odor of marijuana I procede to tell him that I was only gunna be there for my 30 min break eat some chips and drink my soda he starts going into a power trip I don't know what's going on if it's new security or what point he was trying to give off but I honestly think that wasn't the appropriate way to go forward with a customer don't know if it was a power trip that he went thru or if he was just trippin over the weed he was smoking. read more

Bay town service dept is the worst. Very incompetent and I will never stop here again for service. I stopped fueling at all TA stops years ago and now they can keep it all. Next time I'll wait till I need roadside assistance and then I'll call either pilot or loves. read more

We have never had any issues here with parking and we have never had bad food here and the ladies and everyone serving the food here have all be nice...they do need help in the shower area though with getting the towels washed up because when we shower at other places we always get an extra set of towels. The level of service in your restaurants is so horrible. The treatment of patrons in your restaurants is dismal. The caliber of individual that you hire for these jobs is so low it's no wonder. I just ordered the "holiday meal" at your TA in Bayport. First of all it took 5 minutes for the waitress to come take my drink order. During the entire time I was sitting there some girl was mopping around me, moving chairs, and just being generally annoying. It was only 9:00PM can't you mop later on? The waitress never explained to me that your holiday meal was being served as a buffet. I sat there for twenty minutes waiting for it. When I asked her where dinner was she just looked at me like I was crazy. So logically, once I knew it was a buffet, I went to inspect it, as I would have done before ordering, had I known it was a buffet to begin with. During my inspection, I decided that I didn't want it. Your serving shredded turkey. Who wants that? During this whole thing, the security guard was called over to take a look at me. I never once raised my voice or got out of line in any way. I just wanted to change my order. Please don't call a guy with a gun over to me cause I want to change my order. This kind of stuff happens time and time again at TA/Petro. Your restaurant wouldn't last five minutes in the real world. The only reason you exist us that truck drivers have no where else to park. Anyway, I think I'm done eating at TA. Flying J Denny's at least give a shit about the people they serve and the job they're doing. read more

Shop was busy but quick, squeezed me in. Watch the quote and rates. They'll charge you an hourly rate and then a flat rate on top of it, double dipping, so one star for the shop. Everything else seemed ok. Overall not the best, not the worst truck stop. read more

I came here for some minor trailer work and waited over 5 hours to get repaired then waited 25-30 minutes for the inspection sticker. The truck stop had a slew of wierdos. I had a bum come to my husband and I asked for money to get Similac. Bums are all over. Oh & both ATMs were broken so no ATMs at all. Store was dirty. Creepy truck drivers followed me around definitely don't walk around by yourself ladies it's got that creepy feel. You've been warned! read more

Second time here in a week. Enjoyed it alot. It's clean professional and well stocked. The ladies in the restaurant was awesome. Good was great. They were right there if needed and very helpful. I highly suggest the restaurant to refuel after a long days drive. read more
