You stay in your car and enjoy a thorough washing, polishing and spray on tire dressing of the outside of the vehicle via a drive-thru car wash. Strong jets of water and generous amounts of wash & polish help you drive-out with a nicely cleaned vehicle! After the carwash you can pull into a vacuuming stall to use one of complimentary vacuums to vacuum your entire interior! There are trash bins available to easily discard any unwanted trash. Also they used blue tape to secure the back wiper blade and other moving parts to keep it held in place. There are microfiber towels available for purchase for $2. One-time glass cleaning cloth available for $1, one-time use drying cloth for a $1 and also dash dressing and car air fresheners available for purchase as well. Tommy's carwash in humble Tx. 12303 Will Clayton Parkway . As of today, January 16, 2026, I cancelled my membership because my claim was denied by James. I have a brand new 2025 Toyota Tundra which had only 5 miles on speedometer when purchase. There were no scratches any where on my truck until I started going through this particular carwash. James called me January 15, 2026 as it pertained to my claim. He said that he will review me driving through the Carwash. The very next day James called to let me know that my claim was denied. Basically saying Tommy's Car wash is not responsible for the scratches.That was his decision and my follow up decision was for James to cancel my membership while on the phone. I will go back to old fashion "hand wash" facilities. Thankfully they are still available. After reading other yelp reviews, it seems as though I am not the on unsatisfied (ex) member. This place is really lack of customer service! Came here during a lunch break for a quick car wash, unfortunately there's a customer complainting about the quality of the car wash, had manager over and argued for about 3 mins, manager walked away and let the car park at the booth to block the entrance. Cars are lined up. Other customers got ignored, the Lady at the booth isn't helping at all, claim it's not her fault and she's not doing anything, and you guys could leave..... So they turned away at least 6-7 cars/customers. Get some customer service training, customer complaints happen all the time, pull the car aside, solve the problem privately and keep the business running. Why could they care, it's not their business? Inconvenience only cause paid customers. Time to find somewhere to clean my car! read more

I used to love this car wash. But now, zero stars. I won't be back. My partner had his back wiper broken off one time. We went back, the owner happened to be there, ordered the new wiper; went back a few days later-problem solved. I had my antenna broken off in the car wash 4th of July weekend and have been getting the run around from Cedric ever since. He says he'll be there tomorrow, but then says he's not going to be there. Says he'll leave the replacement at the cashier desk, he doesn't. As I scroll thru all the bad reviews I see I'm not the exception. Their not so gentle equipment ripped my wiper arm because the operator felt like not putting tape on the wiper arm like every other car wash does. It's simple, cheap, fast (I think I spent less than 20 minutes there total), and convenient. For someone who parks on a street full of trees on either side every day/night, this was definitely worth it. I'm not looking for the super saiyan, wax-on-wax-off, find a spec of dirt with a magnifying glass type of detailing since my car gets dusty and fully of sappy leaves and bird poop within a day, so this place was worth the whole $14 for their "most expensive" wash. You drive up to the pay booth, pay for the type of wash you want, drive up to the entrance where someone guides your tires onto the tire track, and follow the simple directions (put your car in neutral, etc.), then sit back as the colorful suds, high pressure washer, and all the other magical cleaning things do it's job. Toward the end, read the simple directions again and slowly drive off the rail and either exit right, or turn left to use the vacuums. There's no getting out of the car at all if you're willing to let your car air dry by driving away, but if you're trying to make sure the insides are just as clean, you might need to sit and wait for a few minutes to get a vacuum spot. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the one vacuum spot I ended up in didn't have a working vacuum. I also didn't want to wait for another spot to open up, so I left my car as is. Again, if you're looking for a quick, cheap, and convenient wash that takes under 20 minutes, and aren't afraid of driving out a bit wet, then come here! If you're looking for that $200 detailed/wax spot, go elsewhere. I know I'll be frequenting this spot more! read more

Went on Saturday. Saw cars coming out on driver's side wet and soapy. Informed lady taking payment, she said they had issue an hour ago but it's fixed. Also told guy operating the wash. Long story short, came out... shocker... car wet and soapy on driver's side. Told woman who took payment, again. She said there is nothing they can do about it. I called after and no one answered. Everyone who went there on Saturday came out with wet and soapy car and there's nothing they can do about it? And they knew it was broken? Bad customer service. I've been coming here for years. I've been warned by many people not to come here, that the wash broke their front bumper or other parts of the car or it didn't clean well and there is no management to help or good customer service. Yesterday this happened to me! I went to get a wash yesterday and my car went through the wash and it was dirtier than when I went through. I told the person working there and he said he can't do anything about it and he cursed and was so rude. I emailed the management and all they said was "no rewashes". Staff is incredibly mean. As such, I will not be returning. They should not treat customers in the manner I was treated. After months of not using my car due to shelter in place, it was time my car got its washing. I've driven by Tommy's Express Car Wash several times in the past and the place always had a long line. So when I drove by and saw the line was fairly not as long, I decided it was time! There's three different tiers for their car wash. From the basic car wash for $7 to the extreme shine for $12. I opted in for the $12 and let me tell you, it was worth the difference. You can visibly tell the difference in the shine of tires and the brightness of my rims. After the wash, you can take advantage of the self-vacuum. It does get a little crowded in the lot and it could be a little difficult getting out but thankfully, there's usually a team member that helps control of the traffic to make sure you are in and out of the premises efficiently. read more

Tommy's Express car wash is a drive-through joint that provides three levels of wash with lots of checkmarks next to each more expensive car wash, which I can't ever tell the difference so I always get the middle price one which is $13. You stay in your car and drive through to a garbage receptacle where you can throw your things out before you enter the wonderful world of a very short, but fascinating ride through the tunnel of love. At least that's what your car would say if your car could talk. Once you see the light filtering through the tunnel, you drive to an open bay where, and this is the hard part, you have to dry off the remnants of water on your car and they provide powerful vacuum hoses on each side of your car that might pick up a small dog or object if you are not careful. There is no one to critique so I'm giving myself four stars as I did get out of the car and remarkably had a yellow Chamois or Shammy towel in my car. You can also purchase them at the kiosk when you enter. I am sure if you pronounce it with the Chamois sound they will charge double the amount. Back to the wash, I vacuumed with the suction hose both sides of the front and back seats of my automobile but refrained from vacuuming my trunk because I have about 1,000 plastic bags for shopping that I always forget to take into the market when I shop leading to this grotesque collection accumulating in my hatch back trunk. If the suction hose went back there it would immediately grab a couple of the bags, seize up and die a horrible death leaving me to blame the vacuum hose for its untimely demise. As you can see from the pictorial study of the car wash, the ride is extremely entertaining regardless of the outcome of the car wash. Perhaps if I put more effort into my portion of this process I would have given Tommy's five stars, or if Tommy had served his delightful burgers here. read more

This place is a joke don't waist your time or your money, I have been here a few times and the last couple times they don't even have soap they literally wash your car with just recycle water and and dry brushes I got many scratches on my car , I was very upset and told the kid at the cashier about it and his response was if you want soap GO TO A REGULAR CAR WASH, I then told him this is not how you treat customers and asked for his manager and he said we ain't got managers just deal with it. Well I have to say, this sort of car wash arrangement is kind of perfect in these times. I can see why people line up. 3 levels of wash: $7, $10, $12. You stay in your car, get in line (moves at a decent speed), pay the cashier, then a couple of guys help you navigate your car onto the rails in neutral and off you go. Wash is quick but did the trick, then you round the corner to their free vacuum station, the only time you get out of your car. Signs list an unmonitored 5 min limit which most adhered to so there wasn't too much of a backup of cars. This was perfect for days like today when I needed a quick fix. Guys seemed friendly and only complaint was the entrance can be a bit of a cluster with a combo of cars coming off of Robertson vs. ones off the street itself. Had a guy cut me off then apologize but given how quick the wash was, I didn't really lose much time. Thumbs up. read more

This used to be my go-to car wash spot. But after multiple price increases, zero noticeable operational improvements, and worsening conditions of the vacuums, I will not be returning anymore. The basic level car wash now costs $10. And though they state at the cashier booth that your car will come out "spotless", I can assure you that my car has never come out spotless. In fact, bring a towel, because you'll need to finish the drying by hand. Pretty solid value for the price and convenience. The wash is super quick and the vacuums are self service, so perfect for a quick clean at any time. The detailing might not be as good as some other places, but it's hard to beat the convenience. They have three levels of washes ranging from $7-12. The mid tier one ($10) worked for me. My car was pretty filthy after almost a year of not getting it washed, and it came out sparkling afterwards, with only a few small spots of really caked on dirt that didn't bother me. I would recommend bringing a microfiber towel to wipe down your car afterwards, as the dryer isn't 100% effective and there are some water droplets left. Each vacuum stall has vacuums on either side to make it easy to reach all parts of your car. They don't have the greatest suction, but they do just fine for getting the majority of crumbs cleaned up (some smaller particles will be left over, though). The only annoying factor is how busy it gets. Although the line for the wash isn't super long, waiting for a vacuum stall can get annoying, so I'd suggest going during off-peak hours. read more

Car washes are pretty much hit or miss. I've read so many reviews about people having their cars damaged, etc. In all of my years of going to car washes, I guess I've just been lucky. Tommy's is a pretty good wash, considering it's "down and dirty" (no pun intended) and you sit in the car as it goes through. The wash felt a bit too quick... maybe they didn't rinse the car a second time... not sure but it just felt too quick going through. I opted for the $12 wash and one thing this wash did is one of the best jobs of applying tire dressing. I love shiny tires.. it gives the car a very clean sleek look and I was very happy with how that was done. After the wash, they have several stalls with very good vacuums you can use. Other washes have vacuums with either low power, or they are broken altogether, so nice job here. The car was still fairly wet afterwards, so I had to use my own towel to finish the job. I also fold my mirrors in when I go through a wash, and this one must have been so strong that it folded them back out. Overall, I was pleased and I'll be back. read more

Pros: -It's fast, you don't have to leave your car and wait in a lobby or wonder the streets for half an hour like many of the other places. -The Machine does a fantastic job at cleaning the exterior of your car. -It's cheap, like amazing value. Cons: The machine broke my back (hatchback) wind shield wiper. I suspect something has changed recently with them. The machines are now much more powerful. The staff seem different. Maybe they forgot to tape down my back wiper. I'm not sure why this time my wiper broke, when so many times before it was fine. Either way, I can't really justify going to a car wash that potentially could rip my back wiper off or knock off a mirror. It's just not worth the risk. I wouldn't even imagine trying to get re-reimbursed based on all the other reviews. Such a shame. Truly was the most amazing car wash ever! Until my car got damaged. read more

Wow, what a place. It is definitely a quick wash place, you drive up this pathway and pay with the guy at the little booth, then you drive right into the wash. The wash is quick, and then you follow the path over to the vacuum stalls. Like every express or gas station car wash, your car will not be dry when you exit the wash, not even close. So that's why you pull into a vacuum stall and use your own towels to finish drying off your car. These vacuums are super powerful too, more so than the many many other quick car washes I've been to. Overall this is a good quick car wash for very cheap. This place is crazy popular too, as I was exiting there were 5 cars waiting in line to pay. read more
