The gas is cheaper than surrounding gas stations, which is great. But, they need to get their card…read morereaders at the pumps fixed. I tried 3 different pumps and they wouldn't read my card. Other people were having the same problem, as I saw a couple of people moving to different pumps. And I could hear the card readers rejecting their cards at several pumps (it makes a specific sound when it rejects the card). I've had this issue several different times. It's ridiculous, just get them fixed! Also, I once went to pump gas. When I pulled up to the pump, it looked like someone had prepaid for gas and didn't use it, it was like $15 I think. I looked around to see if maybe someone was trying to pull up to the pump, thinking maybe someone had accidentally paid for the wrong pump. But I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. So I did what I thought would be the right thing and cancelled that transaction at the pump. Once it was cleared, I inserted my card, it was approved and I started pumping. I filled my tank, and it costed like $35, give or take. I was about to leave when the attendant came out and started yelling at me and accusing me of stealing gas that someone else paid for. I explained what happened and that I cancelled the prepaid amount and paid with my card but he kept saying that I stole the gas, and was demanding that I give him the $15. Mind you, if I had used the $15 that were prepaid, it would stop pumping at $15, everyone knows that. And you can clearly see at the pump that I paid for $35 of gas. Plus, I had the transaction in my bank account to prove that I had just paid that amount of gas. Which I could instantly see by pulling up my bank app. Might I add, that entire time, no one ever showed up to claim the pump. Like wtf? I think it was a mistake the attendant made, maybe he put the money in the wrong pump. But that's not my problem. How was I supposed to know? I did my part by cancelling it before paying for my gas. If he didn't know how to fix his mistake that's his problem. I'm not gonna pay for his mistake. Now, I usually don't yell at people but humiliating me in front of other people and accusing me of being a thief is crazy. So yeah I may have went off on him a little bit.

Took my car to Burnside Automotive after a car accident. They were decent with communication during the process and got it done in a reasonable time frame. If it was just body/frame fixes, I'd have no complaints there. The problem came right after pickup. They power washed the car before handing it back (which is standard, I get it), but when I got to work and looked closer, the paint on the hood and front areas was chipping and flaking off in spots. It looked like the high-pressure wash blew off sections where the adhesion wasn't strong enough--paint peeled away easily, exposing primer or bare spots. This happened basically from their own cleaning, not from me driving to work that was only 10 mins away. I went back after work . They checked it and accuse me of picking the paint and refused to take responsibility even though it was their wash that caused the chipping. No offer to touch it up, repaint the affected areas, or even cover. Just brushed it off and sent me on my way. Felt really disappointing after otherwise solid work on the accident repair. If you're dealing with a bad crash and need reliable body work, they might do okay structurally. But for owning up when their process damages it? Not impressed. I'll be going elsewhere for any touch-ups or future needs. Take before/after pics of any cleaning, and consider a shop that stands behind the full job.

The mechanic I used only said that the battery was not charging and probably bad from the manufacturer, not that it was installed incorrectly. At the time he came, I had not driven it in awhile and had some issues with squirrels. But I had it fixed and drove regularly since and confirmed with a local shop. I called wondering if I could have him come out to fix it (I thought labor was covered under warranty). He said it wasn't and started saying that he has never had issues in 10 years and he wouldn't come out because gas was too expensive. I am willing to pay someone (including him) to fix it, but opted not to go with him because he was speaking unkindly and accusing the other mechanic of being wrong. I am disappointed in the service and follow up. I would suggest going to a local shop instead of someone who travels.

We called a couple of towing services, I even tried AAA and they were non-responsive. I called Johnny at KB. He looked the situation over and towed us from Tracy to Walnut Creek. This was late at night and we were just happy to be home He took extra time to make sure he didn't scratch the bottom of the car or any parts of the car. I drive a Porsche so I was concerned about that and he was very good about that. Francisco's Tow of Turlock was dispatched we were informed by my auto insurance who took the call for help. Francisco's Tow was the third, yes I said third tow truck company dispatched by my auto insurance and he was the only business that actually arrived over the 4 hours we sat in the Chevron gasoline station off the freeway on the Mossdale exit waiting to be taken home. I was 100% satisfied with Francisco's work. He also unloaded my SUV fairly deep into our driveway and under the area where the carport's roof is. He did this so swiftly I didn't even see it happy. He is skilled. It was after 10 o'clock in the evening and we'd been there since 6 o'clock. Exhausted, thirsty, and worn out from constantly having to phone the insurance back to report the other two tow truck companies never showed. Once Franciso was dispatched he was there in under 30 minutes, apologized for our predicament, and moved so swiftly to move my SUV onto his custom shiny black state-of-the-art tow truck that within no more than 10 minutes all of us were ready to roll home to Turlock. He was SO super nice, courteous, intelligent, knowledgable, and sincere. He was gentle with my vehicle which I appreciated. He truthfully was. He is my go-to now if I have anything to say about it. The inside of the cab was roomy and sat us all; a total of 3 people and my itty bitty dog. Clean chilled bottle water was offered too; nice touch! Super clean inside and out with no rubbish anywhere. The outside and inside of the truck and dash area are pretty and the ride is smooth. Wait until you see the attractive lights on the outside of this machine; it's really something special.
