    Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with sales department manager. My phone calls were not returned, not even as a courtesy. I've been bringing my coach for repairs and service for over 10 years to Don's, but the way I was dismissed by the sales manager is unacceptable and sheds a very dim light on customer service. I was advised my coach was too old for consignment consideration. I accepted that decision and moved on. I did receive a call back from Mike Tangle who asked for pictures. Unbeknownst to me, those pictures were shown to JJ who again said "too old." LOL ... Anywho, communication barrier for sure, I didn't. If JJ would've called me in the first place, I wouldn't even be writing this edit to my review.

    Everyone at Don's from the manager to the finance office to the parts and service department has been so incredibly helpful. Our trailer took longer than expected to get here and they were giving us updates on the status continuously. The parts and service department were very knowledgeable and thorough on our walk thru. The first day we had our trailer the jack blew a fuse and the service manager told us to bring it in to fix. At the same time also put in our rear view camera. We are very pleased with the service we have received and will definitely recommend them to other family and friends.

    Excellent service. My Tiffin motor home required a new engine and I was required to take it to a Ford dealership in Ceres. Just when the engine replacement was complete, the RV center in Gilroy, where I was due to conconsign a sale of the Tiffin, changed ownership and disregarded my previous commitment with them for sale. I was in a panic, because I did not know where to take this motor for sale. I sent out numerous emails, phone calls to a number of RV dealers for assistance. Fortunately, Don's RV responded quickly. Once I sent all relevant details to them, they were ready for me when I brought in the motor home for a consignment sale. I will say Don's gave me excellent service, took care of all necessary repairs on the Tiffin and did a very excellent job marketing and selling this excellent motor home. Don priced it well and returned sale proceeds in a very rapid manner. You could do very well to do business with Don's RV@

We walked in on Memorial Day holiday without an appointment and was greeted by the sales rep Sal. He was great and knowledgeable and got us to the exact type of units we were looking for. Within 30-45 minutes we all fell in love with the same trailer, a 2026 keystone bullet. It had everything and the price seemed fair, almost too good to be true. After picking the trailer out we went back to run numbers and do financing with Manny, he was laid back and understanding and made things as easy as he could. Then came the first issue, my friend wanted to break even and not roll over negative equity into his new trailer and they were way off from accomplishing that. One of the owners came in and tried to negotiate and was rude and argumentative and unwilling to work with us despite having to deals on the table. Unfortunately I still wanted the trailer and decided to proceed with the purchase. After I finalized all the paperwork then the owner came back and wanted to make the deal. Let me mention that my sales person said that if I had the trailer hitch that they would install it as part of the purchase. This is where my biggest issue is. As someone in sales myself you don't make a promise to a customer that you can't or won't live up to. So after coming back a little over a week later to pick up my trailer and do the walk through I met Sako, another super laid back worker that was thorough and understanding. Once I explained what the sales rep said he immediately let me know that I was probably going to be charged and that they never do that for free as part of a sale. He did try everything to see if he could get it installed like I was promised to no success. Now I'm furious cause now I'm getting an extra charge I was not expecting. He went as far to ask the other owner who is not the original one we dealt with and he to was argumentative and unwilling to make a customer happy after they got their sale. I understand his point about liability and being sued which I respect but the unwillingness to bend and work with making your customer was happy over a 20 minute install and instead charging a full hour for labor is absurd. If they are treating paying customers like this imagine how the poor people that work here are getting treated when there's no other punching bags around. Needless to say I will not refer anyone here after today's experience and I do not recommend this business solely on how we've been treated through this process. Cliff notes - beware of poor customer service Manny and Sako were amazing The owners are terrible and don't care about happy customers as long as they make their money

It also helped that a friend had sold several Travel Trailers via Independent RV with positive experiences. If you've had the chance to do researches on consignment dealers from Modesto to Sacramento, you already know that there are several out there with mixed reviews. Which only makes things more confusing. Although we had never met Stacy before, she was very easy to work with while adding no pressure for us to go with them. She was quick to return my calls, and answered all of my questions. When I dropped the trailer off, I worked with Ed. He was just as good as Stacy, making dropping off the trailer very easy. I never felt as if I dropped off my trailer to a dealership that was going to try to "rip me off" with fees and unnecessary service. Here's the good part, Independent RV was able to sale both my trailer and a friend of mine's trailer in two weeks (both of them). On top of that, they got me my full asking price. If you are looking to sale your RV, I highly recommend Independent RV.

We were able to easily negotiate with them regarding price and a few minor safety related repairs. Any 21 year old vehicle is going to need some attention. The main issue is the driveshaft carrier bearing needs replacement and a bad front brake rotors. They agreed to replace these items at no additional charge to us !!!! That is unheard of these days. They have the rv now and we should have it back soon. They are focused on safety and customer satisfaction. I am totally impressed by the integrity shown by them.

    This review is for the service department…read more After purchasing the trailer, we had a run around of information on when it was to be delivered to the facility. This is where the frustration began. There was some pretty significant damage to part of the wrap during transport, and that was fine, it was going to be getting fixed... we were told it was ordered and given an approx. date. That date came and apparently it was not ordered, but another part we needed was. To get that taken care of was beyond frustrating. Upon picking it up, another part we needed was not ready, so again we would have to drive down and drop it off. Even after this last drop off, after making the appointment because we were called and told the part was ready, the part is not ready and we have to wait some unknown time for it to "hopefully" show up. Each time we have brought our RV in for maintenance/ to get a repair, we have never been greeted. As well when we went to pick it up. Each time we have stood inside and not one person has asked if we needed help or even said they would be right with us. Most times there were at least 2 people not with someone, and many other staff walking in and out. When dropping it of, most staff sat at their desks starring out as we unhooked- it would have been better worth our time, if we could have been checked in while we unhooked. (We even received a call to do a survey about how service went and we did not have the trailer finished yet, so it is hard to give feedback for that.) We had several more conversations with the service department and a few more survey calls which, because we did not have the service complete, we could not give feed back properly. Upon our last pick up, after all the parts had arrived, we finally had a better encounter. I completely understand that they are busy with so many trailers to check in, work on and check out, but it would be nice to be have a little more support when showing up.
