A pretty nice and spacious addition to Plantation Walk. The staff here was very friendly and when my friend and I walked into the cigar shop, the women gave us a couple recommendations. Once we made our pick we grabbed a couple seats and kept the tab open. They were friendly and gave us the option of using a torch or matches and cane to check on us every so often. Prices are very reasonable and they have choices for everyone here. I like the design of the place and they had a ton of options for drinks. I do wish the side seats had a little table because we had nowhere to put out drinks that we got. My only complaint about this place was the DJ they had absolutely blasting music. I understand it's a Friday night but they could definitely have the person lower the music because it's a relatively small place and it was way too loud. The DJ also had flashing lights that were incredibly annoying and not needed. The bathroom was super clean and they even offered mouthwash which is a nice little touch!

Im not a cigar smoker, but this comfy elegant full liquor bar and cigar store is very inviting and located at the Plantation Walk. My husband and friend stayed inside to watch a sports game and I sat outside and relaxed on their patio where you can drink, smoke or chill.

Tabacon Cigars & Spirits is exactly what South Florida needed--a classy, well-designed cigar lounge with a great selection, a solid bar, and an inviting atmosphere. I recently visited, and from the moment I walked in, I knew this was a place I'd be coming back to. First off, the ambiance is top-notch. The interior design is modern and upscale, yet still cozy and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, enjoy a quality cigar, and have a good conversation without feeling rushed. The crowd here is also great--mature, relaxed, and social, which adds to the overall vibe. The humidor, while not the biggest I've seen, has a well-curated selection of cigars. They stock high-quality options, and I had no trouble finding something I'd enjoy. I went with a My Father's cigar, which paired perfectly with my drink--a Zacapa rum on a large cube of ice. My friend had an Oliva cigar with an Old Fashioned, and he was just as impressed. The bar itself is another highlight. It's well-stocked with a great variety of spirits, and the bartenders know what they're doing. Whether you're into whiskey, rum, or classic cocktails, you'll find something to suit your taste. One of the best features here? The massive TVs--perfect for watching sports while you unwind with a cigar. Whether it's a big game or just a casual night out, this is the ideal spot for it. Service was also a standout. The waitresses were super nice, attentive without being intrusive, and really helped elevate the experience. It's always a plus when the staff makes you feel welcome and takes the time to ensure you're having a great time. Another thing I really appreciated is the location. Tabacon is in a big plaza with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, plus lots of parking--which is a rare find in South Florida. No hassle trying to find a spot, so you can focus on enjoying your time here. Overall, Tabacon Cigars & Spirits is a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys a good cigar and a well-crafted drink in an elegant setting. Whether you're looking for a relaxed weekday unwind or a lively weekend hangout, this place delivers. I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful new Cigar Bar at Plantation Walk. They have a cigar room with a good amount of cigars for sale to smoke in the lounge which has many tables and sports on TV. They do not serve food but they have a full liquor bar. Its a place to relax, have a cocktail, socialize and smoke a good stogie.

One of the most elegant cigar lounges I've been to in FL. Visiting the nearby area and a great find. Good service, good sticks for good prices and nice outdoor seating. Will be back and I highly recommend for cigar smokers to come smoke one in here.

We decided to stop in after having dinner close by on a Friday night. What a fun vibe! The DJ had the place rocking. The cocktails made by Vanessa were on point. I had an espresso martini and my husband had an old fashion. Both were excellent! My husband also got a cigar which he enjoyed! Just what the suburbs need. We will definitely be back!

I don't smoke but my husband is a big fan of Cigars and Old Fashioned so I accompanied here one time. We had actually passed by the week before it opened and the owner saw us looking through the glass and invited us in to give us a tour. He was very friendly and gave us a tour even if the VIP room. He was so nice he had me sit down on one of the extremely expensive seats in the vip room so that I can have the experience... and let me tell you... it was very nice. SERVICE: My husband took me along his second time and as soon as he came in the very nice bartender greeted him by his name!! I mean, talk about attention to detail and customer service!! All the nice/comfortable seats were occupied and only the reserved area was available. We are not members here but the kind manager offered to sit us in the reserved area until the members came. He literally went above and beyond with that one. Another bartender came and greeted us by our last name and took our order. I was shocked at how detailed oriented these people were. DECOR: Exceptional. The owner has a great eye. You can clearly tell that he spent a good chunk in this place. EXTRA: It did have like a few seats in front of the store for anyone that wanted fresh air but the outside doesn't give you that luxurious feel like the inside does. My only complaint being a non smoker is that although they had good ventilation my sinuses were a little sensitive. But this is normal for me and I'm not use to the smoke. But I still highly recommend this place. It is luxurious. The drinks were fantastic and the service was out of this world!

    The gorgeous bar!

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

I got there around 6pm right in time for happy hour before it ended at 7. As a vegetarian, I'd honestly been avoiding this place for no real reason, but I was pleasantly surprised. The truffle mushroom tacos on the happy hour menu were excellent, along with the yuca fries and other vegetarian options. I had two tacos, two margaritas, and an order of yuca fries and let me just say, the portions are very filling. One taco would've honestly been enough. Everything was fresh and flavorful: mushrooms, roasted corn, vegan cheese, sauce, and cilantro. It really didn't need anything except maybe a little spice. Service was excellent from start to finish. I can confidently say they delivered on one of those things, the experience. Unfortunately, the food felt like a failed attempt to escape... an escape room. Let's start with what absolutely works. The location is stunning. Truly breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is elegant, and the setting makes you feel like you have unlocked a premium level of Fort Lauderdale nightlife. The service is upscale and unhurried. No one rushes you, no one pressures you, and you are encouraged to linger and enjoy the moment. From a vibe perspective, you are winning. The drink menu is limited, but what they offer is top notch. Well crafted, balanced, and enjoyable. Think of the drinks as the first puzzle you solve successfully. Confidence is high at this point. Then the food arrives, and this is where the escape attempt starts to fall apart. We began with the bruschetta, which was absolutely dominated by balsamic. Not gently accented. Not thoughtfully drizzled. This was a full-scale balsamic ambush that completely overwhelmed the dish. Puzzle one failed. Next came the octopus. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Textbook execution. Unfortunately, the flavor was nowhere to be found. Every bite was completely hijacked by the beans in the dish, leaving the octopus feeling like a background prop in its own plate. Puzzle two failed, morale dropping. Then came the calamari and mussels. Once again, the seafood was cooked properly, but flavor had clearly escaped through a hidden exit. Bland, forgettable, and confusing in how something prepared this well could taste like so little. Puzzle three failed, clock ticking. The fourth dish was the caprese salad, which somehow managed to swing in the opposite direction of the bruschetta. The tomatoes tasted like they were fresh from a grocery store shelf. The balsamic barely showed up this time, as if it had used up all its energy earlier. The mozzarella sat there watery and bland, contributing nothing and offering no clues. Final puzzle failed. Escape attempt unsuccessful. By the end of the meal, I felt like I had just spent two hours in an escape room where everything looked incredible, the staff was friendly, the room design was flawless, but none of the puzzles worked and you never actually escaped. Overall, Escape Rooftop Bar delivers breathtaking views, excellent service, and strong drinks. But the food turns the entire experience into a beautifully designed trap. When expectations are sky high and the kitchen cannot deliver, the disappointment hits harder. Two stars, awarded for the scenery, the cocktails, and the hope that one day the food finds the exit.
