It was different than Indian (obviously) but I think I may like this better. I got the Newari khaja set, which is a combination of several traditional Nepalese dishes and it was a fantastic introduction to the flavors they use. I ordered hot (I asked for a 7 on a hotness scale of 1 to 10) and it was perfect. The heat was balanced by a tangy mustard oil present in some of the dishes. It was a deep and hugely satisfying flavor profile. I will return many times and explore further offerings (their menu is vast). If you have not been here, go! If you like Indian food, try this! These are basically Indian versions of Sprite and Coca Cola (I personally think the Indian versions taste better and they use sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup). I also wanted to use a 10% off coupon for spending $30. I get to the register and this pale (just for identification) Middle Eastern looking or Indian gal looks at the coupon and states, "6/30/2025, is this expired?" I had to tell her that today was June 1st, 2025 and you know what the funny part is? I AM INDIAN! So this is not a hoodwink other ethnic groups into buying everything at full price. And likewise, I have been to other business where other ethnic groups were employees and managers and called them out as well. This is Kentucky and so if they end up taking out a gun, then just let them charge full price (I have not had this happen yet, but have heard news on altercations beginning this way). So whatever ethnic group you are, just be sure that when you use a coupon; you stick by what you know, in this case, the date of today and what it states on the coupon. This could have just been a one off experience, but for profit businesses are always looking for ways NOT to discount certain items. Just an FYI. I am GLAD that I saved $3.09!
