During the years she lived at this assisted living facility, she received loving and compassionate care from the staff. Her caregivers were all excellent as well as the the chef, maintenance man, hair stylist and director, Wendy. I consider those staff members who have stayed in board and worked tirelessly with the residents at Paramount to keep them happy and well during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic super heroes. I also so appreciated how kind the staff members were to me and other family members who would stop in to visit grandma. I really think Paramount Parks is one of the best assisted living facilities in Idaho. It's clean, beautifully decorated and in a wonderful location as well. My grandma had nurses from Signature Hospice care for her the last year of her life. Two of those nurses told me that they think Paramount Parks is one of the best facilities in the valley and that really meant a lot since they see patients who reside in many different facilities.

It was very important for the siblings to easily visit her, so location was a high priority. After a lot of research and high recommendations we chose Paramount Parks in Eagle. We could not be happier!! This is due, in large part, to Jennifer Hoffman who does a fantastic job helping to run Paramount. She has been exemplary in all her actions and has gone above and beyond all of our hopeful expectations. She helped to make the transition painless, simple and actually kind of fun for Mom. Jenn sets the precedents for the rest of her staff. They are attentive, kind, and on top of the needs of their "family" at Paramount. Mom says she loves the food & having choices (it's not my favorite place to eat but I'm a spoiled foodie, and since she's the one eating there, we are both happy! ) They have the usual activities that most of the nicer places have. But also stand out in other areas, like having a Memory Care Center on site. It is totally separate and very secure. So Nice to know, if ever needed, it would be an easy transition. I contacted them about this several times and nothing has changed. They make excuses and flat out lie about contacting me several times when they have not. Since our last conversation about needing an appointment they said someone will contact you next week to schedule an appointment. Not 1 single phone call from them in 2 weeks. My grandmother is allergic to cheese, and can not have dairy products and no that's not something that if even she has a bit its okay, ITS NOT. Its written in all of her papers, even written on the board in her room. So please tell me that it gives these staff members an excuse to ignore all of that and just give it to her anyways. I THANK GOD SHE DIDNT EAT IT! Hell, all of that place should be damn grateful that myself and my mother got there in time to stop her from not eating the plate of food they made for her. SHE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED AND THATS NO JOKE! On another note, this afternoon around 2pm my grandma had been sitting in her own shit for over a hour, because no one checked on her. The lady that gave us a tour stated that shower days happen atleast twice a week more if needed, and the fact that there would always be someone able to help bathe the patient. LIES, my mother had to literally bathe her on her own because no one else would, these people get paid to do that, not to sit on their ass all day. My grandma had also not even had lunch given to her until after 3pm, sad when my mother and I have to drive over there and make sure shit gets done. After all this stuff happened not one person in charge was there. They stated "sorry youll have to wait until Monday" These places should have someone in charge at the place 24-7 or atleast have a call number. SO PLEASE I BEG OF YOU DO NOT EVER THINK ABOUT BRINGING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.

I was called by the administrator, Harleigh today requesting that I pay for a full months rent because a room is available even though we are not ready or choose to have our deposit refunded. I explained that I was told by her that the deposit keeps our name on the list for the next option but she changed her tune and said I had to pay for the room. I guess policies change depending on when they have vacancies. After reading the latest reviews, I have asked for a refund.
