This was my first experience at Taco Bell, as my cousin really likes it and wanted me to try it out: When we walked in the lobby looked clean, the kiosks and lack of humans at the counter was sad, and there seemed to be quite a few people waiting. Like other reviews have said, the wait was quite long. My cousin got a drink and we had to wait to ask for a cup for quite a while until the next order came out and there was actually an employee there. Others also frantically asked for cups as the guy seemed in a hurry to get back to the kitchen and quite depressed and bored. This is a downside of having everyone in the kitchen and no one at the counter. I ordered a Cheese Gordita taco and cinnamon twists. (They seemed to be out of tomatoes as none of our food had them when they were supposed to.) But overall the food was delicious. I love the concept of the soft shell wrapping the hard shell because it helps prevent it from shattering and makes it easier to eat. So as the destination for sampling at fourth meal, it was delicious and the wait wasn't a huge issue. But if you're really hungry or need food in a hurry, that is a big drawback for a "fast food" place. read more

Slow as hell and still messed up the order massively and lokey food made me shit myself

the food tasted good but i found it frustrating the fact your kitchen had misplaced our order because it was completed and gone but never handed out the front, as we were dining in then it got remade and it was still missing a dipping taco. they continued to ask us if we were sure like we can't see what's in our bag compared to on the receipt. you're also gonna continue to make it the most sloppy dipping taco ever with sauce all over the bag. I don't care that you made a mistake and it took longer to get our food then the rest of our group who ordered after us, we care about you owning up to your mistake and being able to fix it. i work in fast food too so i know it's frustrating when people are karen's and doing the most over some fast food but don't be angry when you made the mistake, just fix it and move on. read more

Weird I ordered at the window and got my final order and charge at the billboard. They apparently asked me to stay at the ordering window until the lady gave me the okay to go to the window to pay . Never have been asked this before (live in Minneapolis) I waited 2 minutes then went to the window to pay.....the weird lady had the nerve to say "next time wait to come to the pay window until I give you permission" super rude I'd understand if she was pleasant Ok I was confused normally when you order you move to window to pay without having to get permission Awful customer service If you don't want a good drive thru experience skip this place. The location in brainerd MN absolutely sucks. I paid extra for chips and cheese and a Doritos locos taco and didn't receive either of those items . I am highly allergic to tomatoes and I asked for no tomatoes and got it on all of my food items . I didn't receive any of my modifications such as adding onions to my items and removing the tomatoes as said before . All of my food items were cold and hard as a rock that it was not even edible . I ended up having to throw away my entire order and will never be coming back . I will drive out of town just for Taco Bell after this experience . The staff also needs to be talked to about poor service . You could hear them playing around in the background over the speaker and I waited 10 min to receive my food . If I'm in a rush for a quick breakfast or lunch, which seems to be most of the time...I stop by this Taco Bell. I use the mobile app to order, and the staff at this location are always friendly at the speaker, and at the window. The mobile app orders are quick here, and the Taco Bell rewards program gives you something free, or a decent discount on stuff you're probably already ordering! They went through a recent update to the building, and it looks great. There are screens available to order from if you wish, but you can also order at the counter from a human, or pick up your mobile order. Plenty of seating inside, and a nice updated lobby. read more

Baxter, MN Location, 2:00pm on 6-23-2023. Not particularly busy. While waiting for my order to be filled I noticed a couple trying to enter the store but the door was locked. I notified an employee and he said. "We are well aware." I told him people can't get in, to which he said "That's fine with me." Just then the manager came near, I told her of the locked door and she said "So?" Surprised I told her that customers can't get out either. Obviously annoyed, she unlocked the door and let me out. As I left I told her that customers had been waiting outside but couldn't get in, so they left. Her reply- "I don't care". These are the people touching your food. read more

Dear Taco Bell, You have lost a lifelong customer today, thanks to the heavyset woman you have managing the place. Not only is she rude and curt to customers, i have reason to believe she may have deliberately sabotaged our food. Absolutely the worst food, (ultra greasy and looked like it had been thrown on the floor and stomped on), the worst service, and the worst employee it has ever been my displeasure to encounter. Thanks to her, i will never again darken the door of a Taco Bell, in Baxter or anywhere else on this earth. Maybe someday she will learn who it really is that signs her paychecks, but i doubt it. Taco, had little to nothing in it added lettuce and tomato...mistake! There was nothing in it! Pitiful!!! No reciept! paid with debit card.... ask for mile sauce, was told she put mild and hot in bag as she handed it to me. I'm replied would only like mild... cashier replied she couldn't get take that back and would not offer to give me more mild sauce. Pitiful service..... I will never go there again!!! Started our dining experience at Taco Bell by having to enter all our order details. No big deal, I too enjoy slapping a massive touchscreen like a toddler from time to time. For a brief moment I thought I would be unable to order after it began asking for names and email addresses. Of course this is a common thing. Though somehow I felt compelled to pull out my social security card and vaccination papers, or lack thereof. After making our selections for the evening we found our way to a table. Avoiding the half dozen tables with shredded cheese, sauce, and other gifts left behind. I tell myself the employees just care too much about the environment to use any additional resources on cleaning the tables. How thoughtful and heroic! After finally settling in we waited patiently for our order. Only having been seated for a few minutes we heard orders called out. Now, having given my name on the order I foolishly expected to hear my name, in an attempt to discern which order was mine. Instead I heard a short list of items ready for pickup. I didn't think much of it and thought another patron had just not entered their name. After hearing it again I looked to the counter to find a rather small employee struggling to see over the counter to glare in my direction. Now again not hearing my name I thought it was odd, but hearing that there were tacos ready for pickup I began my way to the front. Assuming of course, that nobody else at Taco Bell was there to order tacos. I look at the bag placed on the counter with two slushy drinks beside it. Puzzled as I had ordered one slushy and one fountain soda. I stepped back and examined the items. Not wanting to touch another customers order I hesitated and continued to observe. Eventually I decided I should look in the bag. Now another thing to mention I had chosen Dine-In. So again I foolishly expected to see a tray with my order. After further investigation I had determined this was most likely what the employees had decided was my order. As there were in fact two bags of two piece cinnamon desert bites. Only 2.19 each! Best one dollar, one bites, around! Now my focus fell on the drink fiasco. I slid the bag and correct beverage towards me on the counter and waited patiently for one of the staff to notice me. One young man who resembled shaggy from scooby-do stared at me blankly before returning his attention to his kitchen duties. I waited further and was eventually greeted by the same worker that had previously called the order. "what do you want?" "This drink is incorrect" "Yeah well what do you think it's supposed to be?" I refrained from telling her it's what I ordered on the IPad by the door and maybe Taco Bell would be able to assist her in pursuing a proper 3rd grade education. I informed her it was a regular soda, of the medium variety. She sighed heavily and stomped to the counter and retrieved a cup from the stack. I applauded her efforts and said thank you. She returned the gesture with another sigh and eye roll as she made the journey back to her station. I turned and set my sights on the fountain machine. To fill my cup with the coveted Baja Blast. After doing so and returning to my table I took a sip. "Ahhh.. refreshing!" I was finally able to enjoy my lukewarm tacos and extremely watered down Baja blast. What a perfect meal to wind down my evening with. Then again maybe I should have used my education and not eaten at this establishment. Hope this helps! read more

The food is usually fine, but the speed is terrible. It's not worth going here unless you get lucky and it's not remotely bus. if you go and the drive thru has more than 3-4 cars just leave. It will be a 30 minute wait. Not joking, go somewhere else! read more

The manager is insanely rude and I can not believe how she treats her customers. I had two mobile orders and noticed we were missing one of the orders. Since the interior is closed I immediately pulled back in the drive through and after the 2 cars in front of me ordered I explained the situation to the employee and the manager came. After this the manager proceeded to accuse me of hiding the order and attempting to steal more food with no basis in reality. Once I proved I did not have the other food (which I should not have had to do) I was given my food. To put the icing on the cake I was missing one of my items after being screamed at and accused of stealing a whole $9 worth of food. read more

Had my usual Bacon Grande Scrambler today, it's the only thing I ever order and only ever get one of them, with no sauces. Every time I say "nothing else" and every time I get asked if I want "hot sauce, mild sauce, etc, etc, etc". Sometimes I'm in a hurry and don't want to sit there for 30 seconds while they list everything else. That is not my problem however, as I know they are just doing what they are told. That being said, this morning the two serving ladies were very rude and disrespectful. The older lady that normally takes my order on Saturday mornings is usually very pleasant. Today however there was another lady, who was extremely rude. Instead of telling me my total (2.90, I get the breakfast burrito enough to know the price) she swiped the money out of my hand without a word, then processed the payment and gave me my dime. She looked at the receipt, then threw it away instead of giving it to me, and handed me my food bag without a word. She didn't give me that receipt because she knew she would get a bad review! And she knew she would get a bad review because the Grande Scrambler they gave me was the smallest I've ever ordered there. It had almost nothing inside of it other than sour cream and eggs. Extremely disappointed by the burrito, but most of all by the deliberate insult your staff gave me by intentionally not giving me my receipt and being rude to me. This has to be the friendliest Taco Bell we've been to! We were treated with smiles from the lady in the parking lot taking orders for drive thru to the employee who was sitting after her shift with friends. Our had multiple larger orders & everything was correct. They even made sure to remind us to grab napkins & extra sauces if we needed them. read more

The service was awful. One of the workers (bless her soul) was working so hard while the other workers were audibly yelling in the background. When we got to the window, we saw the workers play fighting, yelling, running around, and being EXTREMELY unprofessional. Additionally, our food was cold, poorly assembled, AND we were missing half of our order. We went back around the drive through and it took them 5 minutes to get our sauces and they were messing around WITH THE WINDOW OPEN while we sat there waiting. We have lunch there often. The food is always warn, and tasty. We used to volunteer on Tuesdays at a local shop, and the go to lunch. Often Taco Bell. James goes out of his way to greet us, even if he isn't working the register. Can't beat # 4 or the chicken power bowl ! read more

I don't generally bother to review a fast food place. Everyone kinda knows what to expect when you happen to eat at one, but I'm compelled to comment on this place because it's absolutely disgusting in here. We walked in to be welcomed by a cloud of flies and after ordering and seeing the state the kitchen was in, it was no wonder why. Meat and toppings littered not only the counters, but the floor as well. There were wrappers carelessly tossed everywhere. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. I know things can get busy, but I've never seen a kitchen look that awful. My son needed to used the bathroom and after we were done we tried to wash our hands but there wasn't any soap. And it's not like the dispenser was out. It was missing. Hard to refill something that isn't there. I have to go back to my hotel and shower now. 11/10 would go back, Crunchwrap is v good. Service was good, drive thru line went muy fast.
