Today I was craving a crisp meat burrito and I headed straight to Taco Time which also offers teriyaki as Samurai Sam's. I thought I might as well try the teriyaki to see if it's as good as Tokyo Stop on Whidbey Island (which I highly recommend if you are ever in the vicinity!) As for the crisp meat burrito that brought me here, I took two bites and threw the rest away. These were NOT Taco Time crisp meat burritos! Although it looked identical to all the ones I have enjoyed before, the overwhelming flavor of cumin was a bit nauseating. It was as if it was the only seasoning and took up more volume in the tortilla than meat. It gave me a headache that still lingers. Never again!! I guess I will probably have to go to Spokane for a real crisp meat burrito, but I think I will be back for the teriyaki! I want to give 5 stars for the teriyaki but the burrito was so awful!
