went through drive-through and it took us over ten minutes to get our order. When we got the order the tacos were in pieces that you would need a spoon to eat it. when I called the store asked if it was a franchise or corporate, asked for a manager the person that answered the phone said she manager I asked for her name she refused to give it I asked for the franchise owner information, she refused to give it I said about how unprofessional they are with answering the drive-through, laughing and giggling she said that I was wrong by saying that nobody could have fun. I said it was about professionalism. I told her what was wrong with my order and her only response was we could come back and get A new order but refused to give me her name and her information. There was no accountability on the manager, for the fact that they were unprofessional and serve, served crappy food.

Lunchtime drive-thru (Practicing Covid-19 Social Distancing Protocol). The long line reflects these times of uncertainty, since these fast food joints are already set up for curb-side service, I think people flock to the fast food brands out of convenience especially during the lunch hour. It seems everyone is working for an essential business here in Deland - I haven't seen the traffic flow decrease as much as you would think with a "stay at home order" in effect. I don't think I've ever felt as good about eating fast food ever! I mean when was the last time you were handed fast food by a employee that looked like a surgical nurse, gloves, mask, hairnet and sanitation practices actually being followed. I think that this covid monster could remind us that we all could improve our hygiene and change some bad habits that it seems the world had defaulted to. It was nice to see a friendly staff that actually appreciates it customers instead of the employee's robotic posture that seemed to have become the norm. The products here were well constructed and delicious, could it be that implementing good housekeeping protocols could also subconsciously improve food handling practices by the employees. This may have been the best experience I've ever had at a Taco Bell Restaurant. No broken shells...

Happy hour is from 2-5pm and the freeze's that are regular sized are supposed to be $1 but I got charged regular price when i went in at 4:30. I asked the lady and told her should it not be $1 because of happy hour and she told me no. There's literally a sign outside that says the exact opposite. Like are or dumb or what?

I heard this place has THE best Mexican food in Deland, so I was exited to try it. I thought it…read morewas just a food truck type of spot, but it was actually a market with a little bit of everything, including hot food and ice cream. My wife and I arrived and tried to find parking in the lot, but it was very small with lots of vehicles parked all over, so we went to the side of the building and that's when I saw the food truck. It looked operable with outdoor seating, but no menu. So we parked in the grass area and went inside the market. The inside is much larger than it appears from the outside. The back area has some tables to dine-in and it a small section more towards the back has homemade ice cream! Onto the food.....they have a large menu with lots of options. Picture ALL of your favorite Mexican foods and then some! We tried the 5 street tacos with Jibarito (drink) special for $13.50. We added a couple of supreme tacos, a plate of refried beans and yellow rice, and a tamale. Note: We ordered chicken for the tacos and tamale. While the chicken was just ok, I would imagine that any other meat would have tasted better. Everything came out to about $25 and tasted good. Surprising, the best part were the refried beans, which is a first for me because those are usually afterthoughts at every other place I've been. So the verdict is in....is Crystal THE best Mexican food in Deland? No, but it's pretty solid. It reminded me of a gas station version of Garcia's down the street.

I've visited a couple of times now and have tried both the cold soba sesame noodles and the chili…read morenoodles-both were outstanding in their own way. The soba noodles were light, refreshing, and coated in a rich sesame sauce that had a great balance of nuttiness and subtle sweetness without being overpowering. On the other hand, the chili noodles had a completely different flavor profile-bold, savory, with a slight kick of heat that built up without overwhelming the dish. What really stood out to me was how well the noodles themselves were cooked-perfect texture, not too soft or too firm, which can be hard to get right. You can tell there's attention to detail in the preparation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to answer questions and give recommendations, which I always appreciate. The ambiance inside is also a big plus-clean, comfortable, and modern without feeling too trendy. One unique touch I loved was the cooking videos playing inside; it adds to the overall experience and makes the place feel more engaging. Overall, everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere made this a really enjoyable visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and this is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots when I'm craving noodles.

It…read morewas the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I was dropping off my daughter after a great holiday with the family. We marched into the restaurant shortly before three. The server looked at with a smile and slight confusion. We realized they were not yet open! I felt like a dunce. We offered to come back. She made sure we were comfortable, provided several laughs, and advised that the chef was preparing. The ambiance was so inviting and the overall vibe was great so waiting was not even a concern. We started with the wings. Oh my! They were out of this world. I can only assume (because I didn't ask) that they were soy garlic, and oh so yummy. Extremely tender and moist, with more flavor than any wing should have. My Daughter ordered the chilli oil noodles. They were a medium spice packed with flavor. My finance ordered hot and spicy noodles that didn't hold back. They were as described with the perfect about of heat. She'd felt they would have benefited from a bit of sweetness, but were delicious. I thought they were great. I ordered the mongoose Dan Dan noodles. They were also delicious. The noodles themselves were the star I feel. They had the perfect amount of bounce giving an authenticity I didn't expect. I tried all three dishes and my favorite was the hot and spicy noodles but my daughter gave her leftovers to her boyfriend! I was offended but I survived. We shared a slice of pistachio cake that was truly special. The server told us it was amazing but we didn't expect it to be that good. It was super moist, not overly sweet, and was nothing less than perfect. Totally unexpected. This is a true gem.
