I met a couple of buddies here for lunch, I had to admit to them this was first visit, they are from out of town but both had been here before so I had to ask them for recommendations - it was lunch time and after ordering tacos at the counter we found a table window side and the food was delivered after only a few minutes. I ordered 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos (shredded chicken) both styles were absolutely beautiful in presentation, after pouring a generous amount of the hot homemade green salsa on all four I took my first bite and wow so simple but so delicious, nice toasted tortilla, plenty of meat with raw onion and cilantro and my addition of the hot green salsa is exceptional, there is a mild salsa and a few bottled hot sauces but the hot green salsa adds the final touch that will have your taste buds doing a happy dance. Many of the reviews talk about ice cream and desserts, well I can't speak for any of that yet, but the tacos are amazing - I'll definitely return for these and some of the many other traditional offerings. Stumbled upon this hole in the wall spot on the way to the springs. The fresh fruit drinks and dessert bars were really good here. I started off with a fresh Cantaloupe juice and it was super tasty. We had the chicken and steak tacos, they weren't that bad. The steak tacos had more flavor. Highly recommend their dessert bars. Was really excited to eat here but we sadly had a terrible experience. Ordered two asada tortas and 3 asada tacos with a large horchata. As you can tell, both tortas were so burnt they were bitter. The carne asada was really over cooked and hard. We didn't want to ask them to fix it because the man at the counter already seemed like he was having a rough day and wasn't giving us the best of customer service. We definitely won't be returning and it's such a shame. Also noticed how a blue drink that was already in a cup got poured back into the drink's container by the man at the register. I'm disappointed. I was recommended this place by two friends and was excited to try. I took my other friend who loves checking out taco joints with me. I ordered asada and Al pastor authentic, chicken supreme taco, and a California burrito. The chicken supreme taco was delicious! But when I opened my box with the asada and al pastor, the entire bottom of the box was full of grease. Both tacos were very salty, hard to chew, and the soft shells were tough. (My friend had the exact same problem with her two tacos and she was not impressed.) The California burrito wasn't bad, my husband enjoyed it - it was huge like it is advertised. It can feed two people. I did enjoy the refreshing horchata. The guy at the register was nice, but he was definitely busy. The place continued to get customers near closing and phone calls for orders. Not sure if I'll be back to give another chance. We'll see. read more

I felt like I was back home in california! I ordered like every taco they had on flour tortillas and loved them all. I want to try the massive human sized baby burrito I saw there! Sundaes, bannana splits and tasty horchatas make our day better. I started with sweets since someone once said "life is short so eat desert first!" The service was amazing....so friendly and helpful, but the ice cream.......OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. I took home 10 paletas. Did I need 10, nope but there were so amazing that I had to bring some home for my husband and my friends. The food looked amazing as well so I am going to make a special trip up just to try the food, but it's worth the drive just for the paletas. I found this hidden gem about two months ago. What can I say but that their food is Mexican, amazing, fresh and delicious! They have tacos in many different meats like chicken, asada, lengua, etc. Their carne asada plate is delicious also. Don't forget one of Danny's paletas or other ice cream treats. This place is the best taco and burrito place in Florida. They are great tasting, freshly made and just all around great. One time I was in to pick up my order one of the ladies was making the tortillas in a large electric press. I would like to own one for myself so I could try and make my own at home and see if I could do as good as they do. Love this place and since I live about 5 minutes away, we go pretty regular. Those sopes yo! I've had this place booked marked on yelp for a long time and I finally made my wonderful fiancé drive me. We are from Sanford so it was quite a drive but man was it worth it! There isn't a lot of Mexican places near us unfortunately. Anyways we got an order of Asada sopes with everything, chicken tacos , steak tacos and a huge ass burrito that my fiancé didn't finish. lol Everything was delicious and I wanted to order another order of sopes to go but that was just me being impulsive. We chose homemade popsicles for dessert. Mine was strawberries and cream, very tasty. He got the guava, which would have been yummy if they didn't put the entire fruit pulp inside, seeds and all. Good Aguas and food. That's why I'm giving four stars. Customer service sucks though. That's like 2 stars. I called to place a order all they said was "Yea". I'm like "ummm is this Danny's Ice Cream?" Lady said "yea". I placed my order but they told me I could only order food and not the aguas. That sucked because I was sending my family member to pick up a huge order and would have loved to order everything and not have my family member wait to order aguas‍ makes the process longer.
