The seasoned meat doesn't taste right. No flavor. Skip this location and get something else

Visited today at Hillsborough, NC location. A customer came in who asked for assistance with kiosk and told manager he could not read. Manager humiliated him by questioning whether he could read and customer left. Very disturbing to witness such behavior. This is not the first time that I have seen customers leave because of issues with kiosk. Occasionally I have seen an employee assist with order taking but it is rare. Should always have employee available to assist customers. read more

Food was ok but the drink machine was nasty. Staff was friendly. I wish Hillsborough's fast food places were as good as Mebane's.

I would not recommend my worst enemy to go to this Taco Bell not only did they have eight cars pull out of the drive-through to sit next to the front door for your order. They did not even attempt to come outside after almost 15 minutes of waiting. I walked inside to check on my order And they did not even have it ready even when they try to be nice. And gave me a free thing of cinnamon twist. They didn't even have any of the cinnamon and brown sugar on them. The entire thing feels like a slap in the face I would say this place needs seriously think about staffing changes read more

the customer service is bad. everyone is locked into making food and working the window. I needed hot sauce and had to work to get someone's attention about it and then they corrected me to say it was out by the napkins but they didn't even know it was out. they're too busy like lemmings making tacos for the window that if anyone wants to have a normal fast food experience you're going to get treated like you're invisible. Also, they REFUSE to take orders verbally even though everyone I watched using the key Pad didn't wash their hands pukatronic. I ordered three taco supremes with pico instead of regular tomatoes and extra sour cream and one regular baja blast. they charged me $18.85. Even though I ordered pico the food was without any flavor at all - thank god I could drown it in hot sauce. and this is the third time I've been in there and it's like this. also the soda had no syrup the first time I went and it's still the same - no one cares. whoever is managing this place is in over their head. read more

For many years my family refused to go to this Taco Bell and we finally returned because we were nearby, had people expecting Taco Bell for dinner, and we just wanted to get home. Bad decision! Our order was wrong. We ordered 3 crunchy bean tacos supreme and that is what we paid for but not what we got. We got 3 crunchy taco shells with barely any beans, lettuce, and cheese on them. We ordered a Fiesta Burrito with no guacamole and the guacamole was put on it anyway. The service was slow, unfriendly, and the food cold. Never again!! read more

with nobody dining inside you'd think they could handle more than 1 car in 20 minutes. They mostly get the orders wrong too. I have to say this is the single worst run Taco Bell I've ever seen. This is the worst taco bell i have ever been too. Slowest service ever. Went thru drive thru took me 20 mins just to order. Then when i get home i notice my food is all wrong. Went back up there to get my food corrected and the lady was rude and unprofessional. Tryed to give us our tacos they forgot 20 minutes earlier. Argued about remaking our other food even though it was all wrong. The chalupas were hard as a brick. Soda was pure carbonation. And all the tacos were wrong. We stated that we would never return to this location and the woman replied she didn't need our buisness anyways as they were busy enough. And to be honest they were not busy they were slow. This location will always have a wait, even if there are no other cars in the drive thru or parked for indoor dining. The food order may or may not be right, no matter how much or little you order. Not to mention how rude, bland, and unfriendly staff is. Save your time and go to Mebane Taco Bell. read more

This is the worst Taco Bell in America. The wait is always at least 15 minutes in the drive through, sometimes quite a bit longer. And they get the order WRONG about 50% of the time. I often just drive to Mebane instead to avoid the hassle. I cannot understand why this particular Taco Bell cannot pull it off. It's not rocket science. read more

If I could give this taco bell zero stars I would. Worst drive-through experience I had ever had. Waited for 30 minutes to pick up an online order through the drive through because the doors to the lobby were locked (two hours before close). When I finally got to the speaker they told me they didn't have the meal I ordered and were quite rude about it. I tried to laugh it off and say "Must be a rough night" and his response was "Order something or leave"... He also said they only had two people working. If I somehow get my hands on a magic genie lamp, my first wish would be for this Taco Bell to go out of business and be replaced by an empty parking lot, because that would be more helpful. I go here every once in a while. I keep giving it a chance because how friendly everyone is there. But I'm so fed up. I think maybe twice in the last 2 years they have gotten my order right. Don't order online, they don't start food prep until you show up. We ordered ahead to avoid waiting in the drive thru line. Selected 815 pick up, and arrived at 819 and were asked to pull aside. It's now 847 and our food is just being walked out to our vehicle. The woman that we worked with was an absolute doll, so I added a star just for her! Hopefully the order is accurate. This place looks great and the was great their service could just use a little bit of help. I had order the chicken Quesadilla, the beefy frito burrito, and the new Buffalo chicken fries. The burrito did not have rice in it like they are supposed to the quesadilla is just a little cold and dry and the fire the did not give me at first they fugaces the burrito and then when I went up there to fix it this lady yells from the back that the fries are in the burrito when they are not supposed to be it was supposed to be fired not the burrito I told the lad at the register and then another person tells me that they are in the burrito. But when you look at the photo on the menu that it is fires and a burrito so I know that they gave them wrong Thing I can only eat so much beans so that why want the fries other wise I would just eat that burrito. I waited for 20 minutes to be seated by the hostess, who never did show up! I ended up having to seat myself.

At this point, I will not be returning to the Hillsborough, NC location. They always get my order wrong and today was no different. I ordered a nacho supreme, the 3 soft taco supreme combo, the chalupa combo with beef instead of chicken, and a cheesy roll-up. I had the person i was speaking to repeat my order back to me TWICE. I get to the window, pay, and receive my food only to be told that they no longer have the nacho supreme. I asked why I wasn't told that when I was ordering and got a shoulder shrug in response. I pull off, look in my bag and realized I was missing my roll-up. I went back to get it and didn't get an apology. I got all the way home, which is 25 minutes away, to see chicken on my chalupas. When I finally got in contact with someone at the store, that person told me that I could leave a review at mykfcexperience.com but I wouldn't be able to speak to any at corporate because there is no number to call. This TACO Bell & KFC have been in the same place and if they have done any renovations it hasn't been in the last 15 years since we moved to Hillsborough. One day the drive though was long so I went inside YIKES the floor was not clean at all, the tables were not clean, nor the counter and area. A restaurant must be CLEAN. Service is terrible! Order was completely wrong didn't notice til I got home 20 mins later went back and then gave us a hard time about it! Half of my order was missing! Then when I finally got the order that was correct I asked to get a fresh drink because the ice was all melted in it and that it looked like ice tea and had ordered wild cherry soda. They said that they couldn't refill it and I'd have to buy a whole new drink to get it! But I didn't order iced tea and the person who took the order did it wrong! When we got home couldn't even eat the chips they gave us they forgot the first time because they tasted like they were dipped i soap and were soggy. While using a razor blade to carefully arrange your product into a single line may be the appropriate way to prepare cocaine, to my knowledge this is not the way of the taco. As to whether or not Kim decided that is, in fact, how a taco is made; or whether or not management is simply that level of Scrooge McDuck greedy and hates the taco eating populace at large, getting even with us with their cold lettuce and cheese tortilla wrap ups, I cannot say. Thankfully however, when I brought this to the young ladies attention, she greeted my concerns with the attitude of someone who works night shifts being woken by particularly pushy Jehovah's Witnesses at 7:30 AM. After being informed that "they gone charge you for extra" I tried to call her attention to the fact that you would actually need an electron microscope to verify the claim that there is any beef on the taco to begin with, she decided to use her training at the "Hillsborough Academy for learning how to make every human interaction a nightmare" and proceeded to debate the nonextistense of taco beef with me. It was when she said "ima show you" and turned around and went to the back, seemingly to get her tools ready to create one of these abominations, that I opted for a refund instead. No more of these lettuce wraps needed to come into the world, and if I had to watch one being made surely my face would have melted off as if I gazed upon the holy Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones. The staff at this particular Taco Bell are very friendly and there has never been a time where I've come across anyone that was rude through the drive-through or inside the restaurant. My only complaint is that the drive-through takes forever to get through. This is supposed to be a fast food chain and it feels like I'm about to get a three course meal when I reach the window because the wait time is that long. Thank god im fat and not dying of hunger. I had possibly the worst experience today in the drive thru. To start, I get to the drive thru and I ask for a quesorito they say you can only order it online, thats fine. Usually every other T Bell ive been to before has no issue ringing me up, but i wasn't going to stress it. So, I ordered it online and forgot some things so i go back through the drive thru and then order some more food. After waiting for a while I get to the window and tell them I had a mobile order, the man at the window looks at me and tells me im making things difficult and i should have told them that i had a mobile order while i was ordering so they could have it ready. I have worked in food for five years and whenever we got a mobile order we made it as soon as we received it so that it was ready for the customer. I apologized and he kept repeating himself and then cops and attitude and talks about the situation with his coworkers WHILE the window was open so i heard everything. I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly didn't even want my food at that point but already paid and didn't want to make his job more "difficult" by asking for a refund.. I have NEVER been met with customer service as bad as this and will never be back to that taco bell. read more

My issue with people is that you have to remember that "everyone" is human. If you have never made a mistake then so be it but I truly doubt it. Working in fast food is not easy having to deal with idiots as customers. First food poising takes time to process through the body so stop lying. If you want your food to be perfect then cook it yourself in your own home. We visit this Taco Bell often and they have great customer service. Taco Bell's meat is greasy so they aren't going to drain it to put on your Taco. So order something else if it is that big of a problem. Stop complaining about everything and check your food before you leave and stop expecting perfection. It's annoying and a headache. I'll never go back. I used to go to Taco Bell, I ask for 'extra sour cream' (even offered to pay for it) for the Beef Burrito Supreme. There is no flavor to one without Sour Cream. Out of some 20 times I ask for it, only 3 times did I get it. The last time I went in, I ask for 'extra sour cream'. It was worse than usual, there was LESS Than a Teaspoon of Sour Cream on that Burrito. I used to go there for a year, thought I'd see if they improved. It's WORSE. Employees have a bad attitude - they claimed that it was taking longer because they had to take care of the drive thru, too. I asked for a spicy chicken burrito which we have in Michigan but not North Carolina I guess. Even tho they were really busy she went out of her way to make one up and it tasted amazing! It was way better than the one I'm used to. Nice people and great service. Great staff and mgnt! read more
