terrible. i ordered at 1am on DoorDash, an HOUR before they closed, and they had a full 60 minutes to make my order but they just decided to close the store and leave it. The service and the food was very disappointing. The food itself was very sloppy and skimpy. Not at all worth the money they charge. I had add ons to my food that they just disregarded. This is NOT fast food. I know it's tough to hire workers right now, so I get it. But it still sucks this is advertised as fast, when, even if you go through the drive through, you can expect to keep your car idling for at least 25 minutes (I kept an eye on the clock) and I didn't even make a special order! When I was a child going to school, everyone complained about the lunches at school. I was the only one in the history of our school system that actually liked school lunches. I should have known back then that I was not one to be impressed with fine dining. Perhaps that is one reason why I like Taco Bell. I do not go here often but there are times when you just have to go to Taco Bell. You get that craving for a taco brimming with sour cream or, better yet, a taco salad with that calorie-laden crunchy crust. I know Taco Bell is the school lunch equivalent of fast food and that it is not real Mexican food. Somehow I don't really care. When I get those cravings, only Taco Bell will do. It's a total crunchy cheesy unhealthy mess at Taco Bell but it really hits the spot at times. They are constantly changing their menu and presenting new offerings which is always a plus. They keep the staples but have the "limited time only" options. I have never had a problem with freshness or quality from Taco Bell, either. The prices are right in line with the food. Nothing seems too pricey or unusually expensive. I have always had good customer service at Taco Bell, too. I have not had exceptional customer service experience but the servers have always been cordial and pleasant. No complaints from me on this front. I hate to even admit this next part but their food is actually good. I love the chalupas, the taco salad, the pinto beans and the quesadillas. Again, it's not authentic Mexican but it is not bad. The place was empty inside just employees chilling with their phones. But what I saw next completely shocked me. The wait time -- practically nonexistent. I was blessed so graciously with a half-dozen or so more sauce packets than I requested, and the benevolent employees masterfully preparing my double-beef Beefy Five Layer Burrito (with NO sour cream) bestowed upon me more meat than I could have ever dreamt of. After a long day of traveling, my husband and I needed food. This is important not only because we were starving, but because my husband's blood sugar had also dropped dangerously low and we had used the medicine we had taken with us for the trip. Food was needed urgently to bring it back up. We pulled into the drive-thru at this location on the morning of Friday, March 17, 2017, almost ten minutes before the posted closing time of 3:00 AM. We were completely and utterly ignored. No one acknowledged us in the drive-thru, though the lights were on and the staff was present. We pulled up to the window and were ignored, pulling around again to be ignored further. We tried calling the restaurant and no one answered. Finally, a few minutes before 3:00, the staff shut off the inside lights. Thankfully there was a McDonald's open not far up the street, or we wouldn't have had food for some time to come as we'd have been visiting the local hospital to deal with my husband's medical condition. The moral of this story: don't trust Taco Bell's signage, especially not when it matters. They may say they're open until 3:00, but unless you arrive before 2:30 you won't be fed. read more
