We visited this Taco Bell today. We decided we would go inside and sit down to eat. The dining room was filthy. There was used food and trash everywhere. It did not look like the restaurant had been cleaned in days. We were trying to use a gift card and the reader would only error. The young lady working the counter did not even offer to help. She just stood there and looked. Once we were able to pay she didn't say thank you, just walked away and proceeded to use her phone. We have decided we will not return to this store. read more

I went to this Taco Bell around 7:20 pm. I ordered my food, it was kinda busy but not hectic and people were getting their food and leaving. I had my friend with me too. I got my food and I was then waiting for my drink bc the guy who handed me my food walked away too fast for me to ask for my cup. Well I waited for someone to look at me so I could get their attention. Which none of them did. Mind you there were like 3 younger people in there besides two older men. Well I waited and waited and waited. Soon this really old couple comes in to order at the counter...well they never got help and they were there for at least 8 mins. I felt so bad they didn't know how to use to screens and they just walked away out the door. Well I still hadn't gotten my drink and I was getting fed up. Also as I'm waiting, there were also three young boys who were waiting for their things as well and had been waiting since before I even got my food. So about 15 mins. Well I finally 3 mins later got the same kid who gave me my food, his attention. Got my cup and left. As I walk out my friend told me, that one of the older men who could have been a manager he was a bigger guy, looked directly at her, and made a disgusted look on his face and kept going with whatver he was doing. Never once did anyone not even the kid at the window look at the counter to see if anyone needed help. They simply all ignored everyone in the lobby. Taco Bell at Southpointe was clean, busy, and fast. The guy who took our order actually asked questions to make sure we got what we wanted. He was very polite and efficient working the counter and drive through in tandem with another employe. He offered to fill our cups with ice, since the ice machine was acting up, even asked how much ice each of us preferred. Booth and table were clean, and the food was fresh and fast. I have been to Taco Bell a bunch, who hasn't been there at least once, and I love the crunchwrap and a Baja Blast. The food at this location is as good as one can expect from Taco Bell. The problem here is the service. I like hot sauce with my food and this location likes to not give you any. I was handed my bag at the window by a lady and I checked to see if there was any sauce, spoiler alert there was none. I then asked her for some more only to be told rather rudely that was some in the bag. I assured her there wasn't and she again was adamant there there was. This went back and forth until she huffed off grabbed a random handful of whatever sauce she wanted and practically threw it at me. I bought a crunchwrap supreme at the 6700 South 27th street Taco Bell in the South Point area and it didn't have any tomato's and very little to none meat or lettuce in it. I have bought crunchwraps before at this location and have have about a 25% chance of getting some meat and lettuce in it. I just don't purchase the crunchwrap at this location anymore. I have purchased crunchwraps at other Taco Bells in Lincoln and they have meat and lettuce. I don't understand what the problem is at the South Point location. read more

Where did this Taco Bell go so wrong? It's located in such a nice area, but the place looks like garbage and customers are treated as such as well... The inside is very outdated with an old dusty tv, the old style look of taco bell, and some unappealing artwork. However, I'm not one to judge. As long as the food and service is good, I really don't mind... It wasn't busy when I stopped in at 8:00pm, yet it took quite some time for someone to take our order. The music playing was too loud to hear the cashier, so I had to assume what he was saying. Looking behind the counter, there was trash everywhere in the kitchen... sauce packets strewn about, cheese and lettuce littering the floor. Hardly any of the booths/tables were clean either. I had to search to find one that didn't have shredded cheese scattered all over it or dried up sauce. Then, when the worker called my name, I don't think it could have sounded much ruder! To top that off, as soon as I got my food, he went and sat with his obnoxious friends at a booth. My food seemed to be thrown into the bag as the wrapping on the tacos were all open and undone, but the food was fine. If you don't mind some sucky service or seeing trash everywhere while you eat, then you probably won't have much of an issue with this particular restaurant. read more

There are certain times in our adult lives when we have a strong desire to flash back to our high school years. There are also times in our adult lives when we are driving home from the airport, it's 10:00pm, and we are starving but don't want to leave our cars or make food. This weekend those two times collided, landing my husband and I at this Taco Bell. It was horrifying. I ordered a 7 layer burrito, not wanting to eat meat. We got home, I bit into my burrito, and found gobs of ground beef. Naturally I was upset. I was hungry. I was tired. I went back beyond my better judgement. When I quickly ate my replacement burrito I realized that I should have taken the gift of a wrong order to not eat any of their food. I felt hungover and sick the entire next day. I really don't understand why this Taco Bell is so dang slow. Doesn't matter if you're in the drive thru or heading inside to the counter. Are they super understaffed, or don't schedule for lunch and dinner rushes? Don't train their kitchen staff to handle said rushes? Poor management? Whatever it is, this location needs help. The lady I had in the drive thru was incredibly pleasant though, and some of the workers I've interacted with in the lobby were polite, but it was still very noticeable that they were scrambling around trying to do too many things at once. One time I went in for lunch and there was only one person working the drive thru and the front counter, telling us whoever was supposed to be working with him went on break so he had to go between both. Who would ever think it was a good idea to have someone go on break during a possible lunch rush? I really hope that this Taco Bell can get on track because I would stop there a lot more if it meant getting through quickly with hot food. read more

He's always so genuine and enthusiastic about his job making my experience very good. The food is fast and of good quality. Not having anything to do with Covid, this place has gone down hill. I was told to wait around at the side door while I waited on "fresh fries" come to find out all of my food wasn't warm. YUCK...This has got to be the nastiest Taco Bell I have ever eaten at. First of all the bathroom was dirty and smelled terrible, when I went to order there was a boy in front of me who tried to order two different types of slushies that are on the menu and he was told they were out of both. When I ordered my food I noticed that everyone was trying to get ice from the machine in the lobby that was broken so I asked for ice out of the drive thru, " nope that one is broken also!" As the employee laughed about that, I saw that the cover to the ice machine was laying on the ground and I was glad I didn't drink ANYTHING out of that unit!! The inside was covered in what appeared to be BLACK MoLD!! My food came fairly quickly, but after the rest of my experience at this place I was afraid to eat it. Line was short at the drive through so I went for it. Got the $5 super craving combo or something. It had a gordita, a burrito, a taco, and some chips with this questionable cheese product to dip them in. The dude in the drive through was very friendly and the food was made quickly. AND THEN MY LIFE CAME TO A HALT I reached into my bag and felt the taco. Before I could grasp the situation the taco slid from its loosely wrapped containment and emptied itself into the bag over everything else. G#$*^&% D*&$#())!!!! I screamed all by myself in my vehicle as terrified senior citizens looked over and picked up the pace to evacuate the vicinity. I grabbed my six shooters and unloaded on anything nearby that moved. In total, several bunnies and squirrels lost their lives that day, due to some incompetent *&%*^* that didn't wrap the taco correctly. I just got out of the regional center. They have given us a wrong item or left something out six consecutive times in a row. I know what you're think, why continue to order from there with that luck? They had been kind enough to give us a coupon a few times, so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and chance my luck once more. Except last time I went there, I waited around 30 minutes inside due to a long line for the drive through. I had ordered a Fiesta Taco salad and my grandmother ordered a few other things(no cheesy potatoes, this is relevant later). If you don't mind waiting 20 to 30 minutes after they take your order inside, or waiting over 20 minutes with four cars in front of you at the drive-thru, then this is your place. The food is the same Taco Bell food at other locations but you get the added bonus of wasting your life waiting for your food. Their fun sides are what makes the experience all the more enjoyable. The starburst freeze was a great treat on this hot Nebraska summer day. Even better was the Cap'n Crunch delights. Small, warm, sugary, and soft that reminded me of a funnel cake, Cap'n Crunch, and a toaster strudel. I would go so far as to say...they are amazeballs. I would avoid this location at all costs. I ordered my food, which was the $5 featured box, inside. And after waiting 35 minutes and I still didn't have my food, I complained. The person at the counter got the manager to give me refund. When he got to the register he stared at me blankly and said, "Why am I talking to you again? Oh, a refund, that's right." I got no apology or anything, simply a "we're training people". After receiving my refund I still had to wait nearly 10 minutes for my food. I had to wait a total of 45 minutes to get my food at a Taco Bell!
