    birria tacos tijuana
    Robin D.

Me and my boyfriend literally just found out Los Gonzales closed () so we came here to get our birria taco fix! We went through the drive through and it was a bit of a wait. We also did not get what we meant to order... the online menu said that the taco tijuanas came with rice/beans but when we asked after receiving our order it was actually the COMBO that came with rice/beans and the taco tijuanas is just the birria tacos. idk whatevr i guess that was a mess up on our part but they should really correct it on the website to avoid any confusion lol the actual food was okay, i wish the birria and consume was more flavorful because it was pretty plain. nothing can beat los gonzales and ill be crying for the next week now that they're closed

The staff was very kind and helpful to help clarify if my Dad (who is deathly allergic to seafood and shellfish) could eat there. They let us know that the asada fries would be safe for him to eat and he loved them. He really raved about the carne asada. I liked my tacos tijuana but it wasn't the best birria I've had. It was nothing I was super impressed by and my Dad had really hyped this place up. The ambiance is very unique with the super bright colors and lots of their logos as well as words. They have a HUGE cold bar with lots of salsas, chips, beans, limes, and so many other toppings. The beans and rice were alright. It just wasn't anything that I would be excited for again or rave about. However, my Dad would definitely want to come back. They also have tons of ice cream that we didn't try but looked good.

Great street tacos! The lingua was by far my favorite! We also tried the nachos- they're a much larger portion than what was shown online! I loved the concept of the toppings bar in the middle. I would have loved to had seen queso on it. Highly recommend!

The food is so bomb & the concept of the open bar for chips, salsa varieties & everything is amazing. The servers don't bother you too much. Comfy cozy good vibes just go.

WOW! Incredible, we went here on a Friday late lunch and found one of the last parking spots! This place was SO PACKED! The vibe is so fun and menu is extensive from tortas, quesadilla birria, birria tacos! I got Al pastor, birria, asada tacos! The Al pastor was salty, but asada and birria was amazing!! We also got the California burritos you might want to share this one, it's the size of a bag of flour! Everything we had was great! The topping bar was so convenient for those who like more or less toppings!

Omg - This place lived up to all the hype I was hearing from everyone! It was the best al pastor street taco I've ever had! The tortilla tastes homemade and thick! There is a great nacho bar if you dine in - with literally every topping you can think of! Portion sizes are very large!

All the food we've had has been fresh and delicious! The salsa bar is the icing on the cake! The aguas frescas are so good and you can tell they are made from scratch and not powder.

Hands down best tacos in town, fresh and full of flavor, they overload each taco with delicious Smokey meat, Asada, Birria, pollo, chorizo, al pastor, all amazing, a nice addition is fresh salsa and toppings bar to load your tacos. Very colorful and fun inside, haven't tried the desserts and ice-cream but all look very good. There is a 3.99% service fee if you use a credit card, no additional fees for debit or cash. Will be a regular here!!!

This is perhaps the best Mexican food in Lincoln! I had Birria Burritos with beans & rice & Kim had Tacos LaIsla with beans & rice. They have a huge condiment bar & about any desert you could want. Food was perfect & enough for three people!

I rate this place a 4.25! There is a topping station where you can build your tacos the way you desire. There was radishes, cucumbers, red onions, white onions, sour cream, cheese, three kinds of salsa, and more. There was plenty of meat and more than enough food. We got 7 tacos, chips and salsa for 30 dollars. You are paying for the atmosphere and the sit down experience. The service was friendly and helpful. The food runners were polite and extroverted as well. The building was popping on the Friday night we decided to dine here. The only way this place could improve to a 5 is by improving their meat quality. I thought the steak was a little chewy. I prefer a more tender cut that is grilled well. My favorite taco we got was the chorizo (although my boyfriend's favorite was the el pastor)!

Let me preface this by saying, this is still one of my favorite restaurants for Mexican food,…read morehowever I don't think the alcohol/margarita drink menu lists prices, which I don't like. The past few times I've been here the prices on the margaritas are $12.99, $13.99 or more for the ones I've /we've ordered. $12.99 one was the house margaritas on the rocks and had a decent amount of alcohol in it. The other one we had was a watermelon blended ($12.99 also). Could hardly taste any alcohol. Seemed like it was from a premade mix that had alcohol already in it. I thought the house one was better. I sometimes I get the Julian one, (I think that's the name?) which is quite good, but the last time I ordered it was $1.00 more expensive than my entree, which I think is ridiculous! I think they do have mid week specials on certain margaritas though. The margaritas have prob have been this high or close to it for a while, but my husband usually pays the bill and I usually don't look at it. I've paid the bills the past few times so I've been more aware. Prob just going to order only water to drink in the future or maybe a margarita on a special occasion. Pls start listing prices on margarita menu. Also why don't birria tacos come with any sides (rice/beans)? $15.99 seems a little excessive for 3 tacos when a lot of your other entrees come with both? I know it's a popular thing to order nowadays and don't think it comes with sides at other restaurants though either. Maybe there is more meat in them than it looks, that costs more, to not include sides?!? The usual wait staff (I think it's a family owned restaurant...parents and adult kids?) are always fabulous!! Newer staff could be a bit more attentive recognizing when you are out or low on chips, salsa or water/non alcoholic drinks. Would make it easier/less stressful for regular wait staff too. Otherwise, all is well and still a great place to eat!! Will be back!!
