Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday's and if you buy 3, you get a free 4th taco. I had 2 ground beef and 2 birria tacos as did my wife. Fresh homemade taco sauces to choose from. My first bite was in the birria taco and it burst with flavor - which says a lot because my taste buds aren't in full swing after having transplant surgery 3 weeks ago!! Wife really enjoyed them too. Go out and get you some! Pay attention to their hours of operation in that they shut down 2 hours each day for siesta! They reopen afterward.

Strewn with a liberal application of jalapeños and served with a big basket of fresh tortilla chips, this is the best way to start any meal but certainly the only way to start a meal here. We followed with Fish Fry Tacos (2 for $16.50), equally fresh, unique, and satisfying and not the type of fish tacos for which San Diego is known. Accompanied by your choice of 2 sides, I loved the "Smashed Smoky Pinto Beans" and was transfixed by the fresh flavors found in the "Tomato, Cucumber, and Mint Salad".
