I would have liked a refill on my soda. There were only 5 people in the restaurant counting us! Plenty of help in the back doing whatever. Not sure what directions the manager is giving, if any. Lady sitting alone behind us had been here a while and still not gotten her food. Maybe I'll give them a chance again in another year.

Today I decided to go in hopes of some improvements. The only good part of this experience was the customer service. The bathroom and sitting area was pretty clean but the trash can by the door was completely stuffed full and overflowing. The quality of their food hasn't changed at all and is just as disappointing as it was before. I could have eaten my entire soft shell taco in two bites with the amount of beef it was lacking. The potato oles are, in my opinion, the best part of my meal here but today they were not. The outside was very dark in color, crunchy, and hard with a heavy taste of grease. While the insides were not done at all, making me wonder if the frying oil is ever changed. I use to love eating at Taco John's but nothing about the food makes me want to come back here. It's always the same disappointing experience for me. I hope sometime in the near future this place realizes it and does something about it!
