Manager did nothing while another costumer was verbally assaulting me and threatening to hit me, then blamed me for the lady threatening me. I did nothing but the lady was 40+ years older than me (she was probably 50 or so). This is by far the worst food experience I have ever had. I placed an order on the mobile app, received an alert that my order was ready to pick up inside. Went to the door, it was locked. Employees waving at me to go through the drive thru. Go to the drive thru and have to wait behind 3 cars for them to tell us we have to go back around and check in. Go back around and all of a sudden they don't have an order in my name. While I am trying to pull up my order, employees are telling me to leave while laughing and making fun of us through the speaker. Ordered burritos on the Taco Bell app. We stopped at Home Depot on 5 Mile then went to Taco Bell in the adjacent parking lot to pick up our order. Our truck, full of building materials, would not fit through the drive through. The door was locked with a sign on it. The people working (leaning against the counters) refused to come to the door. My husband walked to the drive through to explain the problem and pick up our food. They told him they would have to throw away our order because they can only give food to people in a vehicle through the drive up window. At that point, my husband drove the truck while I stood outside and motioned him gingerly through the drive through. I explained the problem again, along with the concern that we would not be able to get the truck out of the drive through, and they finally handed us our order. After getting out of the drive through I sent a message to the manager of the location expressing concern that workers cannot make common sense customer service decisions for unique situations. What if we'd been in a motor home? (No way that's going through the drive through at the 5 mile Rd. location!) Whoever responded to my email was unprofessional and rude. It was my fault because I should have called ahead, don't I know they're understaffed, and if I'd called ahead this could have been avoided because they would have told me not to come, essentially. I exchanged 4 emails with someone from Taco Bell and finally gave up. They don't want customers, can't staff the location, and really are just biding their time until they close for good. There are other places to get a burrito. Skip this Taco Bell. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. I know places are having trouble getting workers and I try to be very understanding about that. I came here about a week and a half ago with a mobile order. By the time I got up to the order window, they said sorry we're closed temporarily. Now the app could have not let me order or told me that but it didn't. That's okay I wrote it off as accidents happen and they must have had something happen that forced them to shut down. I just tried to go back again today and saw a huge line for the drive-thru. So, I placed a mobile order for pickup in the store. I go to walk up to the restaurant because the mobile parking spot say to come inside. All the doors are locked, there are workers in there servicing the drive-thru but don't acknowledge that you're at the door and there's a sign that says their dining room is closed. So how are they offering pick up mobile orders? Just going to have to write this location off. read more

The best taco bell in the area! Taco bell is my most frequented fast food establishment because they have a large selection of vegetarian options. I would drive to the ann arbor rd location frequently before this was built but I started to go less because the food was inconsistent and lines were slow. I have been to this new location many times and I have received nothing but excellent service; never any issues with my order, wonderful staff, fast drive thru, easy mobile ordering. Taco Bell Corp and this store need to get it together. Do not use the app if you're expecting anything remotely reliable! I've ordered on the app, arrived at the store and it's closed. Ordered on the app, selected in-store pick-up, got there and only option is to get trapped in the drive-thru because the doors are locked. When I gave up using the app and just went through the drive thru, they tell me at the speaker that they are only taking orders through the app. Are you kidding me with all this?!! The best part is the employees say they have no control over the app i.e. they cannot adjust it when the store is closed or it's drive-thru only. So we called Taco Bell corp to say how stupid this is and they said that's not true - the store does have control. Which would make sense since literally every other food chain adjusts their app to store conditions. Talked to the store again, they stilll say they have no control over the app, called corp again and they say that's not true it must be the district manager not training properly and they will take care of it. I am a truck driver and i made a moble order and doors were locked and i called the store and explained that a semi can not fit in the drive through and was told that i have to call a number to cancel my order because they dont do moble pick up at this location and also that i am not allowed to walk the drivethrough to get my purchased items. This Taco Bell is new to our area. I thought I would give it a try. It was awful. The line was fast but that is likely because they were just tossing things together. The marginally palatable fast food was somehow destroyed by this team. The taco shells were stale. The lettuce was giant hunks of the tough white bits. The quesadilla had no sauce and looked like it had been sitting out because the cheese was solidified. The donut holes were drenched in grease. We all felt physically ill after eating here. Taco Bell isn't the highest quality but it generally doesn't make us feel like we're going to throw up and give us diarrhea like this place did. Not sure how they broke it but they did. I will never eat here again. I will go all the way to grand river where I know the food won't make me ill. read more
