Went to dinner with some friends and decided to check this place out. AMBIANCE: definitely a casual place. place your order at the counter, and there are a dozen or so tables and booths where you can sit with your party. they have a number of pinball machines which adds to the "vibe" of the place. If I were in my teens again, I could see myself hanging out here quite a bit. SERVICE: the people working the counter were very friendly, and very busy as there were a lot of to go orders. Didn't have a lot of questions, though they did make recommendations that we found to be helpful. MENU: tacos, burritos and burgers oh my! You can also build bowls - choose your meat, toppings and away you go. They also have nachos and loaded fries which I am a big fan of. They only have one burger, and it is a smash burger, along with a chicken sandwich (both regular and spicy) FOOD: my wife went with a carne asada taco, while I opted for the smash burger. We also went with the carne asada loaded fries. Drinks are by the bottle, and nothing to outrageous to choose from, so we went with iced tea. the Carne asada on both the tacos and fries almost looked like ground beef, but upon close inspection, realized it was just chopped a bit finer than we were used to. The smash burger had a "big mac" flavor profile to it, and was tasty. The carne asada fries were good, and were more than enough for my wife and I. Ruckus needs to assume an identity and embrace it. Right now the ambiance is a hodgepodge of junk piled in the back corner (coolers, styrofoam containers, garbage cans and a generator), while in another corner there is a cute set of armchairs beside vintage coolers and enjoy gumball machines. There is also a wall of pinball games. As far as dining room seating goes, there are three booths that seat four, two tables for four, a table for eight, and a long bench that seems to serve no purpose. Upon entry, there's an off-putting musty smell, but the tables, chairs, and floor are clean. The woman who took our order was pleasant and friendly and stayed busy cleaning in between customers. When my husband asked for a cup of water for our dine-in order, she said they only have bottled water. That is tacky in my opinion. Then, when he bit into his grilled chicken burrito, the ingredients were lukewarm at best and did not melt the shredded cheese. The sliders I ordered were charred and dry, and I would not order them again. If this had been our first visit I would have given two stars, but the previous two visits were more favorable. What a fun place! There are cool arcade games when you walk in, staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was very clean inside. My husband got the Carne Asada Tacos and he loved them. Ruckus has been on my wish list of places to try for the past year or so. Finally got around to it before a hockey game at USA Hockey Arena last night. The place was clean. Lots of pinball machines were calling to my kids. Easy to order at the counter. I had a chicken taco, a barbacoa, and a chorizo. All with corn tortilla. The tortillas were great. The chicken was dry and tough. The barbacoa was delicious - flavorful and tender - but maybe a bit too juicy/mushy (made it hard to eat). The chorizo was my favorite of the tacos - spicy but not too spicy, tons of flavor. I was a wee bit surprised for an expensive boutique taco shop that we didn't have pastor, lengua, carnitas, or birria as options. I liked both the mild and spicy salsa but didn't try the salsa verde. No tortilla chips provided with meals like most competitors in the area. My dining companions assessed their food. The smash burger was not good. My 7 year old son listed 4 other places in the area with burgers priced less than $10-without-sides that he likes better - from my bite I stole from him, I would agree. The burritos may have been the stars of the show - delicious and full of great toppings and better than you would get from a local McDonald's-owned burrito competitor. The french fries were very good. For a place where you order at the counter, I felt like the price point was a bit rough. $67 (before gratuity) for four people, including two kids under 10 years old, with no leftovers. Three of us had sodas, and I drank tap water. I feel like with good Mexican food available at two other places within a 5 minute drive, I don't see myself going back to Ruckus anytime soon because this felt like more of a $10-per-person meal rather than a $15.50-per-person meal. read more

We first enjoyed ruckus at our neighborhood food trucks but now we come often to enjoy their tacos! Their salsa, queso and chips are very good as well. This is the best place to get tacos in the city of Canton, hands down. Love the way they decorated the place. The menu is very accessible, and the prices are not bad for what you get. I had no complaints with my fish, beef or chicken tacos. Each one was packed with so much flavor as well as ingredients. All the other Mexican inspired restaurants in the area are either a generic Tex Mex or low quality chain, so this was a refreshing discovery for me. read more

Loooved Ruckus Taco! The family behind the counter was super nice and the inside was perfect for a large family lunch. The little kids had space to run around and play with the pinball machines. We got 3 corn tacos - grilled chicken, barbacoa, and carne asada. All three were delicious and the corn tortillas hit the spot. We also got a grilled chicken burrito - it was super girthy and very filling. We loved everything we got! For me though, the star of the show was actually the homemade choco taco ice cream sandwich that we had. Ruckus is located on Joy Road in the old Olympic Coney Island restaurant. There are a few tables and booths to eat on site, but I elected to take out as I have adult beverages and chips at home. I ordered the burrito with beef barbaco, which is braised and shredded and tastes as good as it sounds. I also ordered medium salsa on my 1 pound burrito with no other added ingredients and my bill was $13.25. My server was pleasent and helpful while my meal was served up in 2 minutes. At home, I enjoyed the cumin lime rice taste treat and identified all the other ingredients as I savored each bite! A friend and I ordered a bowl and a chicken sandwich, however, the chicken sandwich did not look cooked and the fried bit just slid off. I like spicy food and the sandwich was right at my limit for heat. Right up there with the best I have eaten. Fries were great too. Churros were great too. I typically don't like shredded chicken tacos because they're usually very dry, but this was moist and flavorful. As I entered this restaurant, the walls were colorful. It seemed like a gathering place for junior high-school kids to early 20-somethings. There are pinball machines and a few other games inside. I ordered a smash burger with pickles only. I like to taste a burger without disguising it with extras. I also ordered a smash burger with cheese, pickles, and sauce. Each burger came with 2 patties. A decent-sized burger. Burgers cost $10 ea. Go with an extra patty for just $3. It will be worth it. I liked the burger, but next time, I will add the sauce. I did take a sample of the cheeseburger. For not usually like Cheese on my burger, but it was very good. I also ordered 6 barbacoa tacos with lettuce, cheese, salsa, and cheese sauce. Tacos cost $4 each. The cheese sauce is overwhelming, but the Taco is still good tasting. To finalize the order, I ordered seasoned fried. They were OK. Fries $6. My takeout order was ready when I expected it. I was so excited to try this place, I was starving and just left work and needed to return some Amazon. Located right next door to ups where I drop off ups for my Amazon returns. The one girl at the register was just unhappy to be there and when asked questions she had no idea. The other girl was super sweet.
