This is our go-to taco place, Come here for the best authentic tacos. Great service, cute restaurant and the best food! Definitely a must try!

Great lunchtime taco spot! The red carne asada tacos with the green sauce were delicious!

Delicious, authentic tacos. The al pastor tacos were particularly good in my opinion and the complimentary chips and salsa were another big pro to the meal. If you're looking for a quick and delicious spot this is a great place!

The service was on point. The food was very good at a reasonable price. We came in and sat right down with no issues. Food was made quick and seasoned well. We had Raman soup.

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. It wasn't super crowded when we came thankfully but it did feel lively. My red tacos were so crunchy and flavorful, and the consomme on the side was exquisite. Wasn't expecting to find a place like this in Royal Oak

Great food! The prices are very reasonable for the size of the portions! If you like leftovers this is the place for you! The service, like all Mexican restaurants was very swift and quick. They were very flexible and accommodating since my family originally wanted carry out. The restaurant was very small so on a busy day I recommend carry out! The TVs had SpongeBob playing so welcome all millennials do for was simple and cozy. Next time I'm in Detroit... I will be back. Thanks for a yummy time Que Pasa Tequeria!

its fine not adding the 3 green sauce if it is an added cost but still unable to separate this order as requested?

food is excellent but service can be better. they are unable to follow/grant a simple instruction/request such as placing a box of food on a separate bag. they even printed the instructions on the receipt. not the first time it happened.

Red tacos Combo #3: Steak, Birria, and Pastor. WOW.

Unassuming place yet absolutely incredible! With a party of 12, we tried a lot of things and everything was beyond amazing. Fresh, perfectly prepared, and the service was so friendly and kind. It's really too bad. Wish we lived closer, but anytime we're out this way, this is at the top of the list!!

The Mexican Street Tacos and Wet Burrito were still the same great menu items as before except much more expensive. The prices were still within range of other Mexican restaurants. But, unlike other Mexican restaurants, the chips and salsa were not complimentary but cost extra. I was not impressed with the restaurant, though. We were first seated at a table/booth combination and the booth upholstery was totally torn and had been taped and not very well. Very unpleasant, so we moved to a better location. The service was not exceptional even though there were barely any customers. There are a plethora of Mexican restaurants in the area now, so we will be searching for a new one that offers complimentary chips and salsa and nicer ambiance. Las Tortugas Taqueria, you really should have stayed at your last location (even with limited parking), which was so crowded at lunch and dinner time you could barely get a seat.

Immediately upon entry, I was slightly turned off. The dining area was dirty and dingy. And the person taking the orders seemed to be having a rough go at life, with a bit of a snap in their tone. We ordered our food to-go, which took about 10 minutes or so. The kitchen area looked cleaner than the dining area, thankfully. When we got home, we ate our tacos. They were alright. The chips were delicious. They do have a selection of four different salsas to choose from, which I enjoyed. I love supporting local, however, not sure if I will be back.

My wife and I have been running errands and wanted to try something new for supper and found this place on yelp. When we arrived it seemed a little quiet, but the hostess/waitress quickly appeared and showed us to a table. From there everything went smoothly. I opted for a plate of enchiladas, and found them to be very well prepared and seasoned. The salsa had that wonderful tomato forward texture to it that I enjoy very much. The room is small, and it's clear that they get most of their business on carryout. That being said I think if you showed up with a somewhat larger party they would be glad to take care of you. They certainly took good care of us.

Being that I'm on this side of town for a few days, I figured it was finally time to check it out. The location's much bigger with more seating than the Rochester Hills one. Nicely decorated with ample seating, you order at the counter and they run the food out to you. Not sure if they have waitresses or not, but that's how they were running it when I was there. I asked if they had Birria tacos and the man behind the counter said they do, just not on the menu. I ordered the taco dinner with shredded beef, rice, beans and a glass of water. I got served chips and dip which was okay, but the salsa was a bit runny for my liking. The "hot" salsa was good, and wasn't overpowering. Eventually, my food came out and it was a huge portion! I was impressed with all three tacos, rice and beans. It was only $13 on the menu, so I was happy with how much food I was served. The beef was a little on the dry side but still fairly good. Rice and beans were decent, but the music was a bit on the louder side. I docked a star for the meat being a bit dry and louder music considering it wasn't really necessary. The man who rang me up was super nice and friendly and also went through the menu with me since I had a few questions before ordering. Overall, a decent meal for the price and I'd return in the future.

Service is good the cashier was pleasant and friendly. I happened to stop by on Taco Tuesday while visiting the Detroit Burbs. With a name like Taco Kings I expected amazing tacos. These were quite disappointing. The daily special was blah and the tacos were mediocre. My friend told me she enjoys the nachos and quesadillas here. I probably should have tried that instead of tacos. That probably was my sign and a hint to try her favorites. The street taco (steak) lacked in seasoning and was a bit chewy. The Tuesday Special hard shell taco barely had cheese. It was loaded with tomatoes more than anything else. The meat wasn't well seasoned either. The tacos are definitely a NO for me. When and if I visit again I might try my friend's suggestions to see if the outcome is better. Prices are reasonable and it was tidy inside. I ordered my birria tacos with a side of rice and a can of sprite. They don't do fountain drinks here so I also requested a glass of water. The food was very good, and the rice was good but I wasn't in love with it. It started to taste funny after a while and I couldn't finish it. Hard to say why, but it is what it is. They have all the fixings at the tables so you don't have to get up to ask for more napkins or essentials. They also have a great selection of hot sauce to choose from so have at it.
