Do you remember eating Taco Bell as a child? No matter how good or bad it was, it was great. I had that experience today. I ordered on the app, and when we checked in the AMAZING employee at the window double checked our order and sent us up to the window. He offered us water while we waited for our food (SO kind) and then the food was FRESH and LOADED. Best TB quesadilla I've had in years. The potato soft taco was loaded with ingredients. So my son was playing baseball across the street at the Sunset HS baseball fields, but I failed to have lunch, so I carefully crossed Science Park Dr. and headed over to the Bell. It was pretty quiet inside so I walked up to the registers. There was someone waiting in front of me so I just got behind him and waited to be helped. We waited a while (I am guessing he more than I, since he was there before me) after a few minutes an employee who was sitting in the dining area asked us if we were waiting for our order. We said "No" and he advised that we had to use the kiosk. We said ok and he apologized for our wait and gave us a free fountain drink. The food was the best I have ever had at a Taco Bell. After I ordered at the Kiosk, I did have to wait a few mins, but the tacos and burrito was fresh and flavorful. I am familiar with Taco Bell, so I had only low expectations when I agreed to take my family on the way home from delivering food to the grandparents. They erred on the customizations, most importantly a beef to chicken substitution. Tried to call, they didn't answer and their mailbox is full. Well, I parked because the drive through line was around the block and I just wanted a little snack to tide me over. But the food took nine and a half minutes for a bean burrito and a veggie loaded potato. That's a pretty long ticket time for this sort of an operation. Wow, what a terrible display from an already terrible restaurant. I already went to a previous Taco Bell which is negative in almost every way imaginable and I was hoping this Taco Bell would at the very least be slightly better. I was wrong. This restaurant is the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to, much worse than the other one. I may need to apologize to the other one as while they still fail in almost every way they are comparatively much better after watching this abomination. I had a very specific request: * Cheese Quesadilla without Creamy Jalapeno * 2 Crunchy Taco * Chips N' Cheese * Large Dr. Pepper Yeah I eat a lot- I need comfort food after Taco Bell minus minimum wage staff aren't paid enough to bother providing half-decent service. Maybe I just need to get back into cooking. When I was in the drive-thru the person handed me my drinks then the bag, telling me that straws were in the bag. I got home and opened the bag. There were not any straws in them. Fortunately I had some saved. Next I pulled out the cheese sauce and looked for the chips. There were not any. I understand-- "Chips N' Cheese" is easily confusable with "cheese". After all, it may be useful if I want to stare at it incase I forgot what the color yellow looks like. Then I ate my crunchy tacos. Both of them broke instantly as if they were thrown into the bag. I was already extremely annoyed at the terrible meal so then I ate my quesadilla. It tasted a little weird at first then it became clear what I was tasting was creamy jalapeno. Impressive. Not even a single part of the order was correct. I probably should have checked the reviews before going there in the first place as it seems many other people have similar stories. I wish I could give a negative number. I don't know how many other people have experienced this, but I ordered a bunch of items and the total was nearly $40. When the Doordash guy arrived (which I was leery about since EVERY TIME I order and it's delivered by them its all messed up) I asked him are you sure this is all? I order a lot of stuff! So, wanting to get my money back since they back stole $25 from me, I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. She didn't care even tho they literally are the ones that made the order. She told me to contact Doordash, that the info was on the receipt. Nope, its not. Then she said it was in the app under my orders. Nope, wrong again. She works for them and doesn't even know what is on their receipts or app, great. So I told her hey I just want my money you guys didn't fill my order, she said I'd have to reach out online. I exposing that I had gotten no response to 4 attempts, she didn't care, not her problem. This happened on 6/23. I finally filled on the BBB website and guess what? They don't respond to that either. Nice to know that this company is just a bunch of theives who don't care if they steal your money, you're not getting it back. They will not be getting another penny from me. read more
