I've gone here late night many times. Food is fresh. The only time I prefer to go is when Joseph is working. An older gentleman that is super friendly. I had one incident recently when there was another crew and the food wasn't hot at all. Went back to the drive thru to get a refund and the so called manager Nicky wasn't apologetic and lied and told me they don't give refunds. She also argued with me when I told her her food warmers have been off for hours. As far as the refund, she then told me I'd need to wait and hour to get approval from the district manager. I said let's wait. Im sure she didnt expect me to say thay sonce ot was almost 4 am and they were closing. 5 mins later i had my refund. This was only one incident. But every other time is great! just terrible. they have the SLOWEST person on register during the night, which after working a 12 hour shift is NOT acceptable, not ever. This is fast food, be fast. Name one thing on the menu that takes more than 6 minutes to make, you can'. This is one of the better Taco Bell locations. It's very clean and the employees are very friendly. The service is very good and prompt. By far my favorite menu item is the Chicken Cantina Burrito. They have it in bowl style as well. I would have taken a picture of it to show you but it was so good that I ate it right away. read more

Probably the best Taco Bell I've ever been to and continuously go to. Also one of the few fast food locations in general where the employees are objectively very nice. They are not without there occasional screw up with an order, maybe a bit more common than regular. But I assume this is based on "who" is either prepping the food and/or taking the order. Regardless, only occasionally does it feel like the food is prepared bad in general. It's likely from a newer worker as there have been some very long time people working there that are great at their job. Makes me think this place is franchised owned, and the owner actually treats the workers well. Which most company owned tend to not do so. Franchise owners can be even worse. But if this one is, then it certainly doesn't apply by the overall vibe of this Taco Bell. Service was a 10/10 . Loved the guy at the speaker . Tacos were a 2 . Food was almost inedible. Had 3 nacho cheese Doritos locos tacos & a volcanoes taco . All taco shells were stale a.f. Either they're old or they took them right out the box and served them without heating them . Customer service is not dead. If you care to witness it in person go through the drive thru at this location when Joel is working and you will experience it first hand. Food is what you expect, its fast food for Pete's sake but the customer service displayed by this incredible employee is 5 star. Not surprising he is an older gentleman who has lived life and understands how to communicate in business and life in general. One employee in particular is beyond awesome, JOE!! He was beyond nice, great smile, and looked so happy to be there! It's nice to see someone so happy working, he was so upbeat and friendly. Personalities like his are contagious, he had me in a better mood in like 2 seconds. The people who take the drive through orders are always very kind and can speak clear English. 5 Stars for Joe! I recently relocated back to the area after moving out of state for the last 10+ years. I used to come to this location all the time with my best friend before she passed. Taco Bell Joe as he is adoringly nicknamed is STILL here! Which is they ONLY reason we came here. I mean dont get me wrong, I love a good taco and Mexican food but Taco Bell doesn't hit the spot when craving a good quesadilla. However, this location even when Joe isn't on is always friendly and have been more than patient when I have no clue what I want in the drive thru. Or completely understanding and help fill me in on a menu item because I can't read the menu that far away. (Old age is creeping up on me I guess...Crap!!) So, if I do get the Taco Bell munchies. No matter where I am in the Daytona Area I will drive the the South Daytona location all because of Taco Bell Joe and the staff that are helpful here. read more

When I lived in Ponce Inlet from 2004 to 2008 I used to come to this taco bell at times. The guys at the drive thru window were always nice and asked if I wanted any sauce. My favorite item here is the nacho supreme, the 7 layer burrito and the bean burrito!! read more

I stopped eating Taco Bell awhile back because the one in Deland (where I used to live) was so bad. But since moving to the area I tried this location and to my suprise not only is the staff overly friendly but the food is fresh, crunchy, and tastey! I've eaten here 3 more times since! My only complaint is I drive a large F150 and its very nurve wracking when going through the drive through. They have barricades because of the way the place is built, on a ramp. I just know ill hit the guard rail one of these days! read more

So I come to this taco bell quite a bit, and decided to go inside to sit down and eat, as I'm waiting to order, i tell the cashier just 1 moment, and when I'm ready to order, she just stands there and says nothing. So I ask "Are you ready?" and she doesn't respond, and she's looking right at me, and then i start to order, and she just walks away towards the food line. So i decided to go through the drive through, and ordered. They forgot our guacamole, all of our sauce. Bad customer service. The bathroom was also very unsanitary. When it comes to fast food, you can't get any better then this location. I recently ate at this location and found it awesome! The food actually looked and tasted has advertised and the customer service was amazing. I don't know who the new manager is there, but he was very good at his job. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly "Hello! How are you? Welcome to Taco Bell!" which I was not expecting at all. Then I ordered and while my food was being made the (what appeared) to be the mgr made small talk with me. I was thinking "All this service at a Taco Bell?" Like I said earlier the food tasted great and wasn't falling apart like most fast food does from being whipped together so quickly. Been to many T Bells in my day haha. We stopped by here for a quick bite. Around 6. The cashier seemed so miserable I felt so bad for her. Blandly took our order and sent us on our way. Got our food I got a quesadilla and not a piece of cheese was melted on it so I walked up to the counter to ask for it to be reheated. The cashier and another worker were counting change in the drawer and as I said hello they quickly sushed me by telling me I'd have to wait. I then saw them counting and patiently waited as other employees there just stared at me. Then I asked politely if it could be heated up. A lady grabbed my box and threw it away and said it'll be a minute. I understand we all have off days but no one even looked up at me. No big deal I felt bad for asking for it to be recooked anyway but a 7$ quesadilla meal. I atleast wanted it warm. Got a new dilla, a new girl cooked it for me she was very nice ( long brown hair ). The food was then soooo good. But overall service was eh. Great tasting though. I was happy & full after we left. This is the best Taco Bell my husband and I have been to. They were courteous, fast and delicious. We will be visiting them again.
