Just had the absolute worst interaction I have ever had with a customer service representative here. Now I'm not usually the person that writes reviews especially bad ones but the customer service was downright awful. The manager Alex and the staff working the night of 8/25, met us with extreme disrespect. I simply asked them to put an item on the side and not on the taco so I could heat it up for work in the morning without having to remove the cold toppings myself! It was a simple request and I was very polite. The person taking our order got snappy with us and set the tone for the rest of the interaction. He was apparently upset and stepped away and was replaced by the cashier Evannie, who told us to and I quote "wrap this shit up because we're taking too long" when in all reality it was a simple request that was completed when Evannie stepped in. I then asked at the window what exactly the issue was because I have never once been rushed at a drive thru window with 0 cars behind me. The cashier at the window yelled and I quote "get these people out of my f****** window". Absolutely disgusting the way they treated me and my team after a 12 hour day at work. I then received the food and my Mexican pizza was smashed and I was missing the toppings for my tacos. Unless Taco Bell started a new recipe and only puts lettuce and sour cream on their tacos I'm missing multiple items (picture attached.) I'm requesting that the team review the training that goes over appropriate ways to interact with customers. I debated wether or not I should post this because i normally just stew on it stay mad for a few minutes and then go on about my day. But the fact that I showed nothing but respect to this team and was met with cursing and hostility. I will be following this up to see my request through to the end. I hope the mad cashier can figure out how to put items on the side without becoming overly hostile. read more

the food is very good, i come to this taco bell very frequently. they have such good customer service i ordered a crunch wrap and there was almost no meat in it, i had already gotten home when i opened it and i called them up and explained the issue and they were very friendly and offered if i come back they will make me a new one for free, i went back and all the staff was very friendly the guy who gave me the new crunchwrap asked if i had a drink and i said i didn't and immediately he pulled a cup from under the counter so i could also have a drink. made my day!! read more

I completely agree with the previous reviews. This is by far the worst Taco Bell I've every been to. Literally everything is horrible. The dining room is gross. Do they ever clean? The bathrooms are even worse. When I finally did get my food after what seemed forever in line (the cashier seemed like she could give af about being there), it took an even longer time to get my food. When I received my food, the order was wrong. Surprise surprise. I asked for them to correct it and what an attitude I got! At this point I was so frustrated I just wanted my money back. I wanted to thank the people who worked there. They were amazing and friendly. I know that your suppose to buy food but I didn't have time. I told them I would leave $5 for the next person who came in and take it off their bill. they refused and instead told me thank you for all you do, I'm a visiting nurse and at times it's hard to find a place to go to the bathroom in between patients. I just wanted to say thank you and I will definitely stop in when I have more time and buy some foods to support them. read more

I'm soooo sick of them never getting simple orders right. It's bad enough there is always an item missing. This has been going on for years but we still go once in a while because it's the closest one to the house. It's simple things they screw up like ( a chalupa w/added nacho cheese) and they will give a chalupa with NO nacho cheese and then not even add the sour cream that comes with it. They mess up every order, they use less product than they are supposed to in order to stretch profits, the inside of the building is disgusting and the staff is very unwelcoming. I try to review chains as little as possible but this taco bell is awesome!!!!! they are open pretty late and I often stop here on the way home from a bar. when taco bell stopped making cheesy gordita crunch, my friends and I just kept asking for it. after about 2 weeks this location started making them again but they were not on the menu. Good food at a good price. It is clean and updates the menu periodically. People tend to under rate fast food chains. But put this food on a fancy plate and pay twice as much and the ratting would go way up. This Mexican food is as good as any. read more

I had the worse experience ever with this particular Taco bell, first of all I was in line for 29 minutes after placing my order, once I reached the window, I politely asked if the meal was still hot, after waiting almost 1/2 hour. The wannabee cook stormed the window after being informed of my request for hot food, yelling "fuk* what the fuc* you want me to do ? burn your damn food? its already fuc**** hot,. I said first of all you aren't going to talk to me like that, and second of all, you will not get away with that mouth in front of my 11 yr old son ,whom was in my car during his tantrum. I asked for his name from the MGR which refused to give me his correct name, I later found out his name is EDWIN,. I totally get having a bad day, but when you have a job dealing with the public, you are held to a certain higher standard, and hired with a positive attitude, I am 100% sure EDWIN, did not have the interview and state that he "sucks" when dealing with the public under pressure. I went in there today 12/06/15 and the place was a pig pen, food was all over the floor, the tables looked as if they hadn't been washed in weeks, I didn't go in there to eat today I went with the hope of finding a real MGR that gave a damn, but no such luck. Anyway, my next quest will be to contact corporate office, and for future reference, my son and I will never go to Taco bell again. Another observance today, a female employee, went into the bathroom , came out within 1-2 minutes and I am absolutely positive she did not stop to wash her hands, she proceeded to pull her HAIR up in a pony tail, and get back on the food line. We are truly disappointed in the treatment and service we received at the Taco Bell on Sumner Ave. in Spfld. To find out that the clerk speaking to us at the drive-thru was the manager was even more disturbing. For one, when you don't understand what a customer has said, replying, "Huh?" repeatedly is just plain rude and ignorant. Then we asked for a dozen delights. He only had eight. OK...no alternative or offer stating when more would be available??? Oh, we also asked for the smothered burrito prominently displayed on the drive-thru menu, but were abruptly told that they don't carry it anymore. We finish our order and the manager asked us to verify the order displayed on the screen. What was on the screen looked nothing like our order, and when we told him it wasn't correct, he hurriedly rattled off an order, that yet again, was incorrect. We asked him to repeat it. Now he repeats it like we're slow. We make corrections to the order. He takes an impatient tone and tells us to pull forward. We were ready to pay, but after noticing he was wearing the title of manager, felt moved to question his way of waiting on customers. He proceeds to tell us that they are timed as they wait on customers in the drive- thru and get in trouble if they don't meet certain standards. We tried to explain that has nothing to do with the customer. To our surprise, he told us it actually does and we should know what we want to order when we get to the window. At this point, we ask for our money back, and, with a shrug, he shut his window. We typically spend $30 a week at that Taco Bell, but will no longer do so. It's sad that poor customer service by the "manager" will keep us from eating there again. read more
