Poor, poor reflection of taco bell. This specific store has no quality. No standards, and no control of their output. Food was missing from my order. No meat was put in my burrito. My other crunch wrap supreme was insignificant, with nothing to be wrapped. It was paper thin and wrapped in more hair than tortilla. My sons quesadilla was burnt. For everything in my order to be messed up so badly, this shows the lack of care from the employees. The store owner needs to step up and take control of his/her store. And @tacobell needs to seriously start some quality control over their franchisees. The workers here are amazing. But they're AC went out on a VERY hot and humid night and upper management forced them to stay and work the store in inhumane conditions. So... this was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant in my life today. I have never encountered such blatantly rude and disrespectful employees. This Broad St., Sumter, SC location doesn't deserve a 1-star, couldn't give a "0". Average wait time in going through Drive-Thru is about 15 to 17 mins PER CUSTOMER. The wait time on the inside is just as bad. Their video footage affirms this. Additionally, you can visit sometime before 8 pm and they "don't have any meat available". WOW. The CONSTANT POOR OPERATION of this location is a clear reflection of the POOR MANAGEMENT. I guess the location makes it okay for The Brand, the Parent Company to allow for the POOR OPERATION. This is the worst Taco Bell I have ever been too! Have given it a chance several times but have always been let down. First time, they said they ran out of soft tacos and taco meat. Second time, they ran out of lettuce. And every time we go, something is always missing from our order. Went today and started off with them not having half of their Pepsi products. Then as we were paying, they didn't have enough money to give us change. They told us to pull around and wait for our order, which seems to happen to every car that goes through the drive thru. About ten minutes later, we get our order and are missing a quesadilla and 4 tacos. They bring out our quesadilla and then proceed to ask for the receipt for the tacos, which was not given to us. We have now been waiting for about 45 minutes for our entire "fast food" order. I highly recommend finding a different place to eat when you're in a rush or want all the food you pay for. read more

While visiting Taco Bell on Broad St. in Sumter, SC for APPROXIMATELY 20 minutes ONCE WE RECEIVED OUR ORDER... these two employees took what must of been a much needed break because they took two while we were there. While on break and her phone a car came to the drive thru and interrupted her break BUT that didn't stop her break. She took their order sitting right where this picture was taken. It had to be something for $5 because their total was $5.50 so really for her it was kinda easy..... She finally decided to give them time to drive up and went to do her duties of taking their money and giving them their food before returning......the MOST UPSETTING THING, Is we were the only two people in the Taco Bell until two other young gentlemen walked in. They were deaf or at least one was as they were using American Sign Language. This must of been a big thing for the employees of this store as they thought it was amusing from their point to stop what they were doing and come to the front to stare and talk about these young gentlemen. We were eating our food and if it hadn't been for one of the employees stating to the other that both must have been deaf because one of them had some type of hearing aid in their ear. It didn't matter to us If they would have come in the restaurant flying in on a purple unicorn, they were humans just like each one of us were at that location tonight and should have been treated with respect. On another note only one food preparer was seen with gloves on and the shift manager whom was just coughing up a Lung proceeded to go back on the preparing line without washing her hands or putting on gloves and prepare something and no one had hairnets and no matter how long the hair was a small visor isn't sufficient in my book but who am but a paying customer and might I add THE LAST VISIT PAYING CUSTOMER TO TACO BELL... I've seen employees standing around the prep areas chatting on cell phones and talking about who they hooked up with at the club the night before, which is probably why it's taken as much as 16 minutes to get my order before. Up until just a few weeks ago (yes, I keep going back because I need my Taco Bell fix) I never once got my correct order but recently they've employed some friendlier, more competent individuals. I went today and it was the most awful experience. I don't want to overuse the terms "afraid" "threatened " or "scared" but upon entering there had been an altercation with an employee and a customer over tacos and putting cheese on the tacos or something like that. There were four people working well employed but maybe 1.5 working. The young lady who was in this altercation was walking around puffing her chest making loud comments and cursing as she walked through the restaurant and was sitting in the dining room talking about the customer and going from door to door mentioning how she wishes she'd come back and she was ready. Another employee was on his phone in the drive thru area and then another who may have been working but was just standing by the food. The only person working was the manager and as she tried to rein in the employees nothing happened because this girl kept saying I'm going to F*** quit watch me walk out and made more comments about how she wasn't doing anything as she kept greeting customers occasionally on the ear phone thing in the drive thru. Mind you I have my young daughter in there and there is no food coming out or customers getting greeted or getting food. I tried getting the boy's attention who's on his phone and he barely acknowledges me until I loudly said I want to cancel my order and be refunded. He gets the manager and she comes and wants to know what I have and it's very visible she's frustrated because no one is doing anything and this girl is causing chaos. As she gives me my money back I tell her that it's obvious she can't control what's happening but that girl running around here swearing and scaring people is extremely inappropriate and not ok with young children around. The employees often don't seem motivated to get your order to you fast. Which causes a waiting line to form around the building. The problem stems from the managerial position and the lack of proficiency. Whether the food is made with unsatisfactory taste, missing items, or machines/registers which are broken frequently. This place needs customer service training. Went with my family for a meal and the cashier was chatting up with a woman that just walked in after us. Then this same woman leans on counter in front of us and the cashier starts to take her order. My husband said no we are not eating here. I said we were first.
