While I had a taste for some Cheddar Biscuits and Salmon, a family reunion and an extended 2 hour wait, relocated our party a few miles down the street to Angels. " The Scene" As with all Mexican restaurants, the restaurant resembled the establishments I frequent in Texas. The walls were adorned with Sombreros and vibrant colors and flags accented the decor. Unfortunately, upon entry, since my nose works perfectly, the unmistakable smell of a restaurant that had been recently fumigated assaulted me. I asked my party if their noses relayed the same thing and we all agreed that the smell was unmistakable. Sadly, the party continued to move forward so I decided to be of good cheer and enjoy the birthday celebration. "The Meal" Normally if I smell RAID in a restaurant entrance, I will do an "About Face" and March out the way I came, but alas it wasn't my birthday. As I type this review, I see that another Yelper has confirmed my suspicions about the smell, by verifying the presence of "vermin" during their recent stay. Even with the horrid smell, I decided to give the establishment a "3" as I didn't witness any... and our waitress was phenomenal. I have worked in the food industry as a youth and understand the importance of fumigation, just not remaining as thick in the air during dining hours, that I could cut the smell with a knife.
