OLD crunchy Beans scraped from the bottom of the pot!
    TheDarkLor D.

The Taco Bell at 345 Main St., Waterville, ME deserves ZERO stars. I arrived at 10pm on a Sunday night (they are open until 1am). I came inside the store to place my order. There wasn't anyone at the counter, and two people were waiting for their food to be made. I saw the self-order kiosks, so I placed my order. After my order was placed a woman came out and scolded me for using the kiosks. She said that I should have known that I was not suppose to use the kiosks after 9pm, and that the two small stools in front of one of the kiosks was to indicate that the kiosk should not be used. Ummm, ok. But those tiny stools just looked like someone placed some low stools there. They were not in the way, nor a good way to indicate to NOT use the kiosk, The kiosks could have been shut down, unplugged, or a piece of paper placed over them, saying "DO NOT USE. ORDER AT COUNTER" I told her I was not aware of her 9pm policy to not use the kiosk and that I would be happy to place my order at the register. She said that since I already had paid that she would honor my order. WOW. I felt so lucky! I ordered a tostada, and a green burrito for nostalgia, and a crispy taco supreme. I wish I had opened my food up while I was at the restaurant. However, it wasn't until I got back to my hotel that I saw how poorly the tostada was made. The photo does not do it justice. There was a small mound of crunchy beans (as if it was the last bits in the pan) that was slopped on to 1/3 of the tostada shell. The beans were not edible. All they had to do was say that they were running low on beans and could not accommodate my order. Maybe they were too lazy to make another batch since they would be closing in 3 hours and my guess is they would be very slow at that time of the night? I wish I had take a photo of the small size of the burrito. It was about 4 inches long. And appeared to have the same old, crunchy beans that my tostada had. The green sauce was tasteless. It was inedible. The crunchy taco supreme was the super star. Thank goodness it did not have any beans. By the time I got to it I was so disappointed from the other items that it was hard to enjoy. Will NEVER go to this Taco Bell again. I hear there is another Taco Bell on the other side of Waterville...that one has a KFC attached to it. Maybe they will have better food and better service.

The gravy all over the packaging

The food was good like I love Taco Bell but the workers were careless with the food placement. The guy who took our order was super nice but the women who gave us our food kept looking me up and down and giving me dirty looks. The food was delicious, like I stated before I love Taco Bell, but it was just a mess, I got the three taco supremes and the shells were broken and there was meet all over the wrappers. My boyfriend got a quesadilla and that was just a mess, it was smushed and it went all over the packaging . My father got the KFC portion of the place and there was gravy all over the front of the packaging.

Dry over cooked mac and cheese that orange part is all dried they put no chicken in it

mac and cheese was over cooked and dry as hell wasted $27 those workers could careless about your order get a new job

It was a very convenient location on KMD with helpful staff and delicious food. My food also came out quickly and they had several tables and chairs on their lawn, so it was a nice spot to grab lunch. I saw recommendations for their fish tacos here on Yelp so I intended to get those, but they weren't offering them the day I stopped in. So be prepared for their menu to change and rotate. Instead, I opted for shrimp tacos and they were great! After looking at the menu I wasn't sure if I wanted poutine or fried mushrooms to go with my tacos so I asked the woman working at the counter. She highly recommended the poutine, so I ordered that and I'm very happy I did. Their homemade gravy had shredded beef in it, which was delicious. The cheese curds were melted nicely and the fries were fresh and high quality. What a great find! Thanks Yelp and Shebas Wicked Kitchen!

Only tried the quesadilla which had nicely grilled chicken and loads of green pepper and onion. They don't carry any red salsa, and the accompanying creamy sauce was a bit bland, but you can ask for some mango salsa on the side (used for some tacos). Great road stop!

We have had good experiences with our take out orders. They…read moreare a very busy restaurant, given they are really the only Mexican restaurant in Waterville. They are so busy, at times, they do not accept take out orders. We ordered take out and there was a line right to the door waiting to be seated. The tables were full and it was not even 5pm on Saturday. The waiting area is decent, but can get crowded in the front hallways section. The restaurant is a bit dark, in fact, we had a hard time reading the receipt in the waiting area to complete it. Plenting of seating, a lot of booths. Very clean. LOL The staff members were definitely hustling - moving quickly to serve and clear tables and address people getting take out (us). The food tastes fresh and not overly seasoned. I was surprised at how mild, almost dull some of the meats were, with the exception of the delicious chorizo chimichanga. The pulled pork and the chicken, definitely needed the sauces and salsas that come with it. Warning, if you are not fan of cilantro, you may want to ask before ordering, as some of the items have it automatically added and cooked with it. There is plenty of food with every order, including chips and salsa to go. We definitely will be back and hope to have dinner at the restaurant sometime.

Drinks came some time later and for the first time in my adult life - I sent mine back. No hint of lime nor tequila. It was like a flavorless snow cone. Food finally came and the food wasn't what we ordered. Close enough. Blandest "authentic Mexican" food you'll ever eat. Service was sporadic, building needs a paint job, but the waitress was nice. Probably won't go back.

It had been a long time since we have gone to a Taco Bell, and as we are getting one opening up…read moreclose to our two, we thought we would give one a try while going to Waterville for an appointment. This will be a mixed review, but it must be kept in mind it can be tough relying on a single visit for a review, especially world of fast food. The first trick was figuring out how to get into the parking lot. Now that we have done it once, it should be easier if there is a next time. We parked in a handicapped spot for my wife and we were surprised to find the door on that side was locked. They had neglected to unlock it when they opened. My wife took her Walker around to the opposite door. On the app I had found a couple of Build it yourself cravings boxes we liked the sound because they featured chalupas, which we used to like But the app would let me pay for it so we drove there and went inside to order. Those cravings boxes were not available anymore, apparently, even one they had on a small poster for out on the counter. So we ordered combos with a taco, burrito, drink and cinnamon twists. And since it smelled so good, a few pieces of chicken also. The burrito was fine, but the crispy taco was stale. Could have used a looking time in an oven to crisp them up. The cinnamon twists tasted funny, perhaps due to the oil they were cooked in. The chicken was good and came with a biscuit. So the branch didn't dazzle us, but I will hive our new local branch a chance when it opens up.

I asked for it confidently, like I was about to drop a mixtape, and the cashier stared at me like I'd just spoken fluent Elvish. So she calls the manager over, and I'm thinking, "Finally, someone who knows what's up." But the manager looks me dead in the eyes and goes, "I don't really pay attention to my job outside of work." Excuse me? Ma'am, I'm not asking you to write a dissertation on Mexican-inspired fast food. I'm just asking you to know what's on your own menu. That's like a pilot saying, "Yeah, I don't really pay attention to flying when I'm not at work." Anyway, zero Yeat meals for me. Zero Yeats Crunchwraps. Just tears, disappointment, and a Crunchwrap Supreme that tasted like betrayal. Would not recommend if you're trying to eat like a rapper here.
