I have to say, I have no idea where these amazing reviews are coming from! The staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean, so l'll give it two stars. However, these tacos were NOT it. I ended up getting the combo with three tacos, rice, beans and a drink. The rice and beans tasted old and really had no flavor. While there was a lot of meat on the tacos, they also had no flavor. Pretty much the only thing I could taste was the onions and salsa. Overall, very disappointed. Will stick to going to the taco pop ups around Everett. read more

There's so much heart in this place. I come to Everett for work. I come back everytime to hit up this spot. It's family owned, clean and the food is so so so good. It's better than LA's King Taco. Service was awesome too. You will not regret eating here! read more

I stopped into Taco-Book for lunch while in the area. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Credit cards are an accepted form of payment with a $0.50 service fee applied to each transaction. All interaction is done at the counter; ordering, paying and picking up order. Taco-Book does not offer any alcoholic drinks of any kind. For lunch I ordered the Carnitas Burrito for $10. I should have left the burrito wrapped in the foil as I ate it since the burrito was extremely messy to eat due to falling apart. The tortilla wrap didn't appear to be burrito size hence the falling apart. A couple different sauces were on the table to garnish my burrito with. Service was friendly. Overall, Taco-Book has reasonable prices and with speedy service. Personally, I was turned off by how messy and unsightly my burrito became so I'm not sure I'll return again. read more

I enjoyed my experience eating at Tacobook. It is a cute family business. You order at the counter and they're very friendly and welcoming. The food comes out quickly and there's a lot of seating in the restaurant. I got to try #8 the Barbacoa tacos with consome and I was pleasantly surprised. The salsas are also very flavorful. The food is pretty tasty here at this family owned taco spot, so I try to stop by on occasion. Lately seems to be the law of diminishing returns here. I feel like the value is not quite there for me to keep it on my list of regular taco spots. read more

This place was a great find when I was up in Everett working at a clinic on a Friday. I ordered the barbacoa tacos and my goodness were they delicious! It was roughly $15 for four tacos, and probably took about 7 to 8 minutes to receive my food. Overall, it's a great place and if I'm back in Everett working at the clinic, I'll be sure to stop here again. read more

My partner and I LOVE Taco-Book, we have to go at least once a week. It is very much a family owned business, we always see the same guy every time we come in. He is not only incredibly kind but really remembers his regulars. His wife makes the most AMAZING flan and tres leches, I always tell my boyfriend if he's going to taco-book without me that he has to pick up a flan or tres leches so I can enjoy it later. The restaurant feels very hole in the wall in terms of where it's located at but I honestly think it adds to the character of Taco-Book. When you walk in you can smell all the flavors and you can feel a family who has passion in what they do and loves the community they serve and I love them for that because their tacos, tortas, and burritos are incredible! read more

It was pretty packed when we got there, but we were able to get the last table fortunately. I ordered tripe tacos with a side of consommé. 10/10 recommend that combo by the way. Normally consommé is served with barbacoa tacos which is also really good, but I love tripe tacos and decided to try it one day and it is DELICIOUS. I thought we'd be there a lot longer with how many people were there but it didn't take long to get our food at all. This place just blew my mind!! I just stopped by this unassuming taco shop, located next to a laundromat, on a whim, and I'm sooo glad I did!! Don't let the area or the strip mall vibe scare you away, this place is phenomenal! I ordered 3 carnitas tacos and a can of soda to go. Was shocked by how busy this little spot was, im so glad I'm finally in on the secret :) tacos were ready after about 5 mins and were piping hot! So hot I had a little trouble carrying the paper plate to the car. The carnitas were prepared just right and the ingredients were clearly fresh and good quality. The meat was so flavorful! I ate my tacos in the car and I'm already wishing I could go back for more. Don't miss this place!! And no picture, because it was that delicious. read more

Came here on a lunch break and the service was great! Had my food out in under 5 minutes and who I assume was the owner was very friendly and I could tell he really appreciated the business. Everything was clean and the ambiance for me was nice. I don't like particularly loud music and I think it was just right where I could hear the music and still have a conversation. The pozole was hot, spicy and plenty of onion, lettuce and radish to put into the soup. Horchata was I think balanced and not too cinnamon or milk. Sweetness levels were JUST a smidge too sweet for me but I'm really picky with sweetness if I had to be crucial about something. Everything was priced pretty reasonably considering the price of meats at this time of writing this review. I would come here again! read more

Food- authentic Mexican, abuela's recipe, yummy in my tummy...all of it!! I have gone through the menu and you won't go wrong with any of it. If you order tacos 3 is perfect to be content. The barbacoa tacos are an upgrade, little greasy, but flavor is good. Service- straight forward, nice and welcoming. The husband is the owner who takes the orders. Wife running thee kitchen with staff. Food never takes long, nice and fresh. Ambiance- small, quaint, non pretentious. Always busy on Friday lunch time when I go. Value- really good!!! I don't eat a lot of meat but I really like tacos!!!! But I'm VERY picky with them so I go to a new place and try one taco to see if I like them lol We were going to a taco truck I line near the college and it was closed so we decided to try this place and it's GOOD!!!!! We have been back a couple times and it's so good! I'm sad they are closed Sunday and Monday but that's my only complaint lol read more

Im an Evcc Grad, this place used to be the go-to. Just went back after a couple of years and this place has gone downhill. The food is no longer cheap, and the experience is not great. The pastor is very mild. The salsa rojo is mild. The salsa Verde is pretty flavorful though, that's still very good. I ordered a large bottled coke and a pork burrito and it was $15. The size was not worth $8... Skip on this place and go around the corner to Mama's Cafe! Same price but bigger serving sizes and spicier meals! (If you like that) Service was very good btw read more

Just finished eating and holy crap this place is great! We got a number 8 & a number 13 - smash. Get it with the consume and a jarritos soda. There's plenty of seating. This Taqueria is the best thing about staying next door, but we will absolutely will if we can before we leave. Only regret we didn't try it sooner! read more

Some really good tacos. I got one of the 3 taco combos with rice & beans and a canned sode. Wish all meats were available for it. I had the cabeza, pork and chicken. They were all good, but I think the cabeza is the best. Unlike other places, the soft tortillas were heated to point of a little crispy. I actually enjoyed this though I'm not sure everyone will. Been here a handful of times since I have family in the hospital nearby. I'm Mexican and spent nearly 20 years in Texas, and when I tell you the asada tacos are DELICIOUS, I mean it. The service is fast, and the gentleman at the counter is kind and helpful. I've always said that hole-in-the-wall places will always be better than fancy places, and this place is no exception. It's tidy and relaxed, and I've never waited longer than a few minutes for my food, even when the tables have been full. Highly recommend!! read more

Ridiculously good. We were visiting a relative at the hospital and we all got hungry. We trudged over here and had carne asada, carnitas and barbacoa tacos, and tamales (It's almost Christmas). Wow! All four of us were insanely impressed. Best tacos I've had in a long long time (and I live in SoCal). It's just a hole in the wall, with a great couple making great food. This place is one of my all-time favorites, every time I come to Everett I look forward to stopping by there for lunch at least one time. This time out, there was a line down the sidewalk waiting for it to open. By the time I left after eating, the line was out to the parking lot. Shared a chile relleno which was standard. Daughter ordered pollo a la crema which was not overly creamy, chicken was tender. Sister got albondigas (meatball soup), broth had a nice roasted corn base. I ordered their menudo which came with tender (clean tasting) intestines, and one pata (foot). I added some of their chili oil which was smoky and balanced. Tried their other salsitas which were also good, habanero had good heat and pineapple had a nice touch of sweetness.

My mom and I are big fans of this place! The service is excellent, and the food is simply delicious. Shoutout to the guy at the front desk - super friendly and adds a welcoming touch to the experience. The combination of phenomenal food and phenomenal service sets this spot apart. It's definitely not your typical, bland, Americanized Mexican food - it's the real deal. Despite being a small place, the atmosphere is warm and the people are friendly. The Quesadillas and Street Tacos are absolute winners; each bite is a burst of flavor. If you're in the mood for really great, authentic Mexican food served with a side of friendliness, this is the place to be.
