The chips were very tasty and both the salsa and guacamole were fresh with bright flavours. At $12, the portion of chips was tiny so I would not order this again. Service was very friendly but minimal - in the sense that you order at the counter and they bring to your table, then clear up when you finish. The restaurant is quite small with 4 tables that can seat 4 people each, but they're not too close together which is nice. I'll definitely return to try some other dishes.

It is super cheesy on top but the bowl is very deep so the rest ot the chorizo under doesnt get any cheese to pair with. The amount of nachos compared to the choriqueso is very little. You basically just have to eat spoonfuls of chorizo at the end. Our friends ordered the steak and the medium rare came medium. It was tough and had a lot of unchewable tendons.

At first sight, it looked pretty bad from the street; inside was nicer for sure. It was a warm summer evening, so we asked to sit outside. Tables are metal, and the chairs are simple plastic and decor sparse. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita as this is my go-to at a Mexican restaurant. Advertised as "2oz," I did ask about how it was made as some bartenders really have no clue, but I was assured this was the real deal! It came out in a PLASTIC 7-10 oz cup full of ice for $15.75! The waiter apologized about the cup, so I was thinking there might be some consideration in price. It had little to no alcohol in it at all and maybe 4 oz of total liquid. Yes, I could/should have sent it back. Later, I ordered a Regular Margarita, and it was the same. Normally, one Cadillac will do it for me, and after two, I was sure there was no alcohol. Chips and salsa came, and another disappointment. A big part of the Mexican experience, and it came in a very small, thin wicker basket with just a touch of salsa. About that time, the waiter showed up with the bill. Full charge for the Cadillac, and with all the ants, I requested the manager. Our server said they did not even have a manager working, and as mentioned, it was a Friday night! We will not be back, and I hope this might save someone else the same experience. The prices, not unlike a lot of places, have skyrocketed, but their product has diminished. As noted the food and presentation are nice but the corners they are cutting are not acceptable. On my last visit, I had the chicken bowl, topped with corn, salsa and cilantro. I decided to keep it simple. The lime, hot sauce, burrito sauce and sour cream made it flavorful. Without the sauces and lime, the rice was quite bland. Maybe they should have cilantro lime rice as an option. This time the chicken was tender and full of flavor. I think it was quite blah previously. Note: With covid, the many types of hot sauces were no longer available. Since I had it to go, I could add my own hot sauces at home.
