Such a wonderful experience with Taco Head! Juan was fantastic to work with for our event. He took care of all of his set up and take down and I didn't have to do one thing for food. It took such a weight off my shoulders to have everything taken care of and all on time! And to top it off, the food was absolutely delicious! Everyone had such good things to say about the food! It couldn't have been more perfect using Taco Head! I will recommend him to anyone and I hope I have another event to use him again!

The truck was on the turn in to my neighborhood at the end of a long day....phone was dead...ordered tacos assuming I could pay with a card but I guess not. Dude gave me 4 tacos for all the cash in my wallet (not enough) and only asked for good Karma in return. I drove home and grabbed my charger and drove back and ordered 4 more for my wife then Zelled him the entire total and let him keep the cash. You don't find people with that attitude very often. Thank you for being a good person. The al pastor taco were my favorite

Not only is Taco Head run by a great guy, but this place single handedly has the best street tacos in Peoria and arguably in AZ! Priced perfectly and they are seriously worth wild! Do yourself a huge favor and go check out what everybody in Peoria is raving about! You definitely will not be disappointed! Tell him Cordale sent you and he just might hook you up even more lol! Be a TACO HEAD!!!!

Love this great local owned business!! Juan makes some fantastic tacos!! He goes out of his way for all or his customers. The Carne Asada tacos are my favorite. Every time I'm in the neighborhood my husband and I swing by and get a bunch.

I had a steak taco on a corn tortilla and this was hands down, one of the best tacos I've ever had! Juan, the owner was awesome and super friendly! If you ever find yourself in the Peoria area, don't leave without stopping at Taco Head!

Carne asada tacos are on point.

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

I would say inside is similar to a Filiberto's, but I don't really care as long as the food is good. I'm a big taco fan and the tacos here are just ok. (Pastor way too salty, asada seemed blah, but suadero was good) I did make a lil drive to come out here but probably wouldn't do it again unless I'm just in the area. If o had to compare, I would say taco boys, ta carbon and tacos calafia are well above this spot. Good visit though and really just stopped to try.

The carne asada is juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how it should be. The verde sauce was a revelation--a pure adrenaline rush straight to green-painted Flavor Town. The aguas frescas deserve special recognition. They're refreshing, delicious, and likely one of the reasons people keep coming back. And the breakfast burritos? FAT. The kind of burritos that make you question whether you need another meal that day. You will not leave hungry, and if you somehow do, that's probably a you problem. Now, let's be clear: this is a food truck. Don't come expecting a full-service restaurant experience. There is outdoor seating with shade and a swamp cooler to help combat the Arizona heat, but the real attraction here is the food.

I loved the Telera bread, with the Asada & Al Pastor, lettuce, cilantro, jalapeño, onion, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and green sauce. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the flavor was amazing. I would recommend. Horchata! I don't remember what is all in this but it's so freaking delicious! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk flavor that just hits differently. It's sweet , but so tasty. I never got to the burrito & took it home. The Torta was so big I could only eat half. My beautiful wife loved the queso tacos with Asada and was very happy. She also got the watermelon Fresca and I tried it. Like a piece of watermelon in a cup. Phenomenal flavor. I literally stumbled onto this gem and would definitely go back if in the area. Love the setup with the dining room. Such a nice break from the road. It was noisy for a bit when what sounded like an airplane took off. That surprised me. The service was very good

I ordered the chilaquiles. The chilaquiles themselves were excellent. The flavor was robust, the sauce was smooth, and the chips held their texture surprisingly well. Unfortunately, that's where the meal began to lose momentum. The beans were watery and the flavor just wasn't right. The rice appeared to be basmati rice with dehydrated peas and carrots mixed in. I took a few bites and ultimately left both sides untouched. My wife ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. We were surprised to learn it used mozzarella cheese rather than Oaxacan cheese. Different, but not necessarily bad. What caught us off guard was the inclusion of red bell peppers throughout the burrito, which wasn't disclosed on the menu. Again, not a deal breaker, but something worth noting. The potatoes were also a bit firm and could have benefited from a few more minutes on the griddle. The shining star of the meal was the blueberry pancakes. These are true pancakes--not diner-style flapjacks--and they were absolutely loaded with blueberry compote, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The portion was large enough for all three of my children to share, and they disappeared quickly. Will I return? Possibly. There were some genuinely good flavors present, and everything appeared to be cooked with care. My concerns were more about flavor inconsistencies and communication than poor execution. I want to support local businesses, and there was enough potential here that I would be willing to give Chido MX another try.
