It was clean inside. We were almost the only people there at lunch. Ordered a fish taco & a open taco. We watched the owners loading food supplies from trunk into restaurant & still went in. I knew we should've left based on the no customers part but I was really hungry. It was about $11.00 plus tax and both were tossed into trash less than a third eaten. No flavor, strips of al pastor (tasted like a seasoning packet from a tienda) were underseasoned & dry. The fish taco was so covered in sauce to hide the teeny fish chunk that tasted like tilapia. I do dig local restaurants but you gotta put more love into your meats!

hands down the BEST tacos in west side! highly recommend -the quesabirria combo (super filling) - the klera fries are amazing! the fries are perfectly crispy and even with the salsa and carne on top not a single one was soggy -the strawberry lemonade with chamoy rim 10/10! staff is so nice and attentive has quickly become a go to lunch spot!

Food was absolutely delicious, great customer service, the owner even came out to greet us and ask us how the food was. Highly recommend if you're reading this just come here and try them out! We got tacos and then dessert after.

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

I would say inside is similar to a Filiberto's, but I don't really care as long as the food is good. I'm a big taco fan and the tacos here are just ok. (Pastor way too salty, asada seemed blah, but suadero was good) I did make a lil drive to come out here but probably wouldn't do it again unless I'm just in the area. If o had to compare, I would say taco boys, ta carbon and tacos calafia are well above this spot. Good visit though and really just stopped to try.

Honestly, when I walked up I had to pause for a moment and consider my life choices. Yes, I am a…read moretacoholic, but were they worth my life? Nobody, at least nobody alive, was on the premises, from my vantage point. Two buildings lay before me, both of which looked dark. Dusty railway cars on the track across the street. Is that where they would find my body, inside one of those, with the others? But, as I walked closer the scent of taco meat simmering, grilling and sizzling overtook my stupid fear. Tacos have never steered me wrong. Taco makers have always been some of my favorite people. Once that scent made me realize that I wasn't about to walk up on a crime scene and be the next victim, I happily opened the door. No customers but a young alive girl was behind the counter. Happy colors, neon, seriously the best salsa bar I have ever come across - they even had homemade, warm salsa macha on the side and everything else was cold and fresh because the condiments are covered in a literal steel trap to keep everything clean and sanitary. I had ordered my meal to go, and people started rolling up as I was leaving so I guess the party was about to start without me. Then I got my tacos home!! Exclamation point because they deserve it. I ordered two queso tacos that, of course, came with consumme. My eyes rolled back in my head when I took the first bite. The beef was juicy, flavorful, tender and the consumme complimented it beautifully. And when have ever been treated to so much cheese in a queso taco? Never. And the good, thick Mexican cheese, melted and abundant. Not some tasteless, cheap, inconsequential slop. My only regret? I live 10 miles away up a mountain and I couldn't run right back and order one more queso taco! I was literally starving for one more. So, I made some poverty nachos - cheap tortilla chips with cheddar melted on top in a microwave - and dipped them in the consumme. Well, actually I had another regret: I wasn't able to wash it all down with a Jamaica because they either ran out or didn't make it that today. I just know it would have been homemade and good.

My family and I absolutely loved this place. Authentic energy, kind staff, and amazing food…read more Perfect place to go for a lunch during the summer. We got the family platter and it was a FANTASTIC deal!
