In the middle of nowhere -Great breakfast burrito - was very busy a bit of a wait but worth it

Not a bad burrito spot! I got the Machaca Breakfast Burroto and an Asada breakfast burrito. 3 Stars- Both burritos were good but I did prefer the Machaca. The Machaca definitely had more depths of flavor but was still kind of bland. The Asada Breakfast burrito was just okay. 4 Stars - The red and green salsas for me were the stars. Both had a smokiness to them and both had decent heat. There was plenty of outdoor seating which provided a relaxed, and welcoming feel. The staff were very kind and professional. I would get the Machaca again if I was in the area. 3*** = Just Okay 4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back. 5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there! read more

SBL found a new place to eat and it's called Burrito Barn. It's a little food truck in the middle of kinda nowhere; it's on the 303 Cotton Lane. I mean there's stuff out there, but things like agriculture and a general store. NOTE: SBL (Sexy Bearded Lover) Uber's on the side and he heard about this place from a patron. Since he started Ubering he has found a ton of new places, and we have decided every Saturday we are going to try a new place so we can mix it up. Which also gives me the opportunity to Yelp the heck outta all eating places big and small. So this quaint little food truck happens to have the absolute best food. Everything is fresh and nothing comes from a can. After I ate their food I kept thinking what was it that made this food so different, so better? Then it hit me...LOVE. This food is made with the most love ever. On the it's so good it's stupid meter, that dial kept spinning til it just landed on LOVE. It is a Mexican style food truck. There are these two ladies that make everything by hand. When the person told SBL about the Burrito Barn he said it's the best burritos you will find. Since then, we had it built up in our heads that this place was gonna be legit fantastic. Well guess what? It is. My pop said the country burrito was the best burrito he ever had. SBL said the machaca egg breakfast burrito was everything he pictured in his head. He said it's what a breakfast burrito should be. Mini me loved the very large pancakes and potatoes. Overall it was an excellent find and we will gladly go back. I like to think I have good taste, (SBL says I'm the Kanye West of self esteem) so trust me when I say this place is good. First! They moved to a new location. They are on the corner of Cotton Lane and Glendale Avenue. Right next door to the Old West General Store. I purchased a pork green chili burrito, comes with rice, beans, green chili pork, and potatoes. The burrito was very big, and not messy at all. I like two types of chili verde. 1) I do like the mild and sweet chili you can get at La Canasta or Rito's. 2) At times I like the spicy hot but still savor the flavor you can get from here. I think this location is awesome, After a nice meal in the outdoors, you can go next door for some Thrifty Ice Cream. read more

Very frustrating little food place! We stop here randomly to support their business...they have great food but they have such a wacky schedule I am ready to give up on them. Their page shows the are open 6am-8pm on Friday. I try calling on my way to get my order started and no answer. Then I get there (at 7:50am) and the food truck is not even there. They really don't follow their schedule that is posted. Plus it says they take credit cards and they don't. Good luck getting food here! After several trips by there with no food, I am not sure I am going back. read more

The Burrito Barn is NOT closed, it just relocated. This is a mobile food wagon (check out the pics others posted) and apparently it moves around every now and then. Current location is the SW corner of Cotton Lane and Glendale Ave. I stopped there today (first time) and had a Country Breakfast Burrito. The service was friendly and the Burrito was excellent. They provide both red and green taco sauce on the side, I tried both and they're both good, but I prefer the red. The picnic tables are a nice touch. There were four tables and people at all of them this morning. I'll be going back, soon! I want to try the chorizo, and also the lunch menu. read more

Horrible service. The owner is only worried about money ! Don't go to either location you'll end up sick ! Found about about this from one of my truck drivers who stumbled upon it while waiting for a load at the Dicks Sporting Good warehouse. Carne Asada plate, rolled tacos, and a bean and cheese flatbread is what we ordered. The rolled tacos had potatoes in them, and they were cold. Like the potatoes were frozen previously and never fully cooked. The carne Asada was ok and the fry bread was decent. Rice and beans.....meh the rice is bland the beans are refried beans with cheese on them. The ingredients definitely are not fresh ingredients. There was no diet soda advertised, but we had a couple of bottled waters anyway. The eating area was clean. The people visiting their friends from out of town were a bit obnoxious at the next table, but that is not the barns fault. The service was slow and unimpressionable. We had told her we had never been there before and she never offered any suggestions, or changed her facial expressions just sat at the register seemingly impatiently waiting for us. Would we go back? Yes. I would say we wouldn't go out of our way but this place is pretty much out of the way lol. read more

Went for lunch today, 4 cars all waiting for food when we arrived. We both had carne asada burritos. And here is my confusion, hubbies was really fat and mine very thin. He had lots of cabbage, and I had very little. He had a ton of unmelted cheese and I had none, or so little it's presence was hard to see. I thought the taste was good but the green sauce was very hot (but it was on the side, so no problem). I went because of recommendation of other yelp participants, and because I was in the mood for a burrito! So, not really sure what to expect if we do go again! Since They are made to order , you may have to wait, 4 in front of us it was about 20 minutes, but not quite as long for a few cars that came after us. Awesome. I've tried the chile relleno, fish tacos, green chile chicken burrito and the giant breakfast burritos. I love the sauce. The green sauce is hot and just like I like it. They even have pancakes for my toddler. The staff is always so nice. I highly recommend this place especially if you crave good Mexican food. read more

It was not as good as I wanted it to be. I know that Mexican food is regional and you can get many variations of a single item. However, the tortilla my burrito was wrapped in was crunchy, the meat was over seasoned, and there was too much lettuce in the burrito. The red salsa was good. The service was good. read more

Personally the best food I've had in a while. Sure beats a lot of the little food trucks we have out here. I can't get enough of their $1 beef and potato tacos. The price is decent for the portion but you really get a bang for your buck when it comes to taste. I've ordered a few things off of the menu and everything has tasted great but the horchata.
