Omg - zero stars deserved because of ridiculously inept service. Waited a bit at drive up kiosk to order, got to the window and the order wasn't right as she repeated it so had to change the total. Requested extra sauce. A tostada was taking longer so asked us to pull around the building and they would bring it out. There wasn't a designated area so we just parked near the front door. Looking in the bag with the other food, there was no sauce and they also didn't give us the drinks we ordered. Pulled into the drive thru line again and when we got to the window again eventually we got the over zealous and inept order taker and said we hadn't gotten sauce or drinks. She acknowledged with surprise that the drinks were still sitting there and parceled sauce packets like they were liquid gold. No apology for screwing up the order etc. skip this location unless you want to pay for food or drinks you won't get unless you drive thru twice.... just sayin' read more

I got potato oles tonight and the minute the handed me the sack I knew there was something wrong. they stunk up my whole car. It was rancid oil. I popped one of the Oles in my mouth and about vomited. Not only where they cold and as hard as a rock whatever oil they them in was absolutely bad. Won't be back at that Taco John's again read more

I do not like most items on the menu, just not my taste. The quesadillas are really good though. Drinks are good.

Not very good. The taco meat tastes like wet dog food smells. The oles are ok , but everything else is pretty much inedible. read more

Great food and usually aways awesome. Most always get the orders right and it's in a great location.

This location is out on Avenue I in our ever growing west side of town. Restaurant is a bit small but has enough tables and booths. Drive-thru times were kind of long the few times I went through. Food has been mostly good with a few times it feeling off. But service is typically great. I like the Grilled Stuffed Taco. Oles are always a must with any meal. Also enjoy their many flavors of breakfast burritos. Restaurant is well maintained and parking is plentiful. read more

I sort of consider myself a taco John's snob, for I have ate at multiple TJ locations around the country. This was by far the best I've ever had (don't tell my husband). We went through the drive through and it was super quick but everything was so fresh! I would drive through Scottsbluff again just for the Oles. read more

I'm not seeing an entry for Taco Johns at this address, so I'm adding it. I'm familiar with three other taco fast food chains: 1. The national one with the chihuahua, 2. Taco Time, which is strictly Pacific Northwest, 3. Taco Del Mar, not sure how widespread that one is. Taco Johns appears to be a midwest chain. I went in to try it out. I was pleased to see that they have Taco Burgers, because I have only seen those in Taco Time, the Pacific Northwest one. I ordered a Taco Burger for comparison: Both versions of the taco burger (Taco Time and Taco Johns) include tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese. Price: Taco Johns charges $2.XX, Taco Time charges $4.XX. In both, it's an "ala carte" thing with no extras. Quality: Taco Johns uses "run of the mill" buns, Taco Time uses high quality buns (thus the higher price) Meat: Taco Johns uses a "hamburger sauce," which is the consistency of coney island sauce. Taco Time uses "loose meat" hamburger, spiced, but not in a sauce. I think you get more hamburger in the "loose meat" version, thus, again, the justification for the higher price that Taco Time charges as opposed to what Taco Johns charges. Dressing: Taco Johns does not include a "dressing" as part of the sandwich. Taco Time puts something similar to 1000 island dressing on the loose meat hamburger. I LOVE the taco burgers at Taco Time. The Taco Burger I had at Taco Johns was also good, but in a different way because it was made differently. However, gotta say, I love that 1000 island dressing on the Taco Time version. It wouldn't work on the Taco Johns version. At the time I came into this Taco Johns, they were having a special of three chicken tacos for $5. I would have liked to have tried that, but when I saw Taco Burger, I had to have that for comparison to Taco Time. I will say that I believe Taco Johns food to be way better than the "national chain with the chihuahua." However, it's a tie for whether Taco Time (Pacific Northwest) or Taco Johns (midwest) is better. Pretty decent for a fast food chain. Food is close to the quality of a regular Mexican restaurant. Pricewise, it's also cheaper than my favorite one, the Taco Time of Pacific Northwest. If this restaurant isn't crowded, you could park an RV. However, getting the RV into the parking lot is a bit dicey. The entry is a bit narrow. I parked at the Wal-Mart and walked over. Will probably come again, the overall cleanliness was poor. The attitude of the workers was okay. The food was amazing, I ordered a normal taco bravo without lettuce, and some chips with cheese (basic nachos). Everything was steaming hot and fresh, the amount of cheese I got seemed excessive but I actually ran out of cheese before I ran out of chips. The taco bravo I had was delicious, it was even better when I sipped it in house dressing. The only thing I was annoyed with was the size of the large cup, that thing was a behemoth, like an xxl sizes cup was being sold as a large, next time I know to get a small. read more
