Had a horrible recent experience, and we will not return. I ordered a #4 (5 wing combo) and was…read morelater told I wasn't charged for the fries. I'm not sure how that happens when ordering a combo (I paid $9.31 and the combo was $9.99), but I didn't want to make a fuss since I knew it wasn't the $10.81 with tax (I thought she gave me a student discount or something) and was open to paying whatever difference. I DID chuckle though, thinking, 'they really want this $1.00 and some change,' but I charged it to economy-- and hard times. However, I was told the fries would be an additional $2.59, which is full price. Huh? I attempted to gain understanding, which I'm sure the pressure for the additional money was coming from the man cooking vs. the lady as the messenger, but didn't understand and wasn't paying full price. Fast forward to receiving food, I was told they allowed a 1/2 order of fries since I didn't purchase them. I was done. Chyle... food was terrible. Honey mustard wings were overcooked, tasteless and drowned in sauce. My "free" 1/2 order of fries were cooked too hard for the size. No one in our party was impressed and we felt the food was extremely bland (mind you we ordered a bit of everything). Upon leaving we went straight to Jersey Mike's. This used to be a place we'd frequent if in the area, but it's gone further downhill. It's sad because we love family owned restaurants--but we will not return.

Unique tasting wings. Small, but have a very god original flavor. Must try place in Denton.read more

We saw the menu and were kind of like ok what kind of a chicken place is this. It was her choice so we went. Our waiter(forgot his name) was cool and was very attentive to us. First sign of a good waiter/server is our cups were never empty. Its been a while that my cup has never been empty. For the food it rocked. Your biscuits are addictive. I dont know what you put in them but we ate alot of them. The dressing on the salad was not over powering. Now for the chicken. We had tenders, fired, smoked and even some chicken fried steak. It was all juicy and tender. What had us surprised was there was no oil on the plate when it was served. The breading on all the chicken stayed crunchy. What ever you do to the chicken keep doing it. The corn, green beans and the mashed potatoes were on point. They are their own food group. Im not a green bean person. I had 2 servings. The gravy just made everything taste better. The deserts tasted like they came from grandmas kitchen. Whats the chances you would open a location in Las Vegas Nevada. Its going to get expensive to drive here every time we what fried chicken. Keep doing what you're doing. It works.

THIS IS A HUGE RAVE TO BABE'S CHICKEN HOUSE IN GRANBURY!…read more On Sunday, March 29, my wife and I went to Babe's Chicken House in Granbury. We were met immediately and seated promptly. Our server was a young lady named Lauren. More on Lauren shortly. This was not our first trip to Babe's Chicken House. But it had been a while, definitely too long, since we were here when we came years ago, we would usually order a chicken each. Now we are in our golden years and we can't eat that much, so we split one. But it was just as delicious as it has been each previous time! The Chicken was fried too absolutely perfection! The golden brown skin was seasoned perfectly and was very crunchy, just the way we like it. And the meat was hot and fork tender, Oh, I still prefer to use My fingers. The sides of green beans, corn, and mashed potatoes and gravy were off the hook! I'm not sure how they cook that corn, but they can come over to my house and cook it anytime! We both drank a sweet tea with lemon, very, very cold and lots of ice! About Lauren: Lauren is a local young lady who has a constant smile on her face. I never saw her not smiling while we were here. I watched her as she engaged in conversation with many people, both employees and customers, and she was an extremely pleasant young woman. But to my wife and I, she was an absolute, unfettered joy! She kept our tea glasses filled, and Make sure that we had plenty of potatoes and gravy, corn, and green beans. She did all of this as well as tending to her other customers I think that she is one of those young ladies who is so personable that she has the gift of making everyone feel as though they are the most important customer to her. I know that is the way that we felt. My wife had ordered some vegetables to go, And had mentioned this to Lauren when we ordered our chicken. We were nearly finished with a meal when Lauren arrived at the perfect time with the "to go order." She remembered when many such servers in the past at other venues Have forgotten. I need to address one other thing that I frequently hear people complain about. Yes, babes does serve instant potatoes. When you feed as many people in a day and in a week or over a holiday weekend, as they do, something has got to give. And by the way, those instant potatoes are absolutely delicious! I don't know what they do to them, but they are incredible! So if that's your own gripe, find something else to gripe about and instead insert some positivity into your review! This was the most pleasant dining experience that I've had in years and it was because the food was good and Lauren's service to my wife and I was even better! The only suggestion would be that Lauren gets paid more! She's clearly not being paid enough! As for Babe's Chicken dinner house, we will be back! Thank you all so much! And you take good care of our Lauren, because we want her the next time we come! All of y'all who read this review and then go to babes, be sure that you ASK FOR LAUREN! SHE'S A ROCKSTAR!

Good accessibility, and a few photo-op places, too! Staff at both places (Fatburger and the station, where we had to buy one of our drinks from the cooler at Fatburger, because it wasn't their product) were friendly and courteous. Great burger! The XXL (1-lb) was two patties, thick and juicy, good flavor. The meat patty itself didn't have a lot of salt or seasoning on it, which I liked. Just delicious hamburger. I went with the toppings as they come--lettuce, tomato, mayo, relish, mustard, and onion--and it was a good combo with the meat. I don't think I'd do the relish again, though; it added a sweet, aromatic flavor to the burger I don't usually look for. All in all, I think this burger stacks up nicely with a Whataburger. The chicken sandwich wasn't as fat as the burger. Maybe ask for a double meat sandwich? Came with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The kid downed it before I had a chance to ask for a second pic. Both the XXL burger and onion rings were super oily. The burger left a little pool of water and oil in the bottom of the wrapper (see video). Thankful they double wrapped it!! Managed to eat on the road with no problems because of it. The chicken sandwich wasn't as oily. The onion rings left a little pool of oil at the bottom of their paper container, too. Oh! They also have two kinds of spice sauces, I think for the breakfast burritos, but I enjoyed them with my onion rings. Good flavor on both. Red (more tomato-y, not spicy at all) and green (nicely spicy, fresh pepper flavor, not a crazy burn, lingers and dissipates nicely). Kinda pricey, at about $33 for all that, but I've got caloric fuel for the rest of the day, now! Thankful for this location and the friendly faces helping out here! God bless y'all!

Wing Snob is a great spot for anyone craving flavorful wings with a wide variety of sauce options…read more The wings are consistently crispy and well-cooked, and what really stands out is the selection of flavors--from classic buffalo and lemon pepper to sweeter or spicier specialty sauces. There's something for every preference, whether you like traditional heat or more creative flavor profiles. The portions are solid for the price, and the fries and sides are a great complement to the wings. Service is generally quick, making it a convenient option for takeout or a casual meal. The setup is more fast-casual than dine-in focused, but it works well if you're grabbing food on the go or watching a game at home. Overall, Wing Snob is a reliable choice when you want wings done right with lots of flavor variety and quick service.

2 Stars....and here's why…read more The stars are given purely based on food taste. The crispy, naked wings were great and the sauce was perfect. That's where the good ends. The wife's buffalo chicken sandwich was covered in sauce--not just the chicken, but the whole thing. Outside, inside, everywhere. It was so slippery she couldn't hold onto it. The onion rings were...just blah. Fries were typical (definitely not snob-worthy) My wings weren't hot, warm maybe, but could tell that they were plated for 15 of the 20 minutes we waited for the order (we were the only guests there). It was super dark in the restaurant, so much so that we had to make sure they were actually open. There was no one else in the business other than the employees. I'm assuming that the dark light situation was to cover what we eventually found to be total filth. When we ordered, paid, and sat down, the staff turned on the music so loud that the three in our party couldn't even talk to one another. The tables were dirty. The fountain drink machine was in disarray, as was the self-serve station. No napkins, plastic ware, or typical accoutrements. The hallway to the restrooms looks like it needed a deep cleaning, and the single potty room looked and smelled like a daycare. The paper towel dispenser was problematic. When we left, the staff demanded that we clean the table off--as the cook sat on the floor behind the counter charging his phone. I thought it was ironic considering how the entire place felt disgustingly dirty. We're a wing-loving family. We wanted to try this as a new place for one of our favorite treats. Based on the experience, we won't be back. Instead, we'll be trying Wing Daddy's up the road next time. I like how the ownership appears to take to heart the negative reviews. But this one is a sincere plea for real change before this business falters and shuts their doors as another bygone attempt at food service.
