My son went with the chicken soup and a pastor taco, which was comforting and satisfying. My husband enjoyed the pastor nopalitos, and my daughter loved the Dorados de Pastor. Served with a great selection of salsas, we honestly gobbled everything up in no time. The location was super convenient too--just around the bend from our hotel in Condesa. We also really appreciated that they offered menus in English, which made ordering easy after a long day. If you're in the area and need a late-night bite (holiday or not!), Taco Naco is a must. Our first spot for tacos when we arrived in Mexico City. After a very early morning of traveling, we needed a quick refuel somewhere near by our hotel that was 100% true street food yet. Taco Naco was that spot, featuring a very expansive two page menu. Our waiter, Philip, was incredibly eager, helped us with an English menu, and was overall full of positive good energy. We opted for a selection of assorted tacos: Al Pastor: freshly cut and incredibly tender Lengua (beef tongue): softer in texture than expected, a bit creamy, tender. Taco Naco: extra large taco loaded with meat and cheese, that I really enjoyed Skirt steak: very tender and juicy, my partner's favorite. Chorizo: tender with a note of spiciness, but not overwhelming Every table is also provided a set of salsas and limes including pico, guac, and 3 spicy salsas. There are two drinks we tried that we highly recommend. I don't remember the full name but one was a strawberry horchata and the other a fresh strawberry juice. Prices are definitely affordable. They aren't as cheap as a true street food stall but compared to USA pricing, it's maybe $2 per taco, which is still quite reasonable. read more

This taco spot was right around the corner from our hotel in Condesa and it was so convenient! The suadero tacos were my favorite, but the Bistec and the al pastor were really good also. The tortilla soup was just what we needed on a rainy evening in CDMX. Savory tomato soup with queso, crema, avocados, thin corn tortilla strips, and crispy chicharrones. Friendly service! The Campechano, Bistec, and al pastor tacos were our favorite. The margaritas were so fresh and tasty, $14 each was a bit of a shock compared to the $12 for the rest of the meal. There are good tacos, but not great tacos here. The bistec is pretty boring and without flavor, as is the nopal. The pastor was good but dry. I'd get it again if I was there but I would go out of my way to get it or recommend it if you've had food pastor before. That said, the salsas are very good and I'd enjoy having them again. So Taco Naco is worth a visit if you're nearby but don't make it a destination. read more

The first time that we had passed this place on the bus, I could have sworn that the name of the restaurant was tacos nachos. It's actually called Tacos Nacos. The look of the restaurant seems interesting enough so we thought we would check out this restaurant in addition to the ten others we've been to. We came here on a Saturday night and there were a decent amount of people. Our Server was right on the ball and was ready to take our order 30 seconds after we sat down. I ordered 2 tacos de Longaniza and my girlfriend got 2 tacos de pollo. As an afterthought, I probably should have ordered the tacos de pollo as well, because it would have gone better with my stomach. My Longaniza tacos were still delicious and they tasted more like sausage than anything else. I added some diced onions and jalapeno peppers. Her tacos de pollo pechuga we especially delicious with their green salsa. We had a good time here and the service was excellent. read more

Very tasty tacos, the pastor being lean and a bit dry, and the cabesa super tender and lacking cabesa fattiness. And medium rare? I would stop by again, as the tacos are cheap and pretty good. Just use lots of sauce to help with the dryness of the pastor. What I actually liked most about this place was the juicing. I couldn't find good grapefruit juice anywhere in the area, and I saw their fruit displays, and inquired as to how much a glass of the grapefruit would be. $1.50 for a large cup, fresh squeezed by hand right in front of me. I'm here for a week and a half, staying just across the street. It's my 2nd day in the city, so I was very happy to find this spot and enjoy my 2 tacos (madre and naco), and a great cocktail. The service was pleasant and fast. However, as I was checking out, and the waitress was running my credit card, this older waiter just could not mind his business! He was distracted from filling 2 glasses next to where we were standing and kept looking over me to check out my ticket and what the waitress was doing. Then, as she asked me about tip, he interjects, with his finger in my face, to say "10 tip." I'd already hit the number for 15%, as I'd had a great experience up until that point. I stopped and looked at him and asked him what he was talking about and he chuckled. I didn't think it was funny at all. I'm a 45 yo black American woman- certainly old enough to determine how and when I spend my money. I didn't notice anyone else having such oversight in their transaction and I thought it was pretty low class. If it wasn't for this, I'd have given a 5-star rating, but that disrespect ruined it for me. I hope the managers can lean in to better train the older folks who may not be used to keeping their mouths shut when they have no involvement in a situation. read more

I like this place the waiters are nice and polite, its open 24 hours. They have a juice bar. They make you any kind of fresh juice you can think of very healthy. Their tacos are good and their menu is quite big they offer not only tacos but a lot of other good stuffs there. Their desserts are too good (or i should say bad) for the waistline, delicious. I usually get arrachera tacos and a green juice (it has veggies and orange and pineapple fresh squeezed juice) healthy meal. For dessert i get a chocolate mousse too yummy. Me gusta bastante.
