Menuboard as of 20180828. Expensive for what you get.

Good tacos. Really, really good. Especially the chicken pibil. "So TJ", you ask, "why the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5?" Answer: value 4 stars (arguably even 5) for the food, 2 for the pricing = 3 stars in my book The longer version: A light eater will have no problem housing 2 of their tacos, and a typical eater will need more like 3 (or even 4 )to feel somewhat full. With each taco costing at least 3.50, the typical eater will need to spend 11 to 14 bucks for a filling lunch, and for a simple food like tacos from a truck I just think this is excessive, even after acknowledging that I do feel this is a very good product. I am certain I will return here for more tasty tacos, but only on a day when I feel like splurging a bit

Ordered from Taco Oso food truck when they were stationed at GrainWorks Brewing and had three delicious tacos. During this visit they had only been operating for a few weeks. I enjoyed the Leo, Chicken and Barbacoa each with unique flavor profiles. The Leo is a flavorful meatless option with hummus, plantains and with flare toppings. Barbacoa and chicken were both juicy, flavored but not spicy. I would recommend these once your a few beers in. Two house sauces available on the side; Spicy jalapeño creme and Mild roasted garlic. They reserve the heat for the sauces, so dig in without fear of spice level.

The Barbaco taco, it's already half gone :)

Got chicken nachos from the food truck. Chicken was cold, there wasn't much on it, and the chips weren't great. Disappointed for the price.

Do not get the Mexican hummus. Gave us a 2oz container for $8. Flavorful but wildly overpriced

It was so substantial that I only made it through half. I enjoyed it with chorizo, but for a modest surcharge, they will make it with brisket! The Al Pastor Hash was the standout. It was beautifully balanced, full of bold, authentic flavors, and expertly prepared. One of my brunch-mates spends much of the year traveling through Latin America, and he was genuinely impressed. Excellent food, generous portions, and a memorable brunch experience. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu! Attentive service and a beautiful location in Downtown Cincinnati's quiet Pendleton neighborhood made the morning perfect.

We had the queso which is not your average. Its thick cheesy texture tucks inside of a small tortilla. So, not your typical chips and queso . The addition of a roasted jalapeno was brilliant! We split an order of beef tacos, and had the street corn( the exact menu name fails me). It was some of the best I've had. Fun place with a delightful vibe and top notch food and service.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

To drink I had the chunker, which was gin in a San Pelegríno it was a very refreshing drink! Deceptively doesn't taste like alcohol. I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Some things are out of your control, but still I would've enjoyed my food more if I could have sat and ate it. This place feels a little light a hole in the wall in downtown Cincinnati. It does not have lots of tables, it is unassuming on the outside, and the menu is simple. We were drawn to it, even with the long lines because of all of the game goers. Considering its size and the line, we did not wait an unreasonable amount of time to order and then receive our food. Everyone orders at the counter so you have to go through one at a time and wait for everyone before you to decide their orders. The food is then called out and you have to go get it. This system probably helped our situation and made things move faster. I got their signature turtle, which is basically a large crunch wrap, with chicken served southwest style. It was awesome but very large! We were going out after and did not want to carry leftover boxes, so I ate it all and kind of regretted it after. But I simply could not stop cause the food was so good! The prices are also fair and they have plenty of beer and cocktails to offer from their bar. I would love to come back here on a quieter night so we can sit and enjoy the food wholly, perhaps with a beverage as well.

Food: 5/5 Dishes are explained as slightly larger plates than tapas style. My favorites: Wood Grilled Octopus, Crispy Falafel, Bouillabaisse. Love the Moroccan Mint Tea as well! Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
