2 street and 2 specialty tacos

Pretty fresh tacos being served up in this spot with fast, in and out service. Located in downtown Ft Myers, definitely a good little late night spot. I got 2'street tacos and 2 specialty tacos with rice and beans for about $21. The ingredients were fresh. I liked the chicken protein the best. Would definitely come back.

Interesting concept for a taco place! We checked this out on our way to the Music Walk downrown. You can make bowls, burritos, tacos, etc and they have some creative options like buffalo chicken and Korean bbq. Can't really comment on service because you order at a kiosk and pick up your food at the counter, but all the food was hot and fresh!

    Chicken and ground beef bowl.

Interesting place. At Taco Worx, I ordered a bowl with ground beef and chicken. It was OK...a little skimpy on the double meat. The spice came mostly from the jalapeños. Everything else's was pretty average. Nothing outstanding sadly. I took my food into the "hidden" speakeasy behind the metal door. It wasn't anything spectacular...like entering another world which is what I guess I was expecting. It is very dark in the bar and music was good. Well, kind of cliche Mexican tunes and miscellaneous other songs. The most captivating and welcoming person was Ari. It's like she was trying to really sell the place while everyone else was simply going through the motions. Kudos to you Ari! Taco Worx (etc.) is not going to be a regular spot for me. I truly expected "something" more. Maybe I will come back.

I saw this and they open and decided to give it a try. It's a cute tiny little restaurant close to downtown. There's not really a lot of place to sit inside, but they have some tables outside on the sidewalk which I like anyway. The young man behind the counter was very good at explaining some things on the menu. The only thing that I would say is that on the menu? It said that sour cream was included already in the food. My husband had asked for no sour cream. When we got it, it had sour cream in it but they charged us $.50 for the sour cream so if it's already included, it should already be in the price. Especially since my husband asked for it to be taken out. But that was minor. I'm just a stickler about those kinds of things. I got the chicken tzatziki taco which quite frankly was amazing and then I also got the Korean barbecue beef bowl. The Korean was good, but I probably wouldn't order again. I would try something different. But I definitely would get that chicken tzatziki again. My husband got the Spicier bowl. I think it's the standard. I don't remember sorry and he said it was pretty good and spicy. So I'm gonna go back because I liked the restaurant in the atmosphere. My husband probably won't. I do absolutely suggest it, it's a different take on the taco. Do the chicken tzatziki taco.

Heard about the place from a friend! We were not disappointed! The kid at the front was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out fast. The nachos were huge! Everything was really good! We will definitely be back!

    closed restaurant

Arrived at exactly 8:15 pm at the downtown location only to see they closed early. Very disappointing considering I drove all the way here and the other fort myers location is closed on Sundays. They should really update their hours to avoid customer disappointment.

    3 street Tacos

Taco Works is the place to be. Best Tacos, hands up , in SWFL! For my 1st time, I got 3 street Tacos, and they were huge! Didn't expect that. Next time I'll be getting a specialty Taco. But they have beer, a full bar, music playing, great service, it definitely was a great experience!

When Mr.Roberto greeted us it truly felt like he was welcoming us into his home. We were seated and I ordered a lime house margarita and the jalapeño queso to start. The margarita blew me out of the water. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from getting another one (maybe on the weekend hehehe) the queso came out warm and Cheesey just how you want it! They give chips and salsa to start. Three types in a bottle and a pico type in a container. This is wonderful for me because I am a little baby when it comes to spice so I enjoyed the flavorful mild (green) while my boyfriend was a fan of the dark red really spicy one! For our mains we both got tacos he got the carne asada soft shell taco combo which came with three and I got the taco supreme which came with 2 mine were hard shell with a layer of cheese and then a soft shell. I really appreciate how they use shredded cheese on the tacos I got- it was very authentic and reminded me of actual Mexican food from Mexico and not this east coast Mexican food I can't seem to get away from in FL! We finished off the night with the flaun which was creamy and the perfect way to end this feast. We had to go boxes when we left and a beautiful heartfelt conversation with Mr.Roberto. He was full of pride, kindness, and personality. He made sure to visit every table and the atmosphere made me never want to do a to go order because then you'd be missing out of all the immaculate vibes. I can't wait to go back!

I went with a selection of tacos - asada, chorizo and pollo. The chorizo was my favorite. They make their own salsa in three levels of spice. My favorite was the mild. It was creamy and flavorful. I also had an hankering for dessert so I tried the flan. It was probably better than the meal itself! It wasn't too sweet but it was rich and delicious - don't miss it if you're coming here.

Tucked in the shopping plaza at Winkler / Gladiolus in Ft Myers, this cute and cozy spot has easy access to and from the beach and close to Health Park hospital. There are booths and a few tables for seating and to-go orders were available and certainly popular on our visit. The decor was festive and soft Mexican music played in the background. Bottled Mexican sodas, can sodas and beer are available. We chose sodas and chips and salsa to start as we scanned the menu. Please note, this is not like going to a typical American Mexican restaurant were chips and salsa come complimentary; you'll pay for a basket of fresh, hot, crispy tortilla chips and a 3 types of fresh salsa : green, spicy red and a creamy green. All were exceptional and fresh. Hubby ordered combo fajitas; beef and chicken. It came with a generous side of beans, rice and tortillas. I ordered the chicken flautas which also came with a side of beans and rice. Fajitas; meats were juicy and vegetables were cooked perfect. The flour tortillas were homemade and perfect taco size. Chicken flautas were crispy with a nice helping of shredded lettuce and cream sauce atop. We both enjoyed the refried beans and rice. Although my only complaint would be a bit more seasoning as I did use salt. Service was friendly, swift and efficient. The restaurant was tidy and clean. Definitely an easy laid back vibe. Can't wait for our next visit; I eyed the chicken nachos and they looked divine!

Only con in my opinion is that it is on the pricy side for street tacos. I would say it is more of a take out spot but they do have plenty of seating.
