Was really craving tacos and this place did not disappoint! We also had the Birria tacos, made with goat and OMG so yummy! My pic of them didn't save but trust me you won't be disappointed. The Cebaza was tender and delicious as well. They give you red and green sauce and the green was by far our favorite, adds just the perfect flavor. We brought home the Pastor quesadilla, so can't wait to try it! The gentlemen that work there are very friendly and helpful with deciding what to try. We ate inside "The Bus" and it has a cool vibe, they did a good job providing a few booths so you can eat immediately and not have to eat in your car. We'll definitely be back and try the Torta's and Burgers.

Late review. Our order: pineapple marinated pastor, cabeza, lamb soup (don't recall the name, not pictured) and octopus fries (made with sausages). We arrived late to Albuquerque. At the time, most businesses closed at 10pm. This was one of the only restaurants that was serving until 11:30pm and we arrived shy of 11:15pm. Truly the best tacos I've ever had. TacoBus made me understand for the first time what a craving for tacos feels like. Could not stop gobbling down the food even though my mouth was on fire from the (green, my preference) chilies. My absolute favorite was the lamb soup. The best cure to frigid highland winds: tender meat, tang and spice rolled in a comfy blanket wrapped around your tummy. Have been searching for something similar since we got back to the Bay Area and still haven't found it. TacoBus set the tone for the rest of our adventures with New Mexican cuisine and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, we didn't get to dine inside, would have been cool! It is situated in a mildly sketchy neighborhood, they give you a buzzer after you order and you can wait in your car.

We looked up taco places in Albuquerque and came across TacoBus, decided to check it out and liked it! The food was made relatively quickly and tasted good! I got half asada and half pastor, I feel like the tacos could have had a little more filling but overall I was happy with it!

    Asada Tacos

Ive driven past this bus several times and finally decided to try after reading raving reviews. Pretty spot-on with 5-stars, for the quality and price. This is traditional Mexican NOT New Mexican cuisine. We tried the Fuego Burger, asada quesadillas, asada tacos, al pastor tacos, and french fries. Our favorites were the fuego burger, quesadillas, and fries. Be warned, the fuego burger lives up to its name, IT IS HOT!!!! The bus has been there for approx. 3.5 years, family-owned by family from Guadalajara, MX, so pretty damn authentic!

Top notch service on a city bus with authentic Mexican food. It doesn't get any better than this, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the bus itself is super fun to lounge in while you wait for your food. And the bus itself makes the experience. As far as the food goes, I can't even rave about it enough. So far I've tried the tacos, and Birria, oooooh my goodness just too good.! Can't miss out on this New Mexican gem.

The ambiance was solid, with local artwork and pottery throughout the restaurant. While we were able to get seats immediately, the service was unacceptable. Gobble This had only one chef and one server, which meant that we had to wait 40 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was not crowded. If you are a restaurant in a major tourist area on a weekend, you cannot have just one chef and server for your guests. I got the chicken tacos, which were fine. However, they were not worth the high cost ($25) or the long wait. My wife got a pupusa platter with rice and beans, which cost $20. It came with one medium-sized pupusa and a small amount of rice and beans. This exact dish would cost less than half that amount in a big city. Even accounting for the tourist area higher costs, this was outrageous. There is far better Latin American and New Mexican cuisine in Albuquerque with better portions at more affordable prices; I would go elsewhere for that experience.

Ordered the diablo shrimp. She said they could make it with a corn topper. It came out with a wheat flour topper. She apologized and said she would remake it. And here is where things went left. There was a mix up about what would be remade. She meant they would remake the topper. I thought she said they would remake the meal because of cross contamination. Then it was a little back and forth with what she believed to be the difference between an allergy and an intolerance. But I think she meant the difference between celiac and a gluten intolerance. I asked for the food not to be remade and found somewhere else to eat If you don't have celiac or a gluten intolerance, please don't argue with folks about the impacts on their bodies. The agua fresca was good.
