This place had such good reviews so I was kind of bummed with my experience. I ordered a vanilla latte and a bagel, and the coffee wasn't bad, just a little watery? They also didn't toast my bagel so it was pretty cold. I'm not sure if that's because you had to ask for it toasted but i've never encountered that before. I visited from Oklahoma for a week and I needed a drive thru coffee stand that had Coconut milk or hemp milk and this place had it!!! And they were so friendly. It was the best coffee I had had in a long time. Seriously amazing coffee and service. The drive through is a little tricky if you're coming from the opposite direction but whatever it's worth it, you'll figure it out, haha. read more

The drink i got was a vanilla bean cream frappe. There was no taste and if i hadn't gotten coffee in it then it would taste like ice blended with no flavor. My brother got the mint chocolate chip frappe and again you can not taste any of the mint or chocolate and all you can taste is the coffee. There is not enough flavor. Maybe it's just the frappes but all i know is that i'm not getting coffee from here again. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I was running late this morning, so I went to Tacoma Java on my break. Ended up spending $6.90 on a 20oz Americano (water and espresso)! On top of that the cashier over charged me. She billed me for my drink plus someone else's. Charging me over $10 for a medium americano. When I tried to tell the barista, without even looking she tells me that I have someone else's receipt. 15 minutes later she finally looks at my receipt and card, subtracts the difference and tosses it at me. Love this spot! Delicious, consistent coffee, and the only stand in the area with a drive they window. The girls who work here are always so friendly, remember my drink, and they have punch cards! I frequent here multiple times a week and highly recommend to others in the area. Happy to see this business doing well in a building that remained closed for so long. read more

Was headed to my physical therapy appointment and had a few minutes to spare so I walked over to this little coffee shop. The gals were cute and friendly. The place had a little bar with a couple seats inside, but I'm guessing since its a drive thru, that's where the majority of their customers come from. I got a 12oz vanilla chai. I absolutely love this place, where do I even start? First, the girls who work here are super friendly and always make it a great experience, no matter what time of day I'm stopping by. They're always ready to provide new suggestions and after only a few times stopping by knew my "regular". Not once have I driven up or walked in and not been asked how my day was going, which seems to be a rare experience these days. The espresso is great; not bitter, but definitely a good, strong flavor that packs enough punch to get me through my day. The flavor choices are off the chart, and I've already tried at least five different variations of my Americano including butter pecan (YUM) and funky monkey. My order is always made super quickly too, which is a huge plus for the perpetually late folk out there like me. Staff and owner are very friendly!!! The coffee is always made perfect! Little wait time and good price! They are also pet friendly! Our dog loves their treats and literally hangs out the window as soon as we pull in! Came here for the first time today because I was looking for a good drive through coffee stand near my school. There were a few cars in front of me in line but it moved pretty quickly. The menu has lots of selections. Happy hour every day in the afternoon and daily specials. I ordered an iced white chocolate americano iced and they made it perfectly! Not too sweet or bitter at all. Ordered an Americano and a mocha today, it was our first time stopping by to try their coffee. The americano was bland, watery, and honestly, didn't taste like coffee at all. There was a heaping mound of grounds at the bottom of the cup. The mocha tasted like a chocolate powder was added, and you could taste the grainy consistency in the coffee. Came here multiple times, didn't have a problem until I ordered my usual and the barista added cream when I never asked for it. I told her that I didn't want cream, and she told me that she couldn't remake my drink because "they would be losing money"..... They will be losing my business. I was appalled by such terrible customer service and will not ever be going back again. Being in customer service, I could never imagine treating a customer this way. I used to like coming here until I was treated like a piece of garbage! First of all none of the baristas seem to know their own prices of anything!! yesterday i had a coffee with an extra shot, today same coffee with no extra shot and my coffee was a whole dollar more expensive than I have ever paid here. I asked the barista about the price and she gave me major attitude for no reason, she then proceeded to try to argue with me about the price. Then the other barista gives me the wrong drink, because apparently she couldn't hear the other girl who told my order to her at least 5 times! She proceeded to tell the one making the drink again, to make it with a substitute milk. Then I heard her mumble a smart remark about how it will just make my drink "watery". (note: Add more ice to the blended drink and that wont be an issue!!) needless to say, my experience here was the last one I'll have with this business. read more
