Half Southwest Rice Bowl with grilled chicken

The food is always fresh! We love the queso, chicken habanero taco, Hawaiian shrimp taco, Baja fish tacos, and rice bowls! Some tacos rotate during different seasons. They have fountain drinks, but also have glass bottle cokes and Jarritos. The Jarritos come in mandarin and pineapple. They also have different type of fruit punch that rotate like watermelon strawberry. Team members are helpful and friendly! Interior is decorated with maps and objects from different parts of the globe. The really cool thing about this chain is that sales support a food ministry to provide meals for people in need!

Service was nice, efficient and the food was really good. The watermelon punch is delicious. My daughter got the corn as a side it was quite tasty I will try the next time.

Crushed up chicken bones and cartilage in quesadilla

I was only two bites into a quesadilla when I bit into crushed up chicken bones and cartilage. I threw that quarter of quesadilla away, bit into another quarter, and it was the same thing. I ended up throwing the whole thing away. Very disappointing.

I am a taco girl at heart, and I went to Tacos 4 Life for lunch with a friend just to catchup. Upon arrival, I notice it wasn't busy at all so we were able to order and be seated quickly. I placed my order for the 2 taco combo meal with a side. The tacos I chose were the chipotle steak taco and the chicken fajita taco with a side of queso rice. Out of the two, I enjoyed the chipotle steak taco. The steak was cooked medium well, it wasn't hard to chew at all the sour cream and salsa gave it the extra flavor it needed. The chicken fajita wasn't my favorite, the chicken was cold and of the toppings were falling out of the taco, it was a runny mess. The queso rice was room temperature, I expected it to be steaming hot because who wants to eat cold cheese ? Overall Tacos Life is a spacious restaurant with enough parking and seating for your family and friends.

I typically don't like Americanized taco places. But my wife likes to try everything. So we had to try here. The carnitas were awful but the bacon ranch one was ok. I will stick to real tacos.

Came here because of the high ratings on this location and the positive reviews, and needless to say it turned out to be okay. We enjoyed the trio dip and the tacos were very flavorful, but hardly any meat in them. This was upsetting considering we paid almost $5 for each taco. I do like the variety of unique tacos they offer because they each have unique flavors, so I understand why it is a very popular taco location. Overall it was a good experience, and was glad I got to try something new :)

I was so excited when I found out that a Tacos 4 Life was coming to my community. I visited a Little Rock store and not only loved the food, but I love the mission. I ordered the Korean steak and chicken bacon ranch tacos. The chicken bacon ranch was just as I remembered it. I just love the puffy taco shell. That is just not common. The Korean steak taco wasn't the way I recalled. It needed some extra sauce or something made it not as tasty. The Mexican creamed corn, rather best known as Elote, was terrific. So very tasty and flavorful. Best of all is their signature Honey Limeade. Oh so sweet & tangy. I got a refill while I waited on my order to be completed. Maybe it's because I got my order to go that I missed an opportunity for sauce (salsa). But that would've put my meal into orbit. I still will be back.

Great place for an awesome taco and the southwest chicken salad is stellar! This place is going to be a great hit and I will return. Feeding children with a portion of each meal you buy is a nice touch! Owner stops by to say thank you and check on your food and service! Bravo

Literally the worst tacos I've ever eaten. I've never had a sweet taco till now. Not what you expect when eating Mexican food.

So much that I usually make little happy dances and pleasure sounds while eating. I don't even care who sees me either. There is more soul in this little gas station restaurant than anywhere within twenty miles. This is Soul Food at its best. You may ask how I can call Mexican food, Soul Food...? Here is my take... Soul Food, to me, is much more than a "type of food". Don't get me crooked, I am all about some OxTail's, Smothered Pork Chops, Chicken & Dressing, Turkey Necks, Greens, Cornbread, etc. etc. etc. It's about food made with love, by people who love to make food, with techniques and seasonings handed down through generations of good people. That is what you get here! Every time I eat here I am filled with the love of the folks in the kitchen as well as their ancestors. It's a small family business, and Tony is one of the greatest people you will ever meet. He is so happy to be in his little section of this gas station slinging this heavenly food. I drive 40 minutes each way from work to eat here and as soon as I leave I cannot wait to get back. It's that damn good! Everything is great, but you have to try the Carnitas! Life changing flavor! We enjoyed the barbacoa and the carnitas and yes, even the veggie. I read a review about it being just cabbage and pico...but that is the exact description. Taconganas were served with a side of cabbage and I found myself adding it to everything even though I was weary at first. I look forward to returning and trying more things. Birria Ramen sounds perfect to me. Run and enjoy! ( Ps. The service was delightful. And the atmosphere was fun and casual. They even had cornhole boards and life size connect 4. We ordered six tacos and two drinks, and our total came out to around $35. The food was definitely good. The meat was flavorful, the tacos were loaded, and everything tasted fresh. The tortillas held up well, and the toppings complemented the meat without overpowering it. The drinks were refreshing and paired well with the meal. That being said, the biggest issue for me is the price. While the tacos were tasty, I don't know if they were $35-for-lunch tasty. Memphis has no shortage of great taco trucks and taquerias, and honestly, you can find similar quality at several other spots for less money. The service was quick, and our food came out fast even during the lunch rush. The outdoor seating was nice, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I can see why Taco Nganas has such a strong following. Would I come back? Yes, but probably not often. This feels more like a once-in-a-while treat rather than a regular lunch stop. The food earns high marks, but the price keeps me from giving it five stars. Overall, good tacos, good service, and a good experience. Just be prepared to spend a little more than you would at most taco trucks. 4 out of 5 tacos.

Food was fine, the experience and just the vibe was pretty cool. Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely come back but will probably go with something more "basic" like tacos or a burrito. I had chilaquiles with steak and egg. Eggs were cooked exactly how I asked (over medium). As often occurs the cut of meat for the steak isn't the best cut of steak on the cow so while it wasn't chewy and gristly it wasn't tender and juicy either. Same with the wife's carne asada - we've both had better steaks at other Mexican places around here. The pork rind wagon wheels (I think that's what they were) were good but we got an order of chips and salsa as well ($5.99!!!) because one of the kids wasn't going to touch those wagon wheels no way no how. The salsa is very good - it's the red and the green mixed with pico de gallo and is quite spicy. All in all the experience and the vibe of the place was better than the food but I'm hopeful some different things off the menu would lead to a better eating experience. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine just not great and with the total bill hitting 95 bucks it wasn't worth that. But I will be back to try the street tacos or burritos.

It was pretty busy when we went on a Wednesday evening and that showed us some promise. I am from Arizona so I know good Mexican food. We walked in and sat down right away. I brought my hydro flask water bottle inside and didn't order a drink from our waitress. Another lady came up after and said I couldn't have outside food or drinks inside and I told them it was just water and she rudely said if I didn't take it outside I couldn't stay. This literally blew my mind. It's water. And to threaten my presence over a cup is wild. This introduction did not leave me with any optimism for the food. They give you chips and salsa with individual cups for salsa which I do appreciate. Both were fine but the salsa tasted like Pace from a jar. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, however my order was wrong. I got the pick 3 combo with rice and beans. I picked a beef quesadilla, a chille relleno and a fried tamale but the tamale was relaxed with some kind of stuff poblano pepper. Both stuffed peppers were terrible and I didn't eat them. The meat inside was soft and mushy and the sauce on the top had way too much going on. The quesadilla had good cheese but the "shredded beef" was really like a soft roasting meat that had no salt. I think I only ate the rice and beans and 1/3 of the quesadilla and took all of the toppings out of it. Overall a terrible experience and I would never return if I lived here.
