The asada tacos are beyond amazing. I would sau the best I had ever had. The meat is the perfect comnsistency, flavor and doneness perfect. They get very busy and parking can be difficult then and it is cash only.

best tacos ever ! seriously ! I wish they were closer to the east valley , but I'm always more than willing to make 45 minute drive out there . must try the vampiros. the salsa they put in them is amazing. I wish they opened earlier & I would be there all the time. if you love tacos as much as I do , you must go here!

Disgusting and flavorless. What a joke!

Just moved from Cali and I pass this place everyday on my way to my pad and it's always packed. Decided to come here for dinner today. I read reviews of how bomb and authentic this place is to Cali and TJ tacos. What a fucking joke. These tacos are disgusting to say the least. I ordered 2 asada and 2 al pastor with a large horchata. First off who puts cabbage in tacos? And no onion and cilantro? The salsas and horchata lacked flavor. There's nothing great about these tacos. Everything was flavorless and taste nothing like tacos from TJ. If this is supposably the best taco stand in AZ then that's the end of my taco search. People out here either have no taste buds or never had the real deal. The tacos are also small and over priced at $2.50 a taco and up. That's ridiculous considering the size and the tortillas not being hand made. It was a waste of my time and money. I will never return again. Side note. The singer needs to go!

Honestly, my favorite burger I've ever had. You can really taste the quality of each ingredient,…read moretheir Wagyu patty is actually so worth the 30 minute line. I did get the spicy viva burger to try as well, and didn't like it as much. It lacked depth of flavor and kinda just tasted spicy. Still a solid burger of course, but I would go back to the classic ones next time. During lent, they had their fish sandwich, which was INSANE. The best one we have ever had. The fish was crispy on the outside, flakey and buttery on the inside. The tartar sauce was perfectly tart and balanced the whole thing. I AM PRAYINGG it comes back for times other than lent. Ruined every other fish sandwich for me. We tried their fries both times we went, and honestly not a fan. They're beef tallow fries so they're supposedly "better" but they were pretty hard and oily, and have the meat taste from the beef tallow that I don't like, I would skip these. People start lining up before the truck opens so I suggest getting there 20 minutes early for quick service, otherwise you'll be looking at an hourish wait. But trust me, it's worth it

My friends and I arrived about 20 minutes before the truck opened, and there were already a few people standing in line. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time.

Yet - in Arizona - there it is. With all the jibber-jabber about SoCal vs. Norcal vs. Texas vs. Chicago Mexican food, the true champion is on the sands of the Sonoran Desert. So what about the machaca? The chilaquiles are fine. Would be even better if served hot instead of lukewarm. The puree of pinto beans are piquantly larded. As for the tamal, the masa tasted oddly sweet. But the machaca starred. First they dry the beef. Then they smoked it. Finally they shred it. These pencil shavings of carne de res are then reconstituted in a sofrito. The flavor gives evidence of the smoke; gives evidence of the drying process; you discover also a slight tang from the aging process - similar to any dry-aged beef - but also bottarga or shrimp paste. In a jar on the table are the native chiltepin dried chillies. Each table has its own ornamental chili grinder. They sell cafe de la oya and champurado that are nice, notwithstanding the violent sun of Pheonix, AZ. * I kid. There's nothing wrong with preparing, serving, or eating food under a tent.
