The drinks are super small, especially a house margarita that they only have one size and it's in a rock glass (sometimes in a small clay cup same size), and it's all ice! I took 3 sips and it was gone. It was a decent margarita but the dive bars would serve more liquid than this place. Also it's $10 for the 3 ounces of basic margarita. Most of the other Mexican places nearby have large and larger options and for cheaper or similar price. I also had a chicken quesadilla. Price was a little higher than most the places around but only by $2-3. If I return it will be for the happy hour because otherwise the drink sizes for the price ruin it for me. (No Mexican restaurant should ever have a margarita that fits in a rock glass, even if it wasn't all ice!) read more

I can tell you that the service was very fast from the moment we got in, we were greeted immediately, got a table with chips and salsa right then. And after w Ella ed the order- our food came out very fast and it was good. Great portions & good taste The ambiance was fine, only down side was the location where they are in the plaza, they happen to be towards the back by the garbage and it smells outside, but once you go inside it goes away thankfully . Food was great! We really enjoyed the cozy vibe and focused but diverse menu options. My chicken flautas were crispy and and the meat was seasoned well wish fresh toppings. My wife's Birria Tacos were delicious and the reason to come here for sure. We unfortunately didn't have the best service as it took awhile to have our drink order taken and several tables around us were seated afterwards with larger parties and were served, received food and checks sooner than us. This place has been open for a little while and this location is close to where I live. There is another location in celebration which I believe is bigger. I've been wanting to stop here and have the opportunity yesterday after a day out. I arrived around three in the afternoon and they were actually quite a few people dining in. I was seated quickly and given a menu, which I asked for a minute to go over as it was my first time there. The gentleman who seated me was also my waiter and he was very friendly if a little confused on a few things. Luckily, I am a seasoned diner and was able to get through everything to my satisfaction. After reading the menu, he stopped back to take my order. I started with a drink, which I thought would be easy. I asked for a Starry which is clearly printed on their menu. After several minutes of explaining exactly what it was and what was in it we finally came to the realization that they no longer carry Pepsi products and now have Coca-Cola. He was unable to translate it into a sprite, which is the Coke version. Once I had made it clear, he left and brought one back for me. One sip told me something was wrong. When he stopped back a couple of minutes later, I explained that the soda tasted like it had no syrup in it and another round of explanation ensued to where he finally understood that what I had was just a glass of soda water. To make things easier, I switched to a lemonade, which turned out perfect. For my entrée, I ordered the Birria Burrito as I have never had one before. I had to customize it a little for my taste, but that was painless. It wasn't long before my food arrived and it looked and smelled really good. It appears that they fill the burrito and then roll it and cheese on the grill, which makes it a little crispy on the outside and adds another dimension to the flavor. The consume that comes with it was tasty and I liked the salsa that was also with it. As the chips and salsa that I was initially brought were really good and had a bit of a kick I knew everything else would be good. I'm glad I was right. The service may need a bit of polishing, but it was friendly and the food more than made up for it. As for the restaurant itself, it has a nice feel to it and they had Hispanic music playing that was a little loud for my taste, but still pleasant enough. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and there is plenty of parking in the lot they are in. This restaurant is set in the back corner of a strip mall with a Publix as the anchor. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of the other items on their menu. They even have lunch specials with some good choices. read more

Nice little hideaway in Championsgate. There is outside dining but the inside is quaint. Greeted and seated right away. Complimentary chips and salsa, chips are served warm, the salsa was flavorful. We order, me crispy fish tacos, fiance birria tacos. His came out first and he liked them. Mine came out on flour tortillas when menu said corn. The fish was grilled and sus looking. I figured ok not what i ordered but no sense having to wait to get a new plate while my man is eating. First bite and i pulled out a long, long hair. I asked the hostess to get our server. He took it away and 20 minutes later brought another out. Fiance was done eating. I was done. I asked for the bill and told them to keep the tacos. Everyone has bad days but trying to relax and have a nice dinner was not happening no matter how much stuff i overlooked. There are too many Mexican restaurants to put up with this. My husband really loved his birria burrito - stuffed full of meat & toppings, it was gigantic! Great house made guac, super fresh and good portion size. Staying at Omni resort championsgate and ordered carry out for dinner. 3 tacos with beans & rice for myself , 3 tacos with beans & rice for my husband , kids taco & guacamole/ chips to share. Ordering online wasn't easy to customize , took approx 25 mins from order time to pickup. Child didn't like the kids taco since it had red & green chilies added ( I didn't know when I ordered.) The Guacamole didn't taste that fresh but was edible. The chicken tacos were okay, did not realize the tacos had onions & peppers . My boyfriend and I came here three months ago when we were househunting and we absolutely loved it! We brought my dad when he was in town and he loved it as well! I was quite hungry after my flight and was craving some mexican food, so I ordered Tacos Don Andres since it seemed to be popular on the app. I ordered the birria burrito, which was relatively pricey ($20), though it was very big and lasted me two meals. I have had birria tacos and quesadillas before, but never a birria burrito, so I was interested to try it since it seemed popular. The burrito was good, but didnt taste much like birria (maybe because of the cheese). It was also hard to eat since it was so large and soft, so biting into it made a lot of food fall out. I would probably recommend trying the tacos or quesadilla instead for more of a birria taste and easier eating! read more

Wow!!! We had no idea this place existed. We were looking for something different in our area to try and saw this. When we pulled up, we noticed how packed the place was, luckily we were going to order our food to go. We ordered at the counter and we were told maybe 20 minutes until it was ready. I'd say we waited about 15 minutes. Once home we busted open the food and dove in. Man it was all so tasty. The Carnita was the star of the show, man that pork was so tender and marinated perfectly. We also ordered the Birria Burrito. This burrito was phenomenal, and packed full of flavor and the short ribbon was so tender. The consommé severed with the burrito paired perfectly with the burrito. We had to try the Elotes off the cobb too. It was very tasty and served as an excellent compliment to our meal. We will for sure come back again. I come here about once a week! Literally my favorite taco spot ever! You're always greeted as soon as you walk in. The people that work here are so nice and welcoming. The chips and salsa are so addicting, you kind of have to stop yourself from eating the whole basket. I always get the Asada tacos which is such a great deal. Comes with the fluffiest rice and yummiest beans. If I'm not ordering that, I am usually getting the Maya tacos which are shrimp tacos. Get them crispy and thank me later!
