Zocalo Grill is the best seafood restaurant in the area. The portions are great for the price and the seafood is perfectly cooked. On this visit we had fried calamari and shrimp tacos. The fried calamari was super fresh and tender. The portion was good for $10. The shrimp tacos were also good. Have had them from here twice so far. Have also had some of their soups. The lobster bisque on Saturday only is the best. Every day they have a different soup. When we buy blu ceab from the attached seafood market they will cook it for us with beer and old bay. They used to charge $10, but this last time they charged us $20. The food at Zocala Grill is great and it is best to come hungry. read more

We end to to check out their food for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Everything was delicious and fast. We tried their salmon both with and without the white sauce . Their rice with seafood and something else lol, and a salad with pico de gallo. Also their potatoes with peppers definitely recommend and will go back to try another dish from their menu. The service was excellent Is a small restaurant, so I imagine it can be busy on the weekends. But we had a good time during lunch' on a weekday. read more

All seafood dishes were cooked perfectly. Everything tastes super fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend. The grill and market are connected on the inside. Lots of fresh options at the market as well. Molcajete for 1 was a large portion and came with a side of rice and salad. I popped in after finishing some morning errands. It was about 1030 am and I was the only customer there. The food was delicious. The service was awesome. And the vibe was nice. My only issue was it was a bit too cold in the restaurant. My food lost it's heat too soon but it was so good I kept eating. I plan to bring my husband and kids here so they can experience the deliciousness. When I finished eating I wandered into the market next door and wow! Everything was so incredibly FRESH! read more

WHAT A HIDDEN GEM.. wife & I decided to try new places today and decided to visit zócalos. This restaurant is next to their market store and what a surprise of flavors, service & ambience you obtain as soon as you enter this place ... all staffs members were really attentive explaining where to order what prices on items they had on menu, you can sit inside or outside ( not a big restaurant so sometimes could be limited spaces available ). Drinks and food were INCREDIBLE, red snappers was huge and so fresh same with the mofongo. My wife loved the michelada 10 of 10, the mexican shrimp cocktail did not disappointed AT ALL!!! I'm definitely counting the days to go back again with family and enjoy a delicious meal! All of that for under $80... Definitely worth it and DELICIOUS!! After two years of being in the area and shopping at zocalo, I finally stopped by the restaurant. We checked the menu and ordered at the front. The food took an HOUR, yes that's including the appetizer. The appetizer was given to us at 448 and at 451 the food came out. That was my first complaint to the waitress which is why we probably got everything together. It was probably sitting back in the kitchen. My second was that the service was horrible. Our waitress barely came out and when asked for water it never came. We had to go inside to get it. I ordered food to go (wings and ceviche) which neither takes long and it took 30 minutes to come out. I'm giving a 3 star and that's being generous. The only reason why I'm not giving a 2 is because the food was absolutely delicious. As an appetizer I got the salmon croquettes and fish tacos as an entree. I enjoyed sitting outside and was happy that they had music. They also were playing the baseball classic and the other customers sitting out were very sweet. Consider this a must eat! We took the family down to LegoLand and wanted a place to eat dinner on the way back to Orlando. This is a gem! A diamond in the rough! The prices are affordable. The amount of food you receive is ridiculous. Everything taste fresh and is on point! Some highlights: Surf & Turf Mofongo was super flavorful and that garlic sauce you would want to bathe in. Garlic Parm Wings: super crispy and saucy. My 6 year old threw down on these bad boys. The rest of our group's food looked absolutely amazing. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We also had a large group so we really couldn't fit inside. Everyone was super helpful and we can't wait to stop by here again! read more

The food was amazing. The only downside to this establishment is the parking lot can be quite busy on the weekends.

This seafood grill is next door to Zocalo seafood market. They have different hours but are owned by the same people. There's outdoor and indoor seating, you just order and pay at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. I ordered the Caribbean Churrasco which came with tostones on the side. It came out on a sizzling cast iron pan and the smell was amazing. Service was fast and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Drove by the Zocala fish market and saw they had a restaurant right next door. Figured it would be super fresh and was really excited to try as there is a lot of great mariscos restaurants in Los Angeles but I hadn't found one yet in FL. This place literally blew me away and was soooo good I ended up coming another couple of times before my trip ended. The molcajete was the best thing I got. Fried fish, shrimp, calamari, octopus and an incredible sauce. It is a ton of food and the for one could feed me a second day. The paella was just as good. Also a giant serving. On one of our last nights of our vacation my husband wanted a piece of swordfish for dinner so we checked Yelp and found this place. We decided to check out the attached fish market first. One of the very helpful employees mentioned that if the fish we wanted was not on the Grill's menu we could purchase it at the fish market and the Grill would cook it for us. So he got a half filet of swordfish and I got a half filet of sea bass. We walked through the adjoining doors to the Grill, ordered some sides and OMG!!!!! The fish was perfectly cooked and SOOOOOOOOO delicious!! My husband also ordered a bowl of the soup of the day, manhattan clam chowder, also delicious! Of course we had way more food than we could eat but it was such a great meal!! Seating is limited but very clean and staff is very friendly. We will stop again when we are in the area and highly recommend it if you are looking for a specific well cooked fish!! Yum!!!!! read more

My wife and I recently tried the zocalo grill and fish market. Went went for lunch and tried a variety of dishes. My wife had one of their buffet dishes which included shrimp rice and vegetables. Huge portion shrimp were cooked perfectly and were fresh and delicious. My dad had the shrimp fajita and vegetables. Also a huge portion and delicious. I had the garlic mufungo. Excellent but a little dry. Excellent service and friendly. We also visited the fish market which was well stocked. read more
