This is an upgraded taco stand, with fixed canopies and folding table seating. Not a fancy place, but fancy for a taco truck. They have great tacos and tortillas were pretty good. If it is hot (IT'S YUMA) then it will be a few degrees cooler under the canopy because they have large fan coolers, but it will not be enough to change the temp as it is outdoor seating. You can call ahead, but it was a slow Sunday and there was no wait for us. We were passing through from AZ to CA and this was highly rated. We did not realize it was a food truck, but this made the prices decent and it was quick. Very casual. I would stop here again. read more

I'm not going to be in that position again where they can add more to my bill without my choice and force me to pay for it. It's more a taco stand than a restaurant with picnic tables just like the ones on any school playground. The stove is right next to the register so you can see what's being prepared for customers ahead of you as you order, which helped with ordering - I just pointed and said "I'll take two of those." We liked everything we ordered, including a couple of things I had never heard of. I was pleased that they offered surf(fish and shrimp) in addition to turf. Stopped by here on my way to San Diego. Super casual, large amount outdoor seating only. Most of their business is to-go during these hot summer months. Simple menu, mostly really good tacos and quesadillas and Loved the fried shrimp, pastor ( marinated pork) also had variation with Anaheim chile and jalapeño and they have a really good condiment bar to add to the food, great salsas and fixings. I was fortunate to catch them open just before they close down for a few months for summer.was told they will reopen in September. I look forward to my next stop in the fall! read more

For those of you who love taco stands and food trucks - this place is legit. This is a family-run business and everyone works their tails off, especially the patriarch behind the grill. All they sell is tacos and you choose your meat - carne asada, pastor, chicken, shrimp and fried fish to name a few. Actually, I think they are now selling pinot beans on the side. All of the meats are delicious, so I try several different ones each time. When your order is called, you pick up your plate with the meat piled on either flour or corn tortillas (your choice) and then you head over the condiment bar. Once there, you add whatever your want - shredded cabbage, cilantro & onion mix, fresh lime wedges, radishes, pickled carrots, and several homemade salsas and sauces in squeeze bottles. The only thing missing is cotija cheese - or any other salty Mexican cheese that you can sprinkle on for a finishing touch.
